I have not read the first five books in this series. I don't know if that hurt me or not. I enjoyed every bit of this book though. Really loved the main character Alexi. I think I would like to go back and read the others in the series.

I was intrigued by this one, I like to read a variety of different books and this was certainly something different.

I found the writing to be a little stiff and as such the story didn't flow as well as it could and the steamy scenes came across a little awkward. There was variety in the steam so i guess there’s something for everyone but this one probably wasn’t for me. I do think this will appeal to erotica readers.
