I love all of Katee Robert’s books. With each one I read, I can’t wait for the next book to come out. He writing style is wonderful and her storylines are interesting.

Perfect next addition to the Dark Olympus series. Radiant Sin is a workplace romance that also has other tropes mixed in like fake relationship, forced proximity, and friends to lovers. Cassandra's parents died in attempted coup and now she is forced to take the backlash. Zeus asks Cassandra to fake a relationship with Apollo, and has them spend a week together to spy on the other thirteen. Of course, nothing in Olympus is easy and the politics turn nasty and dangerous. I loved the sparks that flew between Cassandra and Apollo and the tension that built. I wasn't a huge fan of the murder mystery plot but it was definitely different. I also wish the ending didn't come so abruptly. We get a good foundation of the other characters in Olympus and whose stories are yet to come. I’m already looking forward to the next one.

I have no idea how to feel after that, other than desperate to get my hands on the next one.
Somehow, Katee gets better and better with every book in this series. I was convinced nothing she wrote could top Electric Idol, and then Wicked Beauty proved me wrong. It seems only right that Radiant Sin does it again!
I love that we’re getting a deeper look into Olympus’ politics as the series goes on, even if it leaves me with more questions than answers.
As for Apollo and Cass? My god, I love them in all of their (reverse) grumpy-sunshine goodness.

Thank you (no really this is the most exciting one ever) to the publishers for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Book 4 in the Dark Olympus and the book politics and world building are really ramping up in the best way possible. The events of the books are starting to bleed into each other, the conclusion of one impacting the beginning of the next. I love how the time just between Wicked Beauty (#3) and Radian Sin is about three weeks meaning the events of the trials are fresh. While the characters from Wicket Beauty aren't active participants of this book, their presence is there as we see the political drama unfold in the background of the romance between Cassandra and Apollo. And yes, the romance is still squarely the forefront of the story but the drama adds some delightful spark and mystery to the story.

I loved how the myth of Cassandra was adapted for this story. It's not adhering to the original myth of her becoming a clairvoyant whom no one believes but aspects of that story are relevant to the plot. No more on that because if you're familiar, you'll definitely be able to figure out the story. Other characters like Minos, Theseus, the Minotar, Ariadne, and more are part of the story in some minor capacity which makes for a fascinating concoction. Most of the characters are lined up in future books meaning their stories get more prominence there but it was cool to see how the seeds of those upcoming stories were planted not only in this book but back in the first book as well.

Yes these books are primarily smut and romance, a delicate balance that makes the romantic erotica subgenre, but the incredibly well thought out and planned world building and greater series plot makes this series INCREDIBLE. Can't wait for the rest of these books.

Cassandra wants to leave Olympus. One way to do that is one last spy mission with her boss, Apollo. If she fakes it at this week retreat and gleams some secrets Zeus will make sure she can leave the city. But there's more danger than expected at Minos' estate.
If Apollo and Cassandra can figure out what Minos is planning maybe they can protect Olympus and the other members of the Thirteen. Or will they get caught in each other's orbits, and bed, instead?

I have only read Neon Gods in this series. I was a little disappointed with the first book, not because I didn't enjoy it but because I was expecting Gods and not humans. That was completely my own fault. I liked delving back into this world and seeing Cassandra and Apollo's point of views. I am interested now into going back and reading the other titles in this series.

I like Katee Robert and have read some other of her titles. They are entertaining and scorching hot reads. I am interested to see how the city keeps going after the events in this story. I can't wait to see other characters stories and where they go from here.

4.5/5

Katee Robert’s latest Dark Olympus book kind of reads like if Agatha Christie’s “And then there were none” was written with “steam”.

In this latest retelling, Apollo, Olympus’ spymaster, must use a week-long getaway to finally get some answers about the newest threat to Olympus, and he can’t do it without his assistant, Cassandra. What unfolds is a balance between actual plot and a sexy relationship unfolding.

While I’ve had some complaints about Robert’s straying into unrealistic/under developed plots for the sake of non-stop sex scenes (yes I’m talking about you Court of the Vampire Queen), Radiant Sin follows more along the lines established in Wicked Beauty where the plot and characters actually make sense!

The mysterious nature this unusual getaway the characters attend made me get sexy Sherlock and Watson vibes. After all, Apollo and Cassandra are both just so likable!

Anyone who loves their plot served with steam is going to love this latest addition to this excellent series and may even find their new favorite! Can’t wait to see what happens in the next Dark Olympus retelling!

Thank you to Netgalley and Katee Robert for an advanced copy of Radiant Sin in exchange for an honest review!

review tbd!! If I remember

This was a super fun addition to the Dark Olympus Series by Katee Robert! "Radiant Sin" is the 4th novel and i definitely enjoyed it more than the last. It's been a couple of months since reading this but from what I remember I really liked the main characters and its always nice to see the past couples in the new books as well!

although its not the best writing i could ask for, Katee Robert writes an incredibly thrilling story and I cant wait for the next :)

ty to netgalley and sourcebooks for an e-arc in exchange for an honest review :)

while i found the rest of this series to be fun, for me, this installment fell really flat. the plot was slow and boring, and the chemistry between the main characters was nonexistent. additionally, for a KR book, the spice was lacking :/

While a bit of a slower burn, Radiant Sin is a wonderful breath in the middle of the series that is clearly about to start escalating, and I love it. The dynamic between characters is great with a bit of a twist on a grump/sunshine pairing. It draws in the delicious world of bdsm that the author takes care to represent well. Plus Hermes makes the necessary appearance and I adore it!

One of the most intriguing parts of the dark Olympus series is that it’s not about black and white but rather the gray that’s in between. A majority of the characters are complicated and as you read about them you’re always surprised by the motives and what drives them. It’s hard to say who are the heroes or villains in a series like this which is why I can’t stop reading them.

In radiance in we have Apollo, who is the spy master of the 13. We also have Cassandra whose whole life has left her under a microscope because of actions by her parents. She has a murky reputation because of actions of others not her own.

In the last book wicked beauty, an adversary to the 13 entered the picture. Apollo asks Cassandra to accompany him as his +1 to a party that is being hosted by Minos. She agrees to accompany him with the caveat that once this task is done she and her sister can leave dark Olympus.

We really get to see the different personalities and actions of the other members of the 13 in this book. The intrigue and the we don’t know who is on our side parts of this book are fascinating. None of the entry though gets in the way of the romance between Apollo and Cassandra. They decide to have an intimate relationship during their time at the party. You can see that there is a deeper connection between them from the beginning. What is so admirable is that Apollo puts his own needs to decide in order to bend over backwards to ensure that Cassandra is getting what she needs and gets to make decisions about her future on her own. Cassandra and Apollo are a well matched couple and it’s fun to see someone who is so dominant in the bedroom but can be so soft and understanding went outside of it. I don’t want to reveal too much of the other characters actions because it would spoil the book. What I can say is that not only did I enjoy this book thoroughly I am eagerly awaiting for the next book in the series Cruel Seduction.

I received an eARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely adore this book! I was only about 10% through this book and had to go on Amazon and pre-order it. By 20% I was already getting impatient for the book to be physically in my hands. This book felt kind of like a Greek gods retelling of Clue [I think it was (insert name) with the statue in the library lol]. I love clue, so this was really fun for me. I love the fact that this is a Dom/Sub romance. I also love the fact that this is a retelling of Cassandra and Apollo’s story where Apollo is not a dick and Cassandra is not a victim. If you are at all familiar with Greek mythology, then you know what I’m talking about. Like her original mythological counterpart, Cassandra is not believed by Olympus. At one point she even makes a comment about how she knows what’s happening, but no one is going to believe her in her inner monologue; and I’m like yeah girl that’s because historically no one ever believes you! I think Katee Robert did an amazing job with this story, and I can’t wait to see what she does with this series. No spoilers but Hermes!? Gorl! It is way past time that we get her story and figure out what the hell she’s up to. I absolutely love her, but this book made me say: girl what!?
Obsessed.

Thank you for an ARC of this book!

I love this series and was so excited to get an ARC of the newest book! Y’all, this book was so much fun! Apollo and Cassandra (who has been working for Apollo for years) are tasked with finding out more information about the newcomers to town by Zeus, so they go to this house party and of course chaos ensues. In the middle of all the chaos Apollo and Cassandra have really great smexy times and fall in love. They have this dom/sub type of relationship in the bedroom and it’s really hot, but sweet at the same time. This is such a steamy but sweet read. Definitely sets you up for something crazy going down in the next book though, which I can’t wait for!

I continue to enjoy Katee Robert's take on the lives and loves of the Olympians, and the clever way she weaves the myths into a modern setting. This is Apollo and Cassandra's book, and they have a (slightly) gentler, slow-burn romance than the couples (and thruples) in the proceeding books in the series.

Cassandra isn't like the others in Olympus, she's an outsider, which is fine with her. She's making a living so she can get herself and her sister out of the city that murdered their parents. Too bad she's fallen for her hot boss, Apollo, along the way.

Until one day she gets invited to a house party with a side bonus of enough cash to get her out of Olympus; a deal she can't refuse. Even if she has to play Apollo's girlfriend, and, oh yeah, share a bed. But when house guests start going missing there's more at stake than the growing sexual tension between Boss and Assistant. Will Cassandra get the HEA she deserves before she gets hurt?!?

I liked this book in Robert's series, but it wasn't as good as the first two, and I would have loved to hear more about Apollo's back ground, but you could tell this story was all about Cassandra. Can't wait to read more!

Definitely better than the last one, but still not great. Lots of trying to do the whole "political intrigue" thing, but it doesn't work when no one understands how Olympus actually fits into the rest of the world. I had to stop the third one because the spicy scenes were gratuitous, but this one was better!

RADIANT SIN by Katee Robert was a bit of a miss for me, from an author who has written only non-stop hits. I feel the romance aspects of this novel were a bit lost in the intense worldbuilding and whodunnit nature of the tale. While this focus on the world at large may have been necessary, I never felt emotionally involved with our characters or their budding romance.

This is Book 4 of the Dark Olympus Series. As a bookstore, we have yet to read the rest of this specific series. We have read her Wicked Villains Series, and it was pleasantly surprising to find that this novel was very much cut down on the bedroom scenes compared to what Katee Robert is known for.

The plot was amazing, and really kept you involved in the story. For readers who enjoy political chaos, this fits that bill perfectly. There was an end goal for the main female character. You could see her grow and learn her value along the story.

Katee Robert kept with her theme of Greek Mythical Gods and Deities, and seeing Apollo, Hermes, and several other lesser known beings gave them some character. You could really see what kind of people they could have been in a modern world, or how the politics work in that society.

All in all, we could definitely hand sell this book instore, seeing as we already have several Katee Robert fans in our area. It was balanced well between story and romance, which was a great palate cleanser.

Katee does it again. A gorgeous spin on some of our favorite gods in a modern setting. Story telling and sensuous scenes further the plot all while that city never sleeps.

Cassandra wants nothing more than to get out of Olympus. Zeus offers her more than enough money to make that happen, but the strings are almost too much - Cassandra has to pretend to date Apollo to infiltrate a party hosted by someone very dangerous. She's been working for Apollo for years and has managed to keep her feelings for him at bay; he's one of the Thirteen, part of the very people that assassinated her parents after a failed coup. Cassandra must put aside her dislike for the Thirteen and get as much information from this party as she can. Cassandra is playing a dangerous game both with her heart and with unknown power players.

I really enjoyed the characters and the spice level. I'm a little annoyed we still haven't seen anything of the world outside Olympus nor have we found out why the barrier is failing. I can't wait for the next installment!

Thank you to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca for providing a free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this new addition to the Dark Olympus series! Katee Robert excels at building tension between the characters and then masterfully delivering on a steamy culmination! I have enjoyed all the books in this series and the story of Apollo and Cassandra is a great addition. Radiant Sin shows us more about the other players in this series and I especially liked seeing the interactions between the different personalities. Absolutely give this book a read if you're looking for steamy intrigue!
