Another person who is morally bankrupt but thinks he thinks he is better than everyone else even his clients. A good story that goes along with the other two books.

This is the third book in the Desire Card series and as always I was immediately drawn into the story. I love the fast pace and short chapters that really keep the story moving and make it hard to put down. Will Harrison get a new liver? What are the consequences for using the Desire Card? What will happen to his family? These are the questions that had me reading late into the night to get to the incredible conclusion. This is one of my favorite series ever and I'm eagerly awaiting Book Four!

Thank you to Netgalley for providing this book in exchange of an honest review.

All Sins Fulfilled is the third installment of the Desire Card Series by Lee Goldberg. I did not read the other two installments, so I did not know what to expect.

Harrison Stockton is middle aged, overweight and living a life full of excess. He has a high powered, well paying job. However, Harrison starts to lose it all - his marriage, his job, his health. How far would he go to restore it all?

Desperate times call for desperate situations. Harrison's life is turned upside down as he negotiates the consequences of his actions.

I did not find Harrison a completely likable character, however, I was rooting for him. I liked the twists, turns, and surprises along the way. I liked that the book did not end neatly, with a perfect ending to wrap up all the ties.

Four stars!

For me, this book was just okay. I didn't find myself connected to any of the characters, but I had hoped it was going to pull me in at some point, but it didn't.

This one doesn’t have the same feel as the first two in the series. In fact, The Desire Card was far from being central in this story to the point where I forgot it was part of the series at all. While the Desire Card did play a part, I feel much of the issues this man had really had nothing to do with his being a client at the Desire Card. He just sucked.

But then Part Three arrived and I felt like I was back in the world of the desire card. While I understand the route that was taken by the author to get here, I’d have preferred more of a summary leading up to this part over the two parts it took to get here.

Maybe I was spoiled by books one and two with their action and mystery. This one is definitely more subdued in comparison and the predictability left a lot to be desired (see what I did there?) Even with the “revelation” that came about in the final part, I gotta say it just didn’t do it for me - I saw that coming a mile away.

Will I continue the series? Heck yes I will. This one was a miss for me, but I can see the potential and how others would really appreciate this side of the Desire Card. It just wasn’t what I needed in this story.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of this book.

I went in not knowing what to expect, and I am so glad I read this book! It is an "edge of your seat" thriller, that poses the question, "what price would you pay to get what you want?" I loved the premise of the book, and can't wait to read more from this author.

Loved this book- a novel idea and hard to put down! It was well written and very exciting with lots of twists! The main character begins by just wanting a little excitement in his like and he gets it in spades! He finds a card that says all his desires will be fulfilled- I’ll leave it at that.

I think maybe if I had read the first 2 books to this before this one, I might of better understood what was going on, but honestly I just couldn’t get into this book and I had to force myself to finish it.

This is the second of the series that I have read and I like it better than the other. I am not sure of. the order, but I have now read the 2nd and 3rd.

The story starts with an out of shape man carrying a suitcase being chased through Central Park. Then he gets caught. The book continues with the events that lead to that moment. We learn that the man works on Wall Street, is a serious alcoholic, and basically not a like-able guy. He hits a new low when he starts spewing blood and passes out when spending the night with a prostitute. She brings him to a hospital where he learns that his lover is shot and he will die without a replacement.

I liked this. I was pretty unhappy with the ending, but then it took a turn at the very last minute and redeemed itself. The middle was a little slow, but the beginning and end carried it well.

“All Sins Fulfilled,” The third book in Goldberg’s Desire Card series, takes on the organization from an entirely different angle than the first two books in the series. Rather than follow an operative, this novel follows the experiences of a client, one whose wishes are fulfilled. Once again, we get someone down on his luck at the end of his rope. It’s Harrison, a Wall Street trader who thinks he’s one of the masters of the universe before his legs are cut out from under him and it all falls away- the job, the marriage, the morals.

All he has left is a card with a phone number which leads him to do things beyond morally bankrupt. Of course, as anyone who has ever had a genie in a bottle knows, wishes never come out the way you expect them to and someone somewhere has to pay the price. You know early in what Harrison’s ultimate request will be and you’ll guess who has to be sacrificed for it to come true. Nevertheless, you will feel his shock and horror at where this leads.

Ultimately perhaps this is a story of Redemption, but you begin to wonder if the clients are suckers too, caught in the Boss’s twisted web just as much as the masked operatives are.
