As a longtime reader of Stone Barrington novels, I realize that slipping into a new story is kind of like slipping on a favorite pair of shoes. You know what to expect, they’re comfortable, and they get you where you want to go. Distant Thunder was comfortable, entertaining, follows a familiar format, and took me to on a pleasant journey.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, from PENGUIN GROUP Putnam and #NetGalley. Thank you for the opportunity to preview and review. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Another installment in the Stone Barrington series. It reads along the lines of the previous stories, still enjoyable. Murder, mystery, intrigue, if you’re a fan you’ll enjoy.

I love Stone Barrington and his adventures with damsels in distress and the usual cohorts at his side. The latest is no exception, and I ripped through it on my flight from Copenhagen the other day. Keep ‘‘em coming, and I’ll continue to champion them with everyone
