Let me start by saying that Michaels knows how to weave a tale that keeps you turning pages. The setting is vividly portrayed, making you feel like you're right there in the heart of the Emerald Isle.

The characters are charming, especially our roguish hero who will make you swoon with his Irish charm. And the chemistry between him and the feisty heroine? It's electric!

But I have to admit, there were moments when the plot felt a bit predictable, like I'd seen it all before in other romance novels. And while the pacing was steady, I found myself wishing for a bit more excitement to keep me on the edge of my seat.

Overall, "Irish Rogue" is a fun read for anyone who enjoys a good romance with a side of Irish charm. It may not break any new ground, but it'll definitely leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

A quick and steamy ride.
I liked the characters and how they interact even though wasn’t my favourite with all the authority of him being the only one for her while he raked his own ducks everywhere he could until he started noticing her.
It’s a nice romance read that kept me entertaining in one afternoon and many readers will surely enjoy it as well.

He starts noticing Ashlynn, he doesn’t want her to date anybody but him, he doesn’t want her to kiss anybody but him. He realizes he loves her. He asks her to marry him. They get married.

A smoldering romance about opposites attracting. Tropes have a field day in this book about a small-town bad boy falling hard for the virgin.

Kelly McCullough has no problem getting any women he wants and there is never a short supply waiting to fall into his bed. Except there is one who is always out of his reach, Ashlynn Fisher.

Ashlynn is saving herself for marriage. She’s quiet, shy, and the complete opposite of Kelly. But Ashlynn has been in love with Kelly since she was a little girl. Ashlynn decides it is time to put her childhood crush behind her and find a man to settle down with. She is stunned when Kelly offers to help.

It is a classic love story, good steam, fast paced. It had some moments that felt too rushed, like their relationship and subsequent wedding, and it did tackle some tough issues like infertility. Both characters had their flaws and sometimes came off as immature. There was a strange jump for Kelly from being the playboy to the doting husband, but it showed his sweeter side too. There were heavy religious undertones too. for anyone who doesn't enjoy that in their romance.

Overall, a good weekend beach read.

A beautiful story of a sweet innocent girl who falls hard for the bad boy in town. Ashlynn is a hard working farmer who runs a successful farmers market and works from sun up to sun down. Kelly is the town bad boy who runs a bar and has a reputation that precedes him. When the two share a kiss, everything changes. Though they both fight it, their feelings grow stronger until they can no longer resist. Once the two are married, they find married life more difficult than expected. But together they work through their problems and face infertility together as a team. The pair learns quickly that they are stronger together and that they bring out the best in each other.

This story was a sweet, opposites attract, romance. It was an emotional read.

You have Kelly the town playboy and Ashlynn the town virgin who's never been kissed (this part was a little hard to believe for me). However the overall story was enjoyable.

I really loved how Kelly changed his ways for the love of his life and all the struggles they dealt with. I can't wait to jump into the next story.

Ashley was a naive young lady who knew what she wanted and what she wasn’t going to accept, no matter how much it hurt. These two had a long and trying journey into the realms of love, trust, and belief. It was an intoxicating, exhilarating, and enticing read where Kelly had to learn the difference between love and lust and trust. A sweet romance with too many F-Bombs dropping and a couple of vulgar words took some of the romance away. It was beautiful and sensual except for those couple of items.

Kelly McCullough is a playboy who runs through women like they're an endangered species while Ashlyn is the quintessential innocent girl who unfortunately possesses an unhealthy hankering for the bad boy.Superficially, looking at this pair, it would seem like a most unlikely and unequal coupling, but Kelly eventually redeemed himself. Both main characters got to know each other beyond the surface and learned each other's weaknesses, providing the prop needed in their weakest moments. This opposites attract story was funny and engaging and addressed the age-old moral issue of virtue before marriage. This one is another winner for this author.

This is a unique take on the twenty something virgin meets town playboy. Ashlynn grew up very sheltered, raised by her widowed father that has given her a promise ring and she intends to keep her pledge. Kelly is the fun, sexy bar owner that has quite the reputation. Their story had a lot of real life moments and doesn’t stop with their vows being made. The story travels deeper into their relationship and their marriage, highlighting the tribulations many couples face. Their story is beautifully told and the narration to the audiobook was on point. David Allan Vargo does a great job playing several roles and the sound effects were a nice touch. This book left me with a fantastic book hangover!

Another great read in this series.
One of the things I liked is that Kelly is the "bad boy" of the family and has accepted that label from his teen years and lived it out. He is confident and arrogant and yet sells himself short and doesn't believe that he has what it takes to commit to a relationship. Ashlynn sees potential in him but also doesn't see her potential and so she focuses on the "lesser" qualities, just like the rest of the town.
Watching them get to know each other and trust each other was sweet and endearing.
I also really appreciated that the author didn't have Ashlynn feel compelled or be persuaded or anything like that to stray from her committment to wait for marriage. Totally unexpected was the (view spoiler)

I received a dARC from the publisher via NetGalley; this is my honest review.

The love story of Ashlynn and Kelly began long ago: shy, introverted Ashlynn loved charismatic, Ladies' Man Kelly from afar for years; unbeknownst to her, Kelly had his own, affectionate thoughts about Ashlynn. Their roller coaster journey on the way to a Happily Ever After ultimately made their story all the sweeter.
At times the couple was a bit frustrating due to their lack of maturity. I suppose, however, that added an element of reality to this New Adult romance.
This was an enjoyable read, and Lydia Michaels has a fun writing style. I recommend this if you are looking for an easy, sensual, entertaining romance.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my own, unbiased review.

ARC Complimentary copy provided by NetGalley for an honest opinion.Another McCullough romance featuring Ashlynn and Kelly. Sometimes a woman's virtue is more cherished by the town playboy than expected. This romance fights stereotypes and misconceptions.

This is the first book I read in this series. I didn’t expect there to be so much religion all over this book. The love story was forced but was sweet. I wish it would have just ended after they got married. All the chapters on getting pregnant I found unnecessary and unbelievable.

Irish Rogue is the third book in the McCullough Mountain series and unfortunately I read them out of order, so knew how it ended. I do not recommend reading this out of order since they do build upon one another and each is like an extended epilogue of the previous book.

Ashlynn and Kelly are very cute together and I love a reformed bad boy, but the love and marriage was so quick and forced. Although I think more time passes in the book than it seems, it just felt so very rushed. There is also a very hefty dose of religion in this one, the others did as well especially Colin's story.

If you are going to read, definitely do it in order.

Irish Rouge is the third book in the McCullough Mountain series which tells the story of each of the siblings.

What do you get when you take the towns bad boy whose never met a woman he didn't get and mix it with the sheltered chaste and looking to finally date woman? Sparks... you get sparks.

Ashlynn Fisher is saving herself for marriage. She's been running her organic farm on her own and is looking at her life and realizing she's lonely. It's time to step out of her comfort zone and see what all the fuss of being girlie is. Only problem, she's been mooning over the same man for ten years and he's never given her a second glance. No time like the present to try to find someone to settle down with.
Kelly McCullough shows the world what they want to see. The sexy bartender taking home a didn't girl most nights, the carefree one whose never in it for the relationship. But that's the surface that everyone sees, he's inexplicably drawn to Ashlynn, even though he knows she's not for him, she's marriage and family, not sexy times batten the sheets. Yet when faced with her putting her sights on someone else he can't get her out of his head. What is wrong with him? Its like she's bewitched him and he's considering taking on the challenge of forever. Can the bad boy and the good girl find happily ever after?

Another sibling, another book in author Lydia Michaels’ romance series on McCULLOUCH MOUNTAIN. This one, IRISH ROGUE, follows Kelly, the brother whose interest in a good time appears to outweigh his common sense. But with this family, one member’s weakness cannot remain long unaddressed, so soon enough opportunities arise to correct past wrongs. The pleasure in this series is the author’s ability to create complex characters and engaging plots. This book is another delight in the series. I received my copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

This is the third book in the series.
Kelly McCullough has always gotten every woman he’s wanted. Of all the McCullough men, his charm and magnetism is unmatched. However, there’s one woman he cannot have. Ashlynn Fisher is saving herself for marriage. Ashlynn is everything Kelly is not. She’s quiet, shy, and—above all—virginal. But, after losing her heart to Kelly in grade school, no other man compares. When Ashlynn decides it’s time for her to find love, Kelly would realize that maybe she is the one.
I enjoyed the way this book is written. There are great sexy times and meaningful dialogs. I think celibacy and self-love are handle really good. Ashlynn can be shy and isolated, but she respects herself and wants to have sex only with her future husband. Totally fine.
I was waiting for Kelly’s book since the beginning of the series. He is sexy and funny. I don´t like the way he sees himself as someone undeserving of love and commitment, but that changes along the way.
My main issue with this story was that the characters seemed too stereotypical to me. The virgin tomboy girl. The guy who has any woman he wants but falls for the one that he can’t have. The book was a bit too predictable and obvious. I like that it talks about other things such as family issues, but I was a bit tired by the end of it.
His family is something else and I’m sure I’ll continue enjoying reading about them.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was an easy-to-devour, indulgent piece. The dynamic between the characters is animated, and I love sparring between family members.
The quiet, religious farm-girl falls in love with the enigmatic town flirt (or is it the other way around?). Opposites attract in this raw, complicated love-story. Trigger warnings include off-the-page parental death, heavy religious imagery, sexual assault, and difficulty conceiving.
The story is dramatic, compelling, and believable. It drew me in and I was enthralled.
As a non-Christian reader, I was not prepared for how heavy the Catholic imagery would be, but no points deducted as this is more personal preference than a slight against the author.
Overall I enjoyed the story and want to read more about these siblings.
