Disgusta is a coming of age story of a young trans girl in a Southern Christian family that navigates her transness in relation to her attraction to women. It reads at time like a memoir with a very fluid style.

I found it a very interesting to read about a lesbian trans woman who comes from a background where feminity=attraction to men.

The protagonist's journey concerning her religion really touched me as I have been through the same thing.

It is also a book full of friendships, supporting friends and first crushes. I am not sure if this is YA but I definitely would recommend it to someone looking for a trans coming of age.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from RIverdale Avenue Books and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

An eye=opening look at world beyond ones own safe haven, New experiences, finds, things beyond the beliefs one was raised. Do you trust your heart or what you've always been taught?
