While the illustrations are wonderful, I feel like it missed the mark for good storytelling. Also I don’t think a book aimed for younger children should include the word stupid in any form.

The sweet and short story is ideal for bedtime reading, and the stunning illustrations are my favorite part. I might buy a copy when it comes out.

This is a sweet book that has the ability to simply read a single story if you're looking to shorten the bedtime reading for the littler ones - but the rhyme and meter through the stories will certainly make for an enjoyable retelling over and over again. Illustrations are beautiful and the characters are sweet.
