I loved this book! It's well-written, enjoyable, and a great read. The author did a great job of writing in a way that captures the readers attention, and makes you not want to put it down until you're finished! This was such a fun Christmas read! I would highly recommend it!

It was a lovely Christmas read. I would give this a 4 star review but I did struggle with so many POV in this so I am giving it a 3.

I started this book and got through about 30% before ending up putting it down. I had a difficult time connecting with the characters and there was a lot of them to keep track of. I had also read a good amount of holiday reads before this one and may have hit my mental limit for the year. I’m going to give this one another shot next winter and see if my feelings change.

Morgan's Snowed in for Christmas delights us with an eager young professional delivering a proposal off at a client's house just before the Christmas snowstorm sets in... but she's too late and the family mis-identifies her as one of the children's girlfriends they haven't yet met. She's now stuck at the client's house with the extended family, each of whom have struggles of their own. There might just be a subplot of a Christmas romance in the snowy Scottish Highlands!

The dynamic between the siblings- Ross, Alice and Clemmie.

This a warm Christian Christmas book with three lovely stories. It is easy to recommend to almost all readers.

Thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas themed romcom full of family drama and mishaps that kept me engaged and entertained. I definitely found this to be a great way to spend a weekend, cozied up with a blanket and this Morgan novel! Will recommend.

The Miller family is gathering for Christmas and all are not happy. Between meddling parents and grandmother, and the siblings pushing each other to the forefront to keep their own life private, it's not a happy vacation. Ross, Alice and Clemmie have secrets that they don’t intend to share, Lucy has tracked down Ross in hopes of getting him to hire her agency for publicity or they won't survive for the new year. Clemie hopes to avoid her own true love that lives next door and Alice discovers the family isn't as perfect as she remembers. Stir in Nana Jean and the holiday goes crazy. A nice Christmas romance.

“Snowed in for Christmas” by Sarah Morgan is a quintessential holiday novel. She transports the reader and this book is a great example. I loved the characters and their story. I would highly recommend this spirited holiday read.

Christmas is just around the corner, but the Miller siblings are not exactly looking forward to the holiday this year. Clemmie, Ross and Alice all have secrets they are keen to keep close to their chests and the last thing they want is to be subjected to their family’s well-meaning but relentless stream of questions all throughout the holiday season. The siblings all agree to have each other’s backs and to deflect attention when things get a little bit too personal, however, little do they realize that this Christmas is going to be full of surprises for the entire Miller clan.

Lucy Clarke is not exactly full of the joys of the season. As she faces the prospect of a lonely Christmas and looming unemployment, Lucy’s future rests solely in the hands of Ross Miller. This is a holiday story following a family in Scotland. Each member of the family is experiencing their own challenges that they are forced to face together once they're all snowed in over Christmas. Plus there's one extra person thrown in the mix when she drops by the house to drop off a business proposal and gets injured and then stuck right along with the rest of them. Over the course of the book, each character develops and with the help and support of each other, they each overcome their problems. Snowed in for Christmas is a very sweet book, though at times a tad on the blah side. It took me a long time to read this book because I'd start to get distracted or sleepy really quickly. If it was maybe shorter and moved along a little quicker, it would've made all the difference. The story is good- just too drawn out. Overall, Snowed in for Christmas is a story of family and love. If you're searching for a sweet holiday read with some family drama and a dash of sweet romance- then this will do!

Lucy Clarke works in a job she adores, with people she loves. Her colleagues are her family - the only one she has after her beloved Grandmother passed away a couple of years ago. Lucy dislikes Christmas for that reason, so decides to spend her holidays working on a campaign in Scotland, where she'll drop a business proposal to the home of Ross Miller, CEO of Miller Active Wear and heir to a Shortbread dynasty.

The Millers are a close-knit family, but they all have their own issues to deal with. This Christmas will be the first time Alice Miller is bringing a boyfriend home - she loves Nico, so why is she so terrified of committing to him? Younger sister Clemmie has made an unconventional decision that she's worried her family will judge her for, Ross is fed up of being questioned about his non-existent love life, and matriarch Glenda is trying to keep the family together while shutting Nanna Jean up before she lands them all in it with her tactlessness.

A big snow storm arrives at the same time Lucy does - and chaos ensues.

Think While You Were Sleeping, mixed with The Holiday, mixed with The Family Stone, and a few Hallmark movies, and you have this. It's lovely. Lucy is grieving, and there are some very poignant moments in there surrounding that, just to be aware. I also felt that the Clemmie/Fergus storyline was just getting started when someone yelled "WRAP IT UP, QUICK!" so I'm less enamoured with the outcome there, but overall it was a very sweet, festive family drama with some moments of hilarity and genuine emotion. A lovely read.

This was the fairy tale, but she’d never liked fairy tales. Occasionally growing up she’d read them to Clemmie, but her sister had been unimpressed by Alice’s version of the stories. The princess doesn’t punch the prince, Alice, and she doesn’t cook the frog in garlic butter.

Look at that. He’s as handsome as his car. Dark hair. I used to love a man with dark hair, although of course as you grow older your standards change. Now I love a man with any hair.

My Review:


I love reading Sarah Morgan’s enticing and evocative tales any day of the year, but I have to admit that her holiday books are extra special. No one does Christmas better with contemporary women’s fiction. Snowed In For Christmas achieved the perfect balance of humor and tension with well-textured, complicated, and multi-faceted characters each with their own struggles, secrets, and family friction. My favorite character was the sassy and spry Nanna Jean, whose cleverness I can only aspire to emulate.

I really enjoyed this sweet Scottish tale of a family changing over the years. The family has grown up and Alice is bringing home her boyfriend that the family will hopes will soon be her husband. I loved the sibling rivalry and the sweet parents who just want the best for their kids.

What a wonderful, warm, fuzzy Christmas book! I loved it!

Lucy lost her grandmother a couple years ago at Christmas time. She used to love Christmas but she’s all alone now. Her parents died years ago, then her grandmother and she has no other family. Christmas is really hard for her. This year, days before Christmas, she decides to deliver a business proposal to Ross Miller at the Miller family home. Everything changes as a result of Lucy’s decision and a big winter storm nicknamed storm Scrooge.

The Miller family children meet every year before the holidays to discuss what they do, and do not, want their parents to learn about their lives during their Christmas visit.
Their mother is well meaning but they don’t want her to know every detail of their personal lives. I’m addition, their grandmother is loving but outspoken and not one to overthink her words before speaking.
Alice is bringing a boyfriend home for the first time in her thirties. She doesn’t want her family to know he proposed.
Clemmie is keeping a big secret about her plans for the future that she hasn’t even told her siblings.
And Ross still isn’t dating anyone seriously.
They, possibly jokingly, decide to tell their family that Ross has a girlfriend. There’s a magazine nearby with Lucy’s face on the cover. They decide to give the fake girlfriend her name and personality. Perfectly harmless right?

And then Lucy shows up on the Miller family doorstep and hilarity ensues.
As everyone is trying to get to the bottom of what’s actually happening, Lucy breaks her ankle.
Between the broken ankle and the storm, Lucy has to stay with the Millers.

This was a really heartwarming story! Lucy needed a family so badly and the Millers needed to appreciate each other more. They get frustrated with each other sometimes but there is so much love and that’s exactly what Lucy needs.

I’d highly recommend reading this!

It's the time of year for Christmas books and this one definitely fit the bill. I really enjoyed all the twists and turns to this one as well as the dynamics between all of the characters. The setting was wonderful and the story well paced, making for a very enjoyable read. This wasn't just a romance but had multiple characters with real issues or triumphs in their lives coming together in the story. This was a great story for that Christmas feeling and another winner from Sarah Morgan.

It's about a woman named Lucy who is facing Christmas alone as well as the prospect of losing her job. She has plans to try to land a big business deal with Ross Miller. She shows up at the Miller family home, a little before the holidays, hoping to deliver her business proposal personally. However, she arrived just in time for a huge snow storm to hit, leaving her stranded with the whole Miller family.

And speaking of the Miller family, they had their own issues. Glenda, the mother, just wanted everything to be perfect when her now grown children came home for Christmas. And Ross and his two sisters have secrets that they want to keep from their parents. They were just trying to get through the holidays, now with Lucy as an added guest.

I really liked the setting of a big family home in the middle of a winter wonderland of snow. I loved all of the family dynamics - the complicated relationships as well as the love that ultimately bonded the family together. It took place in the days leading up to Christmas, which I always like. The secondary characters were great and once again, there was an adorable dog that got my attention! Overall, a great holiday read to add to your lists!

Escape to the Highlands this Christmas with the queen of festive fiction - and this truly is an escape! Sarah Morgan never disappoints, her books are truly heart-warming, thought provoking, and festive (or summery!) in equal measures.
