I was a little nervous going into this book since I didn't enjoy Wicked Beauty as much as the two books before it, but I ended up enjoying this one!

I really liked Cassandra and Apollo together. Their chemistry was evident and it was cute that they'd both been secretly crushing on each other during all these years of working together.

I liked that this book had a murder mystery vibe to it. It was interesting trying to figure out what was going on and who was behind everything. It was hard to know who you can trust. I'm interested in finding out who the bigger threat is that's looming over everyone and getting some answers about what is going on with the barrier.

*I was provided an audio version of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I loved both of the narrators, Zara Hampton-Brown and Alex Moorcock. They both did a great job of bringing the characters to life and giving each character a unique voice.

Thank you to Netgalley, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and Ms. Roberts for the opportunity to read an ARC of this title. An honest review was requested but not required.

Katee Robert’s Dark Olympus series has been a big success in my opinion. I’m a Greek mythology fan and I love to see how Ms. Roberts reinterprets the original myths for these more contemporary romantic versions. The last book, Wicked Beauty, was a masterful recombination of Achilles, Patroclus, and Helen’s original mythological origins and more current characterization. Therefore I was really looking forward to seeing how Ms. Robert would reimagine the prophetess Cassandra, who (mythologically speaking) was a devotee of Apollo’s [still true!] and was cursed to speak truth but never be believed. And: WOW. This was even better than I had hoped.

This Cassandra is a full-figured dynamo acting as administrative assistant to Apollo, the only person who would hire her after her parents committed a major scandal years prior. She’s trying to save up money to get out of Olympus and give her sister a better life free of judgement and full of opportunity. And, of course, she has the major hots for her boss. Her mythological true prophesying manifests as unerring instincts about other people, which is increasingly helpful to Apollo (who “deals in information.” Sort of like a combination of a detective agency and spycraft, although I believe information dealing also falls within Hermes’ purview and spycraft within Ares’. In short: I’m not exactly sure what Apollo does but frankly we’re all here for Cassandra so it’s easy to overlook).

The new Zeus tasks Apollo with attending Minos’ house party (also featuring Theseus and the Minotaur, quasi-villains in Wicked Beauty) to find out more about Minos’s motives. Apollo elects to take Cassandra along as his plus one to help him figure things out due to her people-reading instincts and ability to get others to talk. OF COURSE being each other’s plus one means they have to fake-date, which is (when deployed correctly) one of my fav tropes. Cassandra’s years of proximity to Apollo has laid the groundwork for not only a sort of friendship but also sown the seeds of a blistering dual attraction. We all know how fake dating ends; the excitement is in the journey. Plenty of Robert’s signature spice, coupled with (pun intended) a really strange house party and nefarious motives makes Radiant Sin a lot of fun. And, to tie things back to the original myths, Cassandra’s increasing unease about the party and what Minos’s plans are (A) absolutely correct and (B) roundly ignored. I really loved the way the modern story dovetailed with the mythological roots in this installment, while staying true to the overall storyline. This series continues to be excellent.

This isn’t to say that I wasn’t a little distracted by Ariadne (whom I’d love to see featured) and of course the teaser scene at the end (no spoilers!) was also an instant must-read… but I would be less than honest if I didn’t admit that I AM WAITING FOR ZEUS AND HERA AND I JUST KNOW SHE’S SAVING IT FOR LAST AND IT IS KILLING. ME.

Ahem.

Highly recommended.

Katee does it again with another Dark Olympus book that’s impossible to put down. Cass is exactly that type of headstrong female lead I love. Strong with a secret soft interior that is a perfect match for Apollo.

I came across Neon Gods, the initial book of this series a few weeks ago. The pace was great and the sexy parts were volcanic so yes, I read the others in the series, Wicked Beauty and Electric Idol and anxiously looked forward to reading Radiant Sin.

As a lover of Greek mythology, I always want to see a new twist on the myths and legends I've read about over the years and this is one sexy, sexy series.

Radiant Sin covers the stories of Apollo and Cassandra. He's her boss and she's the daughter of the two people who tried to commit treason a decade ago, but that doesn't mean they aren't pining for each other hard.

They are thrown into a forced proximity/one bed situation as they attend a weekend party thrown by the newest citizen of Olympus, Minos. In Wicked Beauty, we find out Minos is pretty shady, but he's got the deets on someone who's even worse.

The worse shadowy character plans to overthrow the present Olympic board by any means necessary, including murder a member of the Olympians.

But back to Apollo and Cassandra--they are HOT. They have a passionate, caring intensity with each other as they both care deeply for one another's well being. Apollo's admiration of Cassandra's strengths is swoon worthy and Cassandra's determination to discover who's said shadowy character only enforces why Apollo loves her.

I love these two characters and hope to read them again.

Katee Robert did an outstanding job creating Apollo and Cassandra. I enjoyed this Advanced Reader Copy given to me by the publisher for an honest review.

Thank you Sourcebooks for the sneak peek.

This is my favorite/the best so far from the Olympus series. It was a great romance, but I also really loved the plot! I never lost interest throughout the entire book and there were even a couple twists that got me. I’m really intrigued in the Hermes aspect.

It gets a 5/5 from me! Thank you for the opportunity to read and review Radiant Sin.

I received a free ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. This is the 4th book in the Dark Olympus series, and it keeps getting better. The attention to world building is impressive with intertwining characters and storylines which seamlessly flow from book to book. I love that Katee has taken these famous characters from Greek myth and placed them in a very modern world. I really enjoyed Apollo and Cassandra as a couple- to me they make sense together and balance one another. She gives him a purpose outside of work and he allows her to want something just for herself after years of taking care of her sister. That being said, those familiar with Katee’s other work, may be disappointed at the lower level of heat compared to her other work. I didn’t personally have an issue with this, but I suspect others might. This book did feel like it was perhaps more focused on moving the plot line of the series forward (I’m not complaining) than some of the others which focus more on the couple than the plot- especially compared to the first book in the series. Overall, I enjoyed it and can’t wait to see what happens next.

I adore this series and while this isn't my favorite book in the series, yes I will buy it and yes I am already ready for the next one. Katee Robert is a wonderful writer and her books always beautiful - full of diverse characters, plots, consent, and all type of love. This book is no exception. The characters are multifaceted and dimensional and the plot moves quickly but with twists I was pushing to guess.

I feel like this book is more about pushing the overarching series plot forward more than some of the other books which are a bit more on the standalone romance. I always enjoying trying to still what myths and references I can catch as I go through since none of them are used in the typical way and there are once again so many (Pan, Adriane, Adonis, etc).

I love the worlds that Katee Robert has made and I can't wait to return to Olympus as soon as I can.

I continue to love this series. I am invested in the political plot of these books, and can't wait for the next one, but also...the romance? I enjoyed how much these two loved each other. The spice was hot, as usual. The setting is super fun. I like how each of the books so far have played with different vibes. Love fake dating. Love a murder mystery vacation.

Rating: 3.5 ⭐️

Radiant Sin was a fairly enjoyable read; it’s a modern retelling of Apollo and Cassandra.

This is also the fourth book in the Dark Olympus series, so there are a lot of crossover characters and storylines. So I would highly recommend just reading the prior books first for better context and backstory on certain plot points.

It is dual POVs of the main characters, Apollo and Cassandra, and there’s the fake dating, close proximity and boss-employee romance trope. I also suggest checking the content and trigger warnings before reading just in case.

The overall pacing of the story was quite slow and there was a lot of repetitive dialogue. The murder mystery aspect while intriguing at times just fell a bit flat, as nothing significant happened until the very end. I will say though, this book was definitely a lot lighter than the previous books in the series and actually sets up a lot of the story for the future books in the series, which was quite interesting.

The spice between Apollo and Cassandra was definitely the main highlight of this book for me. Just so passionate, spicy and hot. I also really loved the mutual pining between them and all the history they had. However, I would have liked a bit more development between them, as they progressed from colleagues to lovers quite fast.

The last few chapters were great as a lot of information was revealed and sets up the story for the next book. The conclusion was quite nice as well.

Overall, not my favorite in the series but still an okay read.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Katee Robert has done it once again in the fourth book of the Dark Olympus Series. This pairing was an interesting spin on the dynamic of going from coworkers to lovers. More characters are introduced with more world building and background added. The ending was unexpected twist but it leads into the next book in the series.

I really don't know why I keep reading these books, because I honestly couldn't care less about the plot and I find it a bit ridiculous.

Ok scratch that...I know why I keep reading these. For the excellent smut. Compared to the last book, it was a lot tamer, but it was actually really sweet and more of a 'romance'.

Couldn't tell you anything about what happened between those scenes.

Every time I think that I’ve found my favorite book of the Dark Olympus series, the next book comes out and I have a new favorite.
Katee Robert does not miss with Radiant Sin. I absolutely love Cassandra’s character and where can I find my own Apollo?!
The pacing is great and the story was giving me murder mystery/Ready or Not vibes and I adored every second of it. I wish it lasted longer.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this incredible addition by Katee Robert!

Katee Robert is damn good at what she does! Robert always brings the heat, and the overarching plot of the Dark Olympus series is developing a truly respectable level of intrigue. (It's an old joke to say one reads romance for the plot but .... lowkey the plot SLAPS.) Cassandra and Apollo are an easy to love duo, and the hurt/comfort is delicious. Already impatient for the next one!!

Things are heating up in Olympus following the tournament that crowned the latest Ares. Minos and his family have promised important information concerning the looming threat to the city in exchange for citizenship. Zeus and his spymaster, Apollo, feel like something is what it seems. When Minos hosts a week long house party, Apollo has no choice but to attend and bring his most trusted employee, Cassandra, with him. Cassandra has spent years trying to avoid the stigma her parents’ greed brought upon their family during a power hungry plot that went wrong. It quickly becomes clear that treachery is afoot at the party and no one is safe.

Cassandra and Apollo are so stubborn and tender. Watching them interact throughout this book made me want to throw it because they’re both so self sacrificing. As always the steam is on point, the plot twists are twisting, and I can’t wait for book 5!

This was my first Katee Robert title and my my was it fun. I didn't even make it halfway through this book without deciding to order the rest of the books in this series and a few of her other titles.

The pacing was great, and the romance was enjoyable. There's a balance between the general story and the physical part of the romance which I think a lot of readers will appreciate.

This book was absolute fire!! The physical and emotional connection between Apollo and Cassandra was blatantly obvious, and the storyline was really enthralling, too.

Ma’am I don’t what you put in this book but it’s CRACK!!!! I devoured this in a single sitting!

I’ve loved the Dark Olympus series from the beginning but man oh man this one came in throwing hands for that number one spot. Apollo is always one of my fav Greek gods and the way that Katee did him??? *chefs kiss*

I loved the mystery aspect with half of the thirteen being thrown into a game of clue. We’ve got a body in the parlorrrrr. Cassandra and Apollos relationship was incredibly well written and oooff fake dating🤤

We can’t forget the spiceeee this was some of Katee’s best written spice in the series so far… maybe even ever.. I mean 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

Radiant Sin is the latest entry in Robert's Dark Olympus series and tells the story of Apollo and Cassandra. Apollo is one of Olympus's Thirteen and has the role of spymaster while Cassandra is his longtime assistant. Both of them have been pining for each other for years but refuse to make a move for different reasons. Apollo is surprisingly sweet, not wanting to take advantage of his employee while Cassandra wants nothing to do with the thirteen because of her family's murky past. However when enemies from the previous book resurface they are ordered by Zeus to fake a relationship in order to get more information while they attend parties and events.

The plot moves quickly and the mystery of Minos's family definitely sets up future books in the series. The romance between Apollo and Cassandra is also sweet and has some familiar romance novel tropes (fake dating, only one bed) but Robert spices it up as well. I also loved getting to revisit some favorite characters and seeing Helen in her role as Ares is great.

My one issue and this has come up before is the endings are always a little abrupt. Maybe I'm too conditioned by the romance novel epilogue which is a staple of the genre but I want a little more. There's always a lot of drama so it would be nice to see the characters just relaxing or being together without any life-or-death stakes.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next in the series. I will be checking NetGalley constantly to see when it will be available.

I was provided a free copy of this book through NetGalley.

Katee Robert has done it again!

Thank you NetGalley, Katee Robert and SourceBooks Casablanca for this E-ARC!

The trouble with Cassandra is that no one on Olympus believes her. Is it because she's sharp and thorny or because her parents attempted to enact a coup d'etat against the Thirteen who rule Olympus, causing their deaths and her near banishment? Apollo doesn't see that part of her though, only the long standing friendship they've cultivated and the way he longs for her. When a newcomer enters into Olympus with more secrets than he's willing to share, Apollo brings Cassandra on board as his fake date for a week long party at Minos' house. Who will believe Cassandra when sees and hears something she shouldn't, and what happens when playing fake dates ignites something very real between Apollo and Cassandra?

I loved this. I love how the plot is coming together from the last few books, always usurping, always power hungry. Cassandra and Apollo were delightful together, a glorious combination of thorns and roses and delight. Not mention, hot as hell.

I like that Robert stuck to Cassandra story in a twisted way, I loved that no one believed her because of her parents and what was parents but a legacy in themselves.

I'm curious to see what happens with Minos' children after this book (talk about some fun plots points for future tales), but I liked that I sort of guessed what was going to happen, but didn't know for sure. This book brought me joy and suspense and wonder.
