"The Christmas season has returned and Viola never disappoints!
I loved this story of hope, faith, friendship.
want to visit this little bookstore in Michigan and the owner, Susan.
I also need to meet the beautiful grandparents who make Christmas everyday!
Their are always so many life lessons in Viola Shipman's stories that you cannot help but sit and reflect on the messages within these pages and words.
Can Susan find happiness? Will she meet the man in the "santa" suit who mysteriously seemed to ghost her?
It is emotional and uplifting and makes me want to read it again, and I will!
I will definitely be gifting this book to others!
Have a seat with some hot cocoa and a warm blanket and settle in!

Thank you so much to @NetGalley and to @Harlequin trade publishing for this ARC and allowing me to read and provide my own review. It is definitely 10 stars!

I think this is Viola Shipman’s (Wade Rouse) best book he’s written to date. My goodness! Such a good read. Had me from the first page to the last. A story of love, healing and true love. I was given an advanced reader copy from NetGalley and I am freely leaving my review.

There is a bonus short story with this book
A Sugarplum Christmas-Such a heartwarming read. It helps us to remember the value of families and the memories and traditions they bring to our lives. Never forget.

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the ARC of this book. More and more this author is becoming one of my favorites. He did not disappoint. This was a fun book to read. Not only was it set in beautiful Petoskey but it was a book about a bookstore and about a woman who loved to read. Susan's grandparents were fantastic characters and her best friend and bookstore employees were all hilarious as they tried to help Susan find her Santa. This is a heartwarming story about love, friendship, family, and the beauty and magic of the Christmas season. Our library has already preordered this book and I highly recommend it.
Readers of Susan Mallery would enjoy this book.

As much as I wanted to love this book, it just dragged forever, and the plot was silly and didn't keep my interest. The character who was gay was very stereotypical, and the "reveal" at the end was not a surprise at all, because things were mentioned throughout the story that didn't need to be there unless that character was going to be more prominent (I'm being vague on purpose here). Not thrilled with this one.

I really enjoyed this book. It was the best that Viola Shipman has written so far this year. It was funny, heartwarming, and I had tears in my eyes in a lot of parts. All in all it made me look forward to Christmas. I am grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

Another winner from Viola! This book is extra special as it takes place where I live. Who is the Single Kringle? That is the question! This was enjoyable from start to finish with excellent reminders on the importance of having an open heart.

4.5 stars A lovely heartwarming story about love, relationships, forgiveness, books, a bookstore- oh, and Santa Claus. Viola Shipman doesn't disappoint with any of her books. This one would make a perfect Hallmark movie.

What a truly heartwarming and beautifully written story about the love of books, family and friends and the true meaning of love and forgiveness. Viola Shipman never fails to deliver a “Hallmark” book. A great read during a hot summer!

As always with Viola Shipman's books we get a bit of a history lesson as well as family relationships. While this was a bit too heavy on the history for me, I did enjoy reading it. Once I began it was hard to put down.

"All I wish is for Christmas to be the way it used to."

What an utterly heartwarming story. Hallmark Channel, this is tour next movie. There's so much goodness to love here.

"When I was a kid, this bookstore saved my life."

Susan loves books, reading, and Christmas. (I'm totally all in at this point. I mean, Susan is who I would be in a Christmas story.) From the opening moments of what has to be the worst Christmas blind date of all time to cheesy pick-up lines in a Santa Run to sadness & darkness, Susan finally finds her movie moment.

The grandparents are precious. Perfect for TV. And several nods to books and movies! (Bridgertons, anyone?)

"Fairytales are written for children who've yet to be hurt by life." Ah, but wishes can come true. And there are happy endings. We just have to get through the darkness first.

This is a fun read…love and romance…family and books…this book was sent to me by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy. Quirky characters…fast paced…fun read…curl up In a comfy chair with a warm blanket…a cup of steaming herbal tea…lose yourself in this story that is fiction but reads, at times, like nonfiction…enjoy…
