Fetish is an interesting mix of Victorian era erotica that ranges from kinky to wierd. I enjoyed the historical accuracy and the TW’s noted in each story. While some of the stories were fun - the piercings one - a few were just a bit too out there for me - the hair one comes to mind.

If you are looking for some short, dirty stories there is probably one in here that you will like.

Recommended if you are looking for a light read to mix up your reading list. It is an erotica set in the Victorian period. The context is quite interesting and the subject of taboo and finding oneself within these limitations. The writing style is good and the short stories format works well.

I had a really hard time getting into this one....I thought I would love it because of the anthology style but I kept getting pulled away and starting other books. I can't seem to make it past the first story, but may try again with a different one

I thought I had read it all l but this book made me realise that it was not the case actually !!!
There were some stories I left me more speechless than others … some of them were quite common (not at that time but still) and others were probably kinks that I was not expecting to read about …
I had fun reading those stories and reading about those very peculiar characters …
After all, as long as there’s no judgment, it’s all about each one’s privacy and respect !

This was just an okay erotica read for me being set in the Victorian era was kinda cool in its own way and some of the scenes were definitely hot and steamy but some of the other fetish like scenes didn't live up to what I had hoped for unfortunately

I requested this title purely because the premise of Victorian Taboo Erotica was so intriguing. And intriguing, this novel was indeed.

Well written, stylised perfectly for the period it is inspired by.

I did find it a little dry, which can be expected of Victorian era titles, but enjoyable nonetheless!

I have mixed feeling on this one and it is a tough one to rate. The fetish topics are varied so there are some that will inspire your imagination; others are a bit out there for my tastes. But one thing is for sure, the heat is there in varying degrees.

I liked that this book was written by multiple people also that it was historical correct to the time that was written about.

I think this book has an audience, but I found it a little hard to progress through. It caters to different fetish interests, so I think if you’re interested in exploring yourself and what’s out there more, then a book like this is great for you.

This book is full of historically set erotic short stories. It's well written and definitely has some very diverse topics/fetishes. Some of them weren't really what I prefer in these types of stories, but again that's a personal preference. I think this will still appeal to other people who feel this is right up their alley! Overall, it's fun and quick and has a little something for everyone. I recommend this for people who like to step outside of the box!

This was not what I was expecting. I enjoyed some of the stories, despite the fact that I did not realize that it was historical fiction. If you like Erotica and and Historical Fiction I think that you will enjoy this book.

This book was very well written, however, this was a not for me type of book. Not because of the subject matter but due to the time it takes place. I have recently discovered I am not a fan of historical romance. This is no fault of the authors it is my own fault for not realizing this sooner.

Not sure what I was expecting but this book was definitely out there and very strange. Guess the title should have given me pause. I couldn’t read some of the stories. Just not my interest area.

My review of Fetish. If you are someone who is looking for a period piece filled with smut this is probably a good book for you. It's full of quick shorts of smutty stories that made me chuckle while also enjoying some of the spice. Some of the phrases threw me off and then I had to remind myself this was a "historical" piece. Overall I'd say this isn't my normal go to for a book but it was fun for what it was.

I was surprised when I realized that this is kind of a historical erotica instead of a contemporary one. I was not in the mood for historical books or books set in the past at the moment of reading and I acknowledge that it contributed to me feeling bored while reading this book. The writing style on most of these stories where also so dense and hard to read in a way that it feels like it is overwritten. I wished the stories could be written in a concisely manner and just be direct to the point because all the long descriptions and dialogues are just not doing it for me.

I had mixed thoughts on this book. The material was in line with the quality of short erotic stories on the market, being well written and with some story line structure.

The setting based in the 19th century was hard to contextualize. i found this difficult to get over, but may be my personal tastes.

I did enjoy some stories more than others but, if you want to read an historical erotic anthology with a plethora of different fetishes and kinks (also very diverse) then this will be right up your alley.

I loved this. I devoured it!!! I love a short story that examines new or different kinks/fetishes and this anthology did this with such care even explaining the trigger warnings was handled in such a loving and caring way that I knew instantly I’d be in good hands throughout. I loved the historical aspect of the book and how all the relationships were handled.

Some of the kinks were super intense some a more playful side and each was handled so well and so fairly.

Also this was HOT! While not all the of the subjects were ones I identify with I loved all of the stories and would love to read more stories!
