This was another of Katee Robert's retelling of Greek mythology, Cassandra and Apollo. I enjoyed this story but it wasn't my favorite. The ending left a lot to be desired. It felt like this book was written solely as a prequel to the next installment in the series. Some of the descriptions made it sound like Apollo wasn't really all that good at his job and Cassandra was the mastermind that made things happen. I enjoyed this book but felt unhappy with the ending.

Passion. Intrigue. Sexyness. Cut-thorat politics. Olympus dynamics. Greek Mythology. These were all the things I was expecting from this book. And I can assure you that Katee Robert has delivered on all of them. Like always, her stories are incredible enjoyable, and there is a depth to the characters that makes you want to keep on reading and fighting the odds with them. and don’t even get me started on the politics of Olympus. These are just to die for, and we always have a sense of urgency underlying the whole plot that makes the story extremely easy to read. In this case, we have Apollo, our dear Apollo which we have met a couple of times before. In this story we get to see the real Apollo. A caring man that wants power and is one of the thirteen, but has a tender heart for his assistant, Cassandra Gataki. Cassandra for her part, has learned to live as an outcast of the legacy families of Olympus after her parents died in a tragic accident. But she knows there was nothing tragic about that accident, and that they were murdered because they tried to kill one of the thirteen. So she had to take care of her younger sister, become the adult and help keep all the nasty stares and comments of the elite from her. In order to make ends meet, she becomes Apollo’s assistance, and somehow, she becomes indispensable for his operation. From the start, you can feel the tension from both of them, and the fact that there are feelings from both sides but not one of them is willing to take the leap and let the other know. Thank the gods for dual point of views, because it helps give us insight of what is happening in both their heads, and I love the story much more thanks to it. Their romantic relationship develops at a pace that I enjoyed, and that was clearly a culmination of years of hidden feeling that explodes in great passion.

Like always, Katee Robert did give us great scenes that I was left panting afterwards. However, there was a tenderness to both of them that I absolutely enjoyed seeing, especially in a world where everything is about getting ahead. The main plot starts when Apollo is invited to a week-long house party of a dangerous new player in the game of Olympus, and Apollo needs to go there to uncover the secrets there. But he knows that on his own, he would never be able to uncover what they need, and gets a reluctant Cassandra to go with him, on the condition that after this, she is given the money and the means for Cassandra and her sister to leave Olympus for good – something she has been wanting to accomplish for a long time. And with that, great players we know, and love enter the mix: Hermes, Dionysus, Aphrodite, and many others, creating a sense of intrigue of what is really going on in this house party. The plot itself becomes engaging and easy to follow, and a book you can devour in one sitting. It’s a sexy M/F romance that has the spice you need, the love and comfort you wanted, and the tense plot that keeps you going.

I love all things Dark Olympus but holy crap, Dark Olympus plus old fashioned house party intrigue? Perfection. Every time I think I have a new favorite Olympus pairing/grouping, I have to admit a new love with each new book. Radiant Sin has every awesome trademark of a Katee Robert book: hot, steamy scenes, fascinating new characters, and plenty of twists and turns. This was phenomenal and so freaking fun to read.

Woah, this was hot! Kattee Roberts can do no wrong when it comes to smutty retellings. I hope she continues in this series.

I love Katee Robert and Radiant Sin is no exception. Her blend of lesser known figures in Greek mythology and modern elements is peak entertainment. The story stands on its own and the added spice is perfect. Will always recommend.

A wonderful next chapter of the Dark Olympus series! This is a friends to lovers trope with a hint more kink. I absolutely loved it! Apollo is the Head of Information or Spymaster for the Thirteen. She has been his right hand for years as well as an outcast but makes connections that he sometimes misses. Can he get her to stay when all she wants to do is leave?

Katee Robert does it again! I enjoyed the setting of the party and learning about the new Olympus infiltrators. I can't wait for her next books in the series to see how she incorporates mythology. Adult audiences but wonderful storytelling!

While not necessary to read in order, there is an over-arching story and it is really a more integral part of this installment. The story of Apollo and Cassandra is good, but I'm loving what is going on with the larger Olympus and what is going to happen in the next book.

Katee Robert is always going to be one of my comfort authors and this series is definitely my favorite of hers. Can't wait to have access to the entire séries.

I feel like a broken record leaving reviews of Katee Robert's books, because I'm just never going to not like one of them. I love the Dark Olympus series and I want it to go on forever, end of story.

Katee Robert consistently delivers. Boss x Assistant trope can be difficult, but Cassandra is written as independent and smart rather than meek/weak-willed like so many other authors do with this trope. Mix that with Greek Myth retelling (as it’s part of the Dark Olympus series) and you have yourself a winner. Also love how Robert is ramping up the larger plot line of what’s coming for Olympus. Cannot wait for the next installment.

I fell in love with Katee Robert when I read Neon Gods, and have since then been making my way through her entire backlist of work plus trying to keep up with her current releases. And since her Dark Olympus series is a favorite of mine, I knew I was going to love Radiant Sin no matter what.

Boy oh boy was I not disappointed! Was the smut between Cassandra and Apollo a bit less frequent than in previous books? Yes, but it was just as hot as the smut in other books. Did Radiant Sin go hard on the politics and leave us with a bunch of questions as to what the freaking hell is going on? Absolutely, and I am here for the deeper world building that Katee brought to us with this addition to the series, because while I am all in for spicy books that are more of a 'plot, what plot?' variety, I do also really, really enjoy when my spice comes with a delicious side of political intrigue and mindfuckery.

I cannot wait to devour Cruel Seduction to hopefully find the answers to some of my many, many questions.

Thank you to SourceBooks and NetGalley for the ARC!

Some of the best fantasysmut books out there. I love a good retelling, and this one was a lot of fun. Not the greatest quality literature by any means, but the spice was ,,, chefs kiss.

I loved this book so much. I thought the development of the B plot that was introduced in Wicked Beauty was so well done. And I cannot wait to see it expanded in the upcoming books (especially Cruel Seduction). Office romances - especially boss/assistant romances - are extremely tricky. But Katee Robert was able to navigate it so well. And who doesn't love fake relationship/only one bed situation. Fantastic read, please give me more now.

Although this is a filler book in the grand scheme of the series, I adored Cassandra and think she's one of the strongest female mc's. I also loved the mystery aspect which is something new! I cannot wait to continue.

Katee does it again! The Neon Gods series has been on my radar from the first book's publication in 2021. I love the spice in Olympus, and the spice surrounding the Thirteen. I just can't get enough of it!
In Radiant Sin, Katee brings to life the story of Cassandra and Apollo. It has the least amount of spice, in the series, but I loved it anyway. Apollo and Cassandra were exactly what I hoped they would be. In fact, Cassandra proved to be my favorite character in the series. Her confidence and overall feelings about the Thirteen were refreshing. I cannot wait to see what else Katee has in store for Olympus!

I enjoyed this book in the Dark Olympus series. The spy/undercover aspect was fun, I’m always down for a little subterfuge. Overall, this one felt a little less about the spice than the other books in the series so far. Not a bad thing, and it allowed for building the relationship in other ways which I liked. Definitely looking forward to more in this series!

I love Katee Robert books. This series is full of spice, mystery and suspense. The way she world builds is amazing.

I really loved Katee’s other books , but unfortunately I didn’t really connect with it. This was relatively slower paced in comparison to the others.
