Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. Hot honey is in everything from breakfast to desserts recipes. The recipes are easy and simple. I like that there are pictures to go with the recipes. I’m definitely looking forward to trying several of these recipes!

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book!

I love cooking and this recipe book is great! I love all the different ideas to use hot honey. This includes breakfast, appetizers, mains, sides, and desserts. I really can't wait to make the fried chicken sandwiches and the peach pie. Yum!

This is a delightful cookbook. I have some hot honey at home and I have done a couple of things with it - drizzled on fried chicken and pizza, but...oh my. This book has so many great recipes, plus the color photos are gorgeous.

The recipes are presented by type of food - breakfasts, main dishes, sides, desserts, cocktails. The corn fritters with avocado and hot honey, savory dutch baby, chicken and cabbage salad, and black pepper tofu all looked delicious! I was especially happy to see there was a good variety of proteins, including tofu.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC, Super excited to cook from this one and get some more use out of my hot honey. (And while, this cookbook seems to use a specific brand - AR's Hot Southern Honey, all the recipes seem like they can be used with any hot honey, in my case what I have on hand is Mike's Hot Honey).

I picked this up because I adore the taste of honey. I especially love the mix between sweet and savoury flavours so this was just sheer perfection for me!

The images were great and the steps for each recipe were simply and clearly communicated which is super important for me because I’m not a great cook.

Well done.

I have never seen hot honey in any of my grocery stores but I might need to look a bit harder for it going forward! This book had lots of classic recipes that were elevated using hot honey and other spices. I've saved a few of these recipes in hopes of either finding hot honey or making my own.

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review.

As a rabid honey lover who has enjoyed infusing various honeys with heat and spices for years, I was beyond thrilled to discover the Hot Honey Cookbook! Condiments add that special je ne sais quois to dishes and hot honey in particular is highlighted here. AR's Hot Southern Honey founder Ames Russell briefly details the history of the company including sourcing honey and lists the honey products the company sells. They all sound fantastic!

Honey is underrated in cooking and drizzling. Sixty mouthwatering recipes are featured along with delectable photographs. Amongst the many I plan to make include Cornmeal Blueberry Brown Butter Muffins, Poached Egg and Honey Ham on English Muffins, Savory Dutch Baby with Prosciutto and Parmesan, Spicy Korean-Style Chicken Wings, Corn Fritters with Avocado and Hot Honey, Crispy Cornmeal Fries with Parmesan and Mint, Fried Squash Blossoms with Hot Honey and Oregano, Smoky Barbecue Ribs, Broiled Barbecue Salmon with Dill Cucumbers (making the cucumbers this evening...no fresh fish on hand, unfortunately), Fried Green Tomatoes with Smoky Remoulade, Coleslaw with a Kick (making tomorrow) and Caramel Apples with Vanilla Ice Cream. The recipes are simple and clearly lovely according to the ingredient lists/ratios. Though I have celiac, I will simply substitute. Earlier today I made lavender biscuits and am infusing dark local "fruits of the forest" honey with cayenne peppers to slather on top.

Beginning cooks and experts alike will enjoy this book, whether to follow the sweet and savoury recipes or to use them as inspiration.

My sincere thank you to Quarto Publishing Group - Rock Point and NetGalley for the privilege of reading this wonderful book...it has already planted ideas in my brain. I see much more hot honey in my cooking and baking future!
