This became one of my favorite recipe books and one I recommend all the time! When I'm in the kitchen, I always have my "kitchen helpers", I seriously can't do much of anything without my crock-pot! I loved the variety of recipes included for all the different little helpers. From crock-pot to air fryers, this book covered a little bit of everything with delicious recipes!

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and Rowman & Littlefield, Gooseberry Patch for providing me with an ARC copy.

Have tried lots of recipes from this book and have yet to have a miss! Would recommend this specifically for the air fryer and instant pot.

These are really great recipes for people just learning to cook, and they're quick and easy recipes for people who already cook on a regular basis.

This book is filled with easy to follow recipes and the photos of the completed recipes are great. Quick and Easy Recipes is an informative cookbook organized by the appliance you will use to cook the recipe - air fryer, crockpot, etc.
I just got a new air fryer so I spent extra time on that chapter and found many recipes I would like to try. I had no idea that you could cook so many different types of food in an air fryer.
I really would like to try the tuna melt for an easy Sunday night dinner. Olive and sausage meatballs are something my husband would love - he loves anything with olives. There were recipes for potatoes, chicken fingers, chips and many others that you would expect to cook in your air fryer. The mint carrots will be something we will try - we always need recipes for healthy vegetables. The recipe for salmon patties with cucumber sauce looks interesting. We will also be trying the roasted butternut squash recipe. There were dessert recipes that also sounded really good.

This cookbook was truly a delight! I enjoyed reading all of the different recipes featured in it, and they all center around foods that are relatively easy to make. I liked that pictures accompanied the recipes for the most part, but I would have liked to see a few more images featured in this cookbook. I love how the author utilized common cooking appliances (like the air fryer and waffle iron) that most people tend to have in their kitchen, I thought the author also included a nice variety of recipes in this cookbook. I really enjoyed making some of the recipes from this book, and I cannot wait to make even more of them in the future!

Thank you to NetGalley for granting me access to this book in exchange for an honest review.

I think this cookbook would be great for a busy family that needs quick meals each night. I have more time to cook and didn't really like the shortcuts that were given on each recipe, so it just wasn't for me.

This is pretty standard for a Gooseberry Patch cookbook but with some updated recipes to make use of small appliances like Instant Pots, slow cookers, air fryers, waffle irons, and standard cookware like sheet pans. A lot of these recipes aren’t ones I would try ( a lot of shortcut ingredients while I generally prefer homemade),but there are a few that look tempting and easy. I think if you are a fan of previous Gooseberry Patch cookbooks you will like this.

I love a cookbook but this one just wasn’t for me. I don’t know it was interesting it just didn’t visually grab me.

I did appreciate that it was broken down into helpful appliance sections (I.e. instant pot, waffle maker, etc.).

I’m always excited to check out a new cookbook from Gooseberry Patch. They’re always clear, simple, easy to follow, and have some of the best recipes.

Of course, when I saw a Gooseberry Patch cookbook called, QUICK & EASY RECIPES WITH HELP . . . From My Instant Pot, Air Fryer, Slow Cooker, Waffle Iron & More, I just knew I had to check it out! As always with they’re books, I’m so happy I did!

QUICK & EASY RECIPES WITH HELP breaks down it’s chapters by cooking implement. Air Fryer, Instant Pot, Slow-Cooker etc. I find this very helpful since I don’t use all the different types of equipment.

Recipes you’ll find are . . . Air Fryer - Pepperoni Pizza Sandwiches, Sweet Potato & Bacon Fries, Mini Cinnobuns . . . Instant Pot – Steak & Red Pepper Bowls, Easy Cheesy Shells, Salted Caramel Cheesecake . . . Slow-Cooker – Poppy Seed Chicken, New England Clam Chowder, Beef Burgundy Stew, Crockery Apple Ring . . . Blender – Creamy Basil Salad Dressing, Fajita & Bowties Salad Bowl, Autumn Apple Milkshake . . . Waffle Iron – Grandmother’s Waffle Cookies, Quick English Muffin Sandwiches, Jelly French Toast . . . Sheet Pan – Yummy Sausage Cups, Baja Shrimp Tacos, Cranberry-Orange Scones . . . Skillet – Southwestern Flatbread, Dixie Fried Chicken, Eva’s Fruit Cobble . . . Muffin Tin – Sweet Apple Butter Muffins, Brie Kisses, Snickerdoodle Cupcakes, and so, so many more!

I love that there are savory, and sweet recipes for each form of cooking. It makes for so many options!

I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a photo for every dish. The photos included make the food appear as though you can smell it.

QUICK & EASY RECIPES WITH HELP will be a well used addition to any cookbook collection.

Thank you to Netgalley and Gooseberry Patch for the ARC for exchange for honest review.

I found the book to be okay. Some of the recipes looked very good. It wasn't anything spectacular but it was just a standard recipe book.

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a pretty standard recipe book. I would have liked more pictures of the finished recipes. The book is broken down by device used - instant pot, air fryer, slow cooker, etc. There's a variety of recipes both sweet and savory in this book. While there's some interesting recipes, there wasn't anything in this book that really blew me away.

I loved that this promised quick and easy, and also loved that it categorized recipes by small appliance (air fryer, instapot, waffle maker, etc.), but overall, I didn't feel like there was a lot of variety in the recipes, and I didn't really feel excited by a lot of them. The pictures sometimes also felt like it wasn't really adding to it much either. I liked the concept of this, but overall, felt that the recipes as a group fell a little short of my expectations.

An ok recipe book with great photos and some cool recipes though I wish there were more different kinds of recipes

I love these Gooseberry Patch cookbooks! I have a couple previous ones that are used often!

I liked that this book had separate chapters for air fryers, Instant Pot, crock pot and waffle recipes. Everything is organized and so easy to follow along. There are helpful tips in the beginning to organize your supplies. The recipes are easy to follow, don't have weird ingredients and the photos are awesome! Check out the helpful tips and savvy shortcuts in the recipes, too - lots of great help! The Crispy Chicken Fingers recipe in the air fryer section is amazingly good! And the waffle sandwiches are fun recipes!

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a digital, temporary ARC in return for my review.

Quick & Easy Recipes with Help is a well curated collection of recipes utilizing small kitchen appliances. Due out 15th Aug 2022 from Gooseberry Patch, it's 288 pages and will be available in paperback and ebook formats. Recipes are credited for each contributor with general location.

This is a solid, down to earth, well organized cookbook full of everyday recipes which each use "kitchen helper" small appliances such as the air fryer, sheet pan preparation, slow cookers, waffle irons, instant pot type pressure cookers, etc. The recipes are arranged in chapters by which helper appliance is utilized in the recipe: air fryer, instant pot, slow cooker, blender, waffle iron, sheet pan, skillet, and muffin tin.

Recipes include an introduction description, yields, and a bullet list of ingredients in a sidebar, followed by step by step preparation directions. Ingredient measures are given in imperial (American) units. There is no included nutritional information. Each recipe includes a color picture. Serving suggestions are appetizing and appropriate. Graphically, it's a very appealing book with a very "Heartland Americana" vibe. The recipes include a lot of comfort foods and also food which would be good for potlucks and buffet dinners. The dishes pictured are professionally styled and attractive.

The book includes an index with recipes listed by category, so they're easy to find. The editors have also included a metric conversion chart in the back of the book.

Five stars. There are lots of family and crowd favorites included here. This would be a good choice for public library acquisition, for church kitchen libraries, and for folks involved with other "group gathering" activities. You could hit the family reunion for the next 20 years with the recipes in this book and never repeat a dish.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.
