The story had my interest in the first half but kind of fizzled out midway, which is a shame because I do love Apollo and Cassandra both individually and together.

Most intrigued by Aphrodite's book (next one in the series).

This spicy romance is a wonderful addition to the Dark Olympus series. Work place romance meets murder mystery as Apollo and Casandra work together to discover the secret plot of those that threaten the safety and known world of Olympus.

This was so good! Kind of. I really don’t know. I was so confused I didn’t add a rating. It was like I liked it, because of technical reasons…. But I also didn’t care for it because if I didn’t know the stories, I would have been like ehhh this is just ok.

This is always weird to me with retellings. I never know how to rate them because of weird little things. And for this one, the discrepancies were kind of big. The thing I praised was the fact that I was able to pick out all the places that the myth was addressed. It was actually really cool the way she incorporated it into a story. I can admit I was a little on the fence when I first heard about it. But I needn’t have worried. Katee Robert is a beast and was super creative telling a story that so many people have heard before.

Now, in that same vein, this is where I was disappointed. Katee Robert is the GOAT at what she does. But this just wasn’t up to par with her others? Maybe because the whole time reading this I was still thinking about Book 2 and 3, but whatever it was, I just didn’t like this one as much as the others. (Book 2 is still my favorite) Maybe it was the boss/worker trope, but I just didn’t care for it. I DID like the fake dating part tho.

The ending also saved it for me. It was just ok the whole time, but once they entered the place where they were going, it got infintely better. I was invested. But by then I was stuck. It was like as soon as things started happening they didn’t stop. But of course, that’s when it just stopped. And this one has a bit of a cliff-hanger. It’s a tiny one, but I still want to know what they decided. Like Katee you could’ve at least given us THAT. But it’s ok because I have the e-ARC of Cruel Seduction anyway sooooooooo lol

The audio of this was so legit. I enjoyed it so much! Which is so weird because Alex is usually a hit or miss for me. I usually like when he makes his voice a little lighter for different roles, but for whatever reason when he’s Hades in Book 1 I was not a fan. Maybe he’s growing. and for that I say congrats! I hope he stays this way. Zara was still awesome! The two of them together is becoming a great pair!

This wasn’t my favorite, but I still liked it for the most part. Would I use this book to convince someone to read this series? No. Will I read this one again when I inevitably re-read the series? Yes. There are some piviotal scenes in this book that you can’t miss, but with Robert’s writing style and the great narration team, this is definitely something you can’t miss.

Im not sure why i can't enjoy this series by Katee Roberts more (greek god trope in romance being overused) but this story felt as if I had already read it before but written by another author.

I really liked how this book continues the world of Olympus and sets up the potential for more intrigue with how it ends, and the internal struggles that Cassandra goes through were nice to read. I thought that there could have been more depth given and time spent on both Cassandra’s and Apollo’s pasts, since it obviously impacted them with where they were during the story but we never quite get all of the information. I also thought that the pacing of the plot was a bit off, with nothing really happening until right at the end and then the book finished rather abruptly. But I did enjoy the setting and how characters that we have grown familiar with played such vital roles or made appearances in this latest novel in the series.

The fourth book in the deliciously reimagined Dark Olympus series brings us the love story of Apollo and Cassandra. Apollo, the seeker of information for Olympus, and Cassandra, who works for him and has a deep dislike of the thirteen and the dark underbelly of the city (for reasons).

Readers met Minos and his family in the previous installment, now he wants sanctuary for them in Olympus and citizenship. Zeus wants him to give up information on where he came from and what kind of danger he poses to the thirteen. Apollo is tasked with attending a house party given at Minos’s estate and ferreting out information on his background and future plans. Cassandra accepts Zeus’s offer of enough money to get her and her sister out of Olympus if she’ll accompany him. This leads to a dangerous mission and lots and lots of sexytimes.

This book felt like it was a bridge of a sort between the last three books and the rest of the series. Big things have been happening, from Hades making himself known again, to Ares securing her title and power in the city, not to mention the introduction of new characters, but it all kind of comes together here in Radiant Sin. All of the players in the next several books make appearances and readers will get glimpses into their personalities and ambitions. Yes, I REPEATEDLY visited his author’s website to see which upcoming books featured which pairings so I could kind of wrap my head around the relationship and power dynamics.

It doesn’t take long for Apollo and Cassandra to fall into bed with each other, I mean they’ve been hot for each other for five years. The forced proximity got to them and sharing a bed without making whoopie was never going to happen. This author knows how to write a scorchingly hot sex scene and it’s always done with thought, care, and consent. There is an added air of danger because of their quest, and the “shhhh, be quiet or we’ll be caught” scenes were a nice bonus. I liked Cassandra and Apollo, but they weren’t my absolute favorite couple. I think this series has me primed for bad boys and tough women, and they felt kind of, dare I say, normal to me. Smart, hot for each other, but just normal.

I will admit to being a little bit more intrigued by the mystery of Minos and what he was planning than the developing relationship between the MCs. And I didn’t understand what was about to happen until right before the big climax. This new development means big things to come in the overall series plot arc and I am excited, to say the least. Especially for the next book in the series, it’ll be interesting to see how she redeems a certain main character who did some pretty shitty things in the past two books. We’ll see.

Received an ARC for an honest review.

Oh man this was fun. All the heat of the Dark Olympus books that we love, but with a Clue/And Then There Were None twist. I loved watching Apollo and Cassandra fake date and then realise that they couldn't keep how they really felt under wraps much longer. The love scenes were hot (as always with Katee) and the story was just fun. We caught up with some of our previous MCs and the groundwork has been laid for some truly chaotic fun coming up. I'm fully enamoured of the stories we've been getting, but I'm loving the way that these books are tying together and getting more political. Seeing a throughline through the next books will be a lot of fun.

I've loved this series so far, and this was no exception, though it had a different feel to it. Though the insidious Olympus schemes are still happening all around them, Cassandra & Apollo's relationship felt more...sweet to me than I expected from this world. I liked the reverse grumpy sunshine aspect here, though Apollo still brought the spice when they finally gave into each other. The secluded setting outside the city was interesting, and the actual mystery of Midas is revealed more.

Overall, this was a good installment. I only felt that the Big Obstacle holding Cassandra back was wrapped up super quickly, and she also didn't really hold a "friend" (in the interest of no spoilers) accountable for the danger she was put in. I honestly want to see this character get some kind of comeuppance. Even though this is a cutthroat world, the foundations have now started to crumble with their double cross. It'll be interesting to see where this leads next.

As a huge fan of Katee Robert and the series she has created, I am always counting down to the next Dark Olympus book and Radiant Sin was one of my most anticipated releases of the year!

Radiant Sin was everything I did not know I needed, of course with it being a Katee Robert book there was spice and it was greatly written per usual and just delightful! But this book was also tender and sweet I thought, Cassandra and Apollo were so caring for each other and it was heartwarming. They still had me kicking and screaming with wither little banter and just how perfect they matched up. Cassandra has easily become one of my favorite leading ladies in the series, she was just smart and witty and everything I love to see in a leading lady!

Overall, my favorite thing about Radiant Sin was that it had great spice but also had a really intriguing story line to keep me hooked and it was just a good balance between the two! Katee Robert always delivers and I cannot wait for the next book in the series!

This was another great book in the Dark Olympus series. Apollo and Cassandra were both likable and the book was a softer read than the previous book. It had a bit of mystery and a lot of wonderful romance.

First a thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

Radiant Sin follows Cassandra and Apollo in Katee Robert's fourth book in Dark Olympus series and while the steamy romance is on par with what fans of the series will expect, the plot falls very short. The connection between Apollo and Cassandra is passable but unfortunately the murder mystery games that take place at Minos' estate during the majority of the book leave the storyline incredibly scattered and tend to focus on all of the other characters in place of the love interests. Overall, the book felt unfinished, the characters all felt very emotionally immature, and the main characters needed something more to emphasize their connection.

I honestly couldn't finish this book, but that might be my own fault. I read Neon Gods and enjoyed it, but this fell flat to me after Neon Gods. I didn't buy the chemistry between Cassandra and Apollo; it felt rushed and forced. Sometimes I forgot this was a fake romance trope because it seemed in the background of other world building. The world building is another essential factor of this story; I have not read every Dark Olympus novel and if you haven't, like me you will be lost many times throughout this novel. I liked Cassandra as a confident plus sized heroine and Apollo being mixed race; it was nice to see a more representative and contemporary take on Greek characters, including Hermes, etc. From my understanding, the last novel really started the world building and this continues the trend, so if you're a fan of the world of Dark Olympus, this novel is 100% for you. As for the characters, it's definitely a slow burn it felt like between Cassandra and Apollo. I personally found Apollo and uninteresting character compared to Cassandra. I also wasn't a fan he's her boss and has been secretly lusting after her for an indefinite amount of time. While he's never acted on it, it's suggested he gives her preferential treatment over his other employees. I found it "okay." I'll go back and read the other novels and maybe I'll feel definitely, but it didn't hit the same way as Neon Gods.

This is the first book I had read by Katee Robert and I was a little worried about my ability to pick up in the middle of a series, which I don't normally do. I shouldn't have been concerned at all, because each book is a standalone and has plenty of information contained within to clue me in on anything I may be missing.

This book was delicious from beginning to end. I loved the relationship between Apollo and Cassandra, and the tension-building was perfection. I'm a total sucker for a good fake-boyfriend, forced-proximity trope and Robert really delivered. The spice, the romance, the dialogue, the world building was all perfection. I highly recommend it! Of course, now I have to read everything else she's ever written!

Love this series!! Apollo and Cassandra may not seem like they should fit, but after years of working together and pinning for each other, they do. When fake dating is in Olympus, you know drama is bound to follow.
I love this unique series and the take of the 13. I'm looking forward to reading more.

This is the third Dark Olympus book I've read (I skipped Electric Idol accidentally). I would classify these books more as mafia romance than mythology retelling romances, as the gist of the stories are very far from the myths (thank heavens, as Apollo ruins Cassandra's life in the myth).
Things I loved:
Apollo. He was such a kind, soft soul and was a good guy in a world filled with morally gray characters.
Cassandra. I LOVE me a heroine who starts off unlikable, lol.
The thriller-esque setting of the house party. As someone who also reads thrillers, I liked the creepy house party setting and the "What's going to happen next" feel throughout.

Overall, I found this to be a very enjoyable dark romance read. The kink is nothing too shocking and very gentle throughout.
I am SUPER curious about the next book, given I know the pairing and how this one ended.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing a review copy.

Katee Robert is known for her erotic romance reads how ever with Radiant Sin I felt like the romance took a back seat and it was more of a high stakes mystery clue game novel with an undertone of romance. With Radiant Sin we get a major propulsion of the overall series ARC while we started to see that develop in Wicked beauty. The explosive ending will instantly leave readers wanting to know what happens next . While I loved the main hero and heroine of the book the true win was the overall development and propellment of the series Arc.

One of the slowest Katee Robert burns I’ve read. Cassandra and Apollo know how to pine for each other like champs! I really enjoyed how to the storyline or Olympus was moved along. We learned a lot about different characters and how Olympus is going to change with the introduction of a few more.

Apollo and Cassandra’s romance was spicy and the attraction between them could be felt from the pages. At times, Cassandra was a little too headstrong for my liking but Apollo was perfect for her. This book does provide more of an idea of where Olympus is headed and has you looking forward to the remainder of the books in this series. Radiant Sin has several tropes, two of my favorites are fake dating and one bed.

“This man is everything. I nod shakily. Of course I want more. I want it all, no matter how ill advised. Apollo is a fire in my blood, and he might burn me alive, but I’ll strike the match happily as long as he doesn’t stop touching me.”

“I open my eyes to find Apollo staring down at me like he just found his favorite gift beneath the Christmas tree, but he’s afraid it’s not truly meant for him.”

Katee Robert is a goddess!!! I have loved all of the books in the Dark Olympus series thus far. They are a perfect combination of spice and fantasy-realism. This one with Apollo and Cassandra hits just a little different. I really enjoyed Cassanadra. This realistically, is the first character we've met that doesn't have too many times to the leaders of DO. Her perspectives were unique and I really loved how elements of her myth with Apollo make it's way into the story. That has always been incredibly crucial to this series, but as someone who doesn't read too much on Apollo it was a fun little research point for me.

I thought the plot was well done too. I mean the mystery touch combined with more of darker elements all of these books tends to have just lends a lot of props to Katee Robert's writing ability. I'm really excited to read the next few especially as we start to revisit characters (I'm looking at the Hera and Zeus book specifically) but overall, really loved the story and the characters. It's a great addition to the overall series.

Thank you NetGalley for the DRC! This is an erotic contemporary romance inspired by Greek mythology. This installment of Katee Robert's Dark Olympus series, focuses on Apollo and Cassandra. Cassandra is from a disgraced Olympus family who works for Apollo, one of the thirteen. Tropes include, alpha hero, fake dating, forced proximity, forbidden love. During the story of the relationship, more of the background plot surrounding the city of Olympus develops.
