Another amazing book from the Rebel girl series. I just can't get enough of the rebel girls and just how inspiring they are.

This was very well done, with colorful photos, and wonderful facts. An empowering book for women of all ages!

Unlike the usual format of the Rebel Girls series, The Rebel Girls Handbook doesn't tell the various women’s mini biographies in a story format but rather in lists which ensure so much more about the women that have been included.

The handbook is like the previous books, with the wonderful artwork and the ability to provide information for the reader in a manner that isn't overwhelming but is very inspiring. These books ensure children, regardless of gender, can learn something new. I do love how expansive the list of women who've been chosen for the handbook are from across the various continents which helps to ensure there is a variety of representation when it comes to country of birth, age and experience in their area of expertise.

This book doesn't include just a few women but rather several hundred, which is incredible and will no doubt be useful for an educational purpose. I'm so glad to see more inclusion taking place with Rebel Girls in their books as there is trans representation. I'd also noticed the distinct lack of disabled women in the books and again, that kind of representation is in this book and is direly needed across all media to break the antiquated view that disability equates to idiocy. (Something I've witnessed since becoming a wheelchair user, so it's not presumption but a sad reality.)

I did notice, however, that there were some biographies that I've seen in previous books from the Rebel Girls series, but I also understand that not everyone has read the books before.

I love this series. It is an easy and quick read. I appreciate that there are multiple editions, including this handbook, which helps young girls lead rebel lives. I love that the book series is very inclusive and has a lot of examples of women who changed the world. This series would make a great collection for middle grade and upper elementary school classrooms

A book for older girls. Lots of pages about the size of a novel.
Design and layout similar to other Rebel Girls Books with bright colours. More sentencing in a non standard layout with lots of pictures.
The first section of the book focusses on where the rebel girls come from, Some pages show entire continents whilst others focusses on specific regions and countries.
Then there is a timeline of how great women have been throughout history and how they made history. Each rebel has a page focused on them with their name at the top, what the they're really good at and the country they are from or the country where they undertake what they do best.
The book features over three hundred women and girls. There are QR codes on some pages and activity ideas,
This is a true celebration of how great women are and always have been.

Actually I did not get a chance to properly check this out. However with the little I was able to see, in terms of including the title in our shop, then we will probably bring a few. It seems like a fun book for both girls and boys to flick through and see more of a summary of the many successful women out there. However I prefer the actual stories, quizzes and questions. Whilst Rebel Girls promotes and celebrates women, I think that the audience needs to be more inclusive for boys to see what women are capable of as there are two sides to this coin. The girls need to have the confidence to go for it and try, the boys need to welcome and embrace their attempts.

I loved the illustrations and the descriptions of all the girls/women included in this book. I learned a lot of new people who left an impact on the world. I liked how there were different regions covered so it wasn't a Western/white centric book.

Rebel Girls Handbook is a gem. No matter what they always upgrade their stories in collecting new people. It has been a pleasure reading pre-approved books.

It is a must-read, all ages.

It's an amazing collection of lives of women told for readers of any age. Of course it doesn't go too deep in the topic, but I think it's very important for children especially to get to know both men and women who did great things and can become their role models. I will always recommend this series of books!

The Rebel Girls book series and podcast are amazing! My girls and I listen to a story every single night. We have our favorites but they are all just the right amount of information and wonderful writing. This book is a great addition to the series.

One of the best Rebel Girls books I've read so far! I love this series of books so much. I love that there are so many role models for little girls to empower them. I wish these were around when I was younger!

Easy read with short, manageable excerpts that are easily digestible for middle grade and YA students. It was an interesting concept to pull women from different nations, which was different but also called into question about how some of the ladies were chosen and why- particularly when some nations had much more significant female figures than the ones chosen… sometimes, it appeared motivated by something other than maintaining an historical of great females who broke the mold and pandering to some particular causes instead.

Another great entry in the Rebel Girls series. This book was filled with Rebel Girls. I love that this book includes women and girls from history and present, from various countries and with different interests, skills, hobbies and abilities. Very inspirational and makes me want to learn more. Definitely a recommended read for those that enjoy biographies, memoirs and inspirational stories. I look forward to reading more from the Rebel Girls series!

Such a fun and educational book! I love the design and will definitely be purchasing it for our library! So many notable names, many that I hadn't heard of before. Love that transwomen and many different nationalities were included.

The Rebel Girls Handbook includes small summaries and illustrations of so many rebel girls! Some have been included in the previous Rebel Girls books. Some even have chapter books ready to learn even more about them. I liked it but I prefer the other books by Rebel Girls which go more in-depth into the person instead of about three bullet points of what they have done. Still it is an inspiring handbook for young kids who will learn about so many great roll models!

This is a great book for young girls. It is inspiring, informative and fun. I really like the way it is layer out. Easy to read and to the point with some fun facts. I did not know some of the women but do now and really enjoyed learning about them. It also inspires you to research more to learn more about them. I highly recommend this book.

This is a great title from Rebel Girls giving a brief introduction to many inspiring girls and women from around the world. Full of bright pictures facts and questions for readers, this book takes the reader on a journey round the world introducing girls from all fields including science, art, sport, history and technology along with many more. Certain to inspire many young girls and show that they can be whoever they want to be, whatever their background!

I love this series so much. It's wonderful that this exists to inspire young girls and show them what's possible. I love the easy-to-read format, the illustrations, and how interactive it is. This would make a great gift and I plan to get copies for all the kids in my life!

This book is truly unique and special! It actually might be my personal favorite out of all the Rebel Girls books I have seen so far.
I loved, loved, loved the part where there are countries and tiny snippets of information about various women from that region and what makes them special and unique.
Women of various backgrounds, with various achievements, of various ages. Wow.
This definitely also is the most fun read for kids, as there are no long paragraphs, there are fun illustrations (and lots of those!), and each bit is written in an easy-to-read and easy-to-comprehend manner. There are short bullet points along with facts (and many of them work as great conversation starters later!).
