As someone who is fairly new to the workforce (and now heading back to the office in person after working remotely) this was a great read. I really appreciate Peter Yawitz's light-hearted humor while still being extremely educational. Really great resource!

What gentle parenting probably should look like for the office. Don't take it from me, though, because I don't think this is for me.

This book was not for me. Maybe I am too old or too established in my carrier already but it felt like the author was kicking at a lot of open doors. The "advice" was obvious and not very useful. Not in the least place because it is very American centric without much regard for how corporate environments function outside of the US even though the synopsis clearly states the book is written for American and non-American young workers.

A huge thanks to the publisher for my complimentary copy and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.

I went into this book with a reluctance of a child staring at broccoli because I did not know what to expect. This book belongs on every graduate's shelf, every human being that is starting a new job and everyone that has ever questioned if flip flops are worth wearing to work. We all need to read this book in order to navigate the workplace and what's appropriate for the workplace and what isn't. I highly recommend it.
