This book wasn't for me. It felt like a cheesy soap opera from the 80's without the shoulder pads. The characters are all over the top and very immature.

Great narration and I loved the dynamics among this group of friends. The story starts off slow but stick with it and you will be in for some fun!

Meh - There is just too much going on here... I feel like I just read a bad soap!
The friendship between the three girls seemed unlikely, and I didn't really bond with any of the characters.

I really liked "Scandalous Lies" but this one really didn't do anything for me...

If there is one thing that never fails me about Nigel May books it’s the tangled web he manages to weave. Every single time the characters end up intersecting and I’m left going “but how?!”

Trinity wasn’t my favorite of his but still has me asking that question. The dynamic trio of friends is trying to navigate stardom and maintain their friendship. Throughout the book we see their naive broken hearts, tragic family relationships, and intimate secrets revealed. If you have a group of girlfriends, you’ll definitely understand this one.

Thanks to NetGalley for access to this audiobook. I thought the narrator did a great job.

Deliciously Devilish…
A raunchy, gossip drenched romp taking the listener from London to Los Angeles whilst soaked in gallons of glamour and amidst much delicious drama. Narration is well nuanced and always fun. A well crafted cast of often deviously devilish characters populate the frothy plot making for a perfect sun soaked lounger listen whilst scandal, intrigue and secrets abound.

Synopsis
When friends become enemies there are no rules…

Ambitious gossip queen Anoushka Silvers is the daughter her abusive father never wanted. Determined to prove herself to her family, she’ll stop at nothing to get what she wants. But when her bitchy tongue gains her death threats and the unwanted attention of a stalker, it could be Anoushka who is making the headlines.

For actress Evie Merchant, her childhood dreams of becoming the world’s hottest movie star are just about to come true. But a string of hurtful liaisons with lovers out to use her fame, has made Evie uncertain about her future. And with Oscar day looming, Evie’s biggest prize of all could be cruelly snatched from her.

A loveless upbringing has made wild child Regan Phoenix search for quick-fix highs from drink, drugs and meaningless sex. But when the opportunity of starring in her own reality show comes along, Regan grabs it with both hands, hoping to put her trashy past behind her.

From fashionable London to stunning Venice and glitzy LA, Trinity takes you into a glamorous and thrilling world you won’t want to leave.

Ok, first things first, I actually had to double check that the author was male. A distinct Jackie Collins feel from this one. Absolute trash of the best kind from start to finish. I don’t usually go for this kind of novel, a little predictable for a rompathon (which isn’t exactly a shock) I rolled my eyes so hard they almost fell out at the use of the p word. No not p for prude that’s clearly me. Fairly good story line, I’m sure if this is your kind of novel it’s a winner!

“Trinity” by Nigel May is another fabulously saucy piece of escapism! If you're looking for some trashy, brashy and raunchy escapism then say hello to Nigel May's debut Trinity, which has now been released on audiobook. Based in London Trinity meanders its way through the glamorous and scandalous lives of a privileged trio of twenty somethings: Regan, Evie and Nush. All three girls are looking for love in all the wrong places, making for an enjoyable and entertaining read. It's all here, the bitch, the whore, the innocent, the devious, the deluded and the downright ruthless, all fighting for attention page after page. Loved it!

My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an arc in exchange for an unbiased review.

Narrator 3 ⭐⭐⭐
Goldie Kelly was ok but honestly I didn't love. After s while her voice started to grate on me.

Story 3 ⭐⭐⭐
I struggled to get into this story and I think in this case I would have enjoyed this more in the E-book format.

I enjoyed the strong friendships between the ladies.

First time trying Nigel May and he has a massive Jackie Collins feel to his writing.

They are three friends.
Evie Merchant, she’s an actress. However, she still yet to find love and she longs to win an Oscar.
Regan Phoenix. She is the daughter of a celebrity however she’s had a loveless upbringing. She is known for drinking and drugs for quick liaisons. All she wants to do is reinventing life.
Anoushka Silvers, she works for her father a paper magnet, she is the gossip queen columnist. However, her brother is the only child her father recognises. And he lets her know it.

Together they make the Trinity. Together they are a force to be reckoned with. Strong bonds make sure they stick together. But is there nothing that will test their friendship?

Nigel May feels like the new Jackie Collins. Glitzy lives and a smattering of sex thrown in to give a fantastic holiday read.

Many thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to hear an ARC
