Another book I have read that have not read the books before. However, I LOVED this story. Sloane and Joseph are probably my favorite characters ever! Enemies to Lovers at its finest. Super spicey, dangerous, betrayal. It has it all. I will be reading the other books. There is a lot of action in the book and definitely could not put this one down. Not just romance action either.

I just could not suspend reality for this story. What should have been high tension chases and action packed fight scene just seemed fake to me and too over the top.
I was also disappointed by the ending, as we still don't know who is hunting them, but I suppose that is so we have to pick up the next installment. Unfortunately, I don't foresee the third book holding my interest enough to pick up the next book in the series. Normally, mafia romance is a trope I truly enjoy, yet this one just didn't hold my interest.

Non-stop action and tense scenes made this an exciting and fast-paced read. The happy ending for Sloane and Joseph was the icing on the cake. The story ended with a lot of unanswered questions about who was behind the attacks on Joseph and Sloane so it will be interesting to read the rest of the series and see how it all plays out. I'm also looking forward to Penny and Michael's story.

I read this in one night, I was up until 4am, but I was not about to go to bed with all the action that was happening in this book. So warning, be ready for some on the edge of your seat non stop adventure.

I have been hooked on Sloane and Joseph's story from the start and this one was probably my second favorite book in the series so far. I still have all heart for the Holiday novella, which is a MUST read to fully love this couple.

Loved reading the engaging, enthralling, and engrossing story. When Joseph Rossi discovers that not only his life and the life of his men are in danger but also the woman of his heart, Brennan Sloan. Even though the Rossi's and Sloan's are enemies, Joseph and Brennan work together to try to escape Reno and his men's nefarious plans for them. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, full of romance and suspense, and a must read love story by the phenomenal author, Quinn Marlowe.

Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. This book! Oh Em Gee! I didn't realize it was book 2 of something I already read but I was instantly back into the last page of book 1. I was right back on track to where we left off. This book was everything I could have hoped for and more. The action and the one liners! Just WOW. Its basically a mafia version of Romeo and Juliet but man oh man is it thrilling! The (spoiler alert) bullets flying and the roof jumping! It doesn't get any better than this. Even as you read you realize You Cant Trust Anyone! I cannot wait for the next book ! Please don't make me wait too long!

It's a fast-paced book that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. There's action, adventure, surprises and off charts chemistry that will keep your attention on the book till the very end.

This was a fast action-packed read. This book picks off right at the cliffhanger of "Her Romeo". I thought that this was a fun and easy read. Even though it was fast paced it dragged in a few spots (it wasnt too bad). There was guns, car chases and romance which I enjoyed. I wish that the MMC was just a tad tougher than he was in this book.  Also, I personally wanted more closure with this story.

Thank you NetGalley and publishers for this book for an honest review.

Action, action and more action! This installment of the Sloane and Joseph series wraps up their story in an action packed way that is sure to get your heart pumping. Guns blazing, car chases and more has exploded the suspense in this romantic suspense trilogy. It's a quick read, but a fun one. Toss in electric chemistry between the characters and you have a fun read. All the books in the series read quickly like a novella and you need to read all three books in order so you get the full story, but it has ultimately been a fun diversion from real life!

This short novel is the sequel to Her Romeo, and is the third book in the series... it picks up immediately after the cliffhanger ending of HR.

Sloane Brennan is the daughter of the Irish mob boss in NYC, and Joseph Rossi is the oldest son and heir apparent to the Italian mob in New York... they use to secretly be best friends as children until their circumstances torn them apart on the night of their high school graduation. Over the last eight years, Sloane had distanced herself as much as possible from the family business as she studied to become a lawyer. Joseph, on the other hand, leaned into his role and worked his way to becoming his father's right hand man. Three years ago, a chance encounter in LA led to a one-night-only affair. Now Sloane is back in NYC as a lawyer and prosecuting Joseph for racketeering. Despite this, they’re obviously still fighting the emotions they've been worked hard to ignore all these years. When the simmering tensions between their feeding families reached the boiling point, the pair found themselves literally caught in the crossfire. Sloane’s been kidnapped by Joseph, transported to Italy, and held as leverage with a third party until her father bends to the will of Joseph’s father. As the pair realize that they don’t know who they can trust and that that a fourth party has entered the chat, they find themselves fighting not just their safety but also for a chance at a future together. It they can make it out of Italy alive. They’re chased by an unknown threat through the Italian countryside, through the streets of Rome, across the Atlantic, and through their home territories of NYC.

Unlike HR, Her Hero does not exactly end on a cliffhanger, but even after Sloane and Joseph get their HEA, we still don’t know who was trying to take them out, ensuring you'll keep reading to get to the end of the story - hopefully revealed in the next book, since this was a bit unsatisfying. There's Romeo-Juliet style mafia romance if that's your thing, good girl-bad boy trope, and steam, with a fair amount of action sequences through in for excitement..

Her hero by Quinn Marlowe.
Mafia Rogues: The Rossi Chapter Book 3.
A kidnapping gone wrong. A girl in need of a hero. And a hero who might be in over his head.
I never thought I’d be calling Sloane Brennan my ally again, and I never expected to have to play her hero. I thought those days were far, far behind us.
Then again, I never expected to kidnap her, get her to Italy, and fall in love with her again, either.
But when you kidnap a girl and take her to another country, only to find that the guy you’re supposed to give her to has plans that don’t include keeping her safe, you do what you have to do. And in this case, that means keeping Sloane safe. No matter what it takes. No matter what it costs. No matter how many people I have to alienate along the way.
Because now that I have her in my arms again, I have no intentions of giving her back up. I’ve tasted too much of her. Let her under my skin.
Shown her pieces of me that I’ve never shown anyone.
This time, I’m playing for keeps. And I don’t particular care whether she likes it or not.
Omg. Couldn't put it down. Loved how Sloane and Joseph were together. I do hope there is more to come. Definitely recommend. 5*.

Here in this book the story at times just felt off. Joseph's character felt off as well not as fierce, or decisive at times which left me feeling off with the story. Sloane had more moxie which was good for the story but at times lacked the strength between the two characters I felt in the other books. This might have just been me. I also felt at times there was too much talking and not much doing, like after Joseph got away from one guy in Italy why still stay in the house in the room? Get out then make a plan to leave. Again, maybe just me. You never find out who was really after them once they left Italy and who had bought her or was going to? I did like the ending even though I still had some questions. Did not care for this book as much as the others, still did like Sloane’s character and Joseph did save his best for last.
