The family dynamics was absolutely wild! It is what kept me turning the pages!
Every family secret will eventually come out sooner or later. This was what I had fun with.
This fun novel will definitely keep your attention.
I loved loved this new to me author! She's fantastic!
Some of it is pretty far fetched and wouldn't fly in the real world but most of it does actually happen.
My heart went out to Jinny and Gabe but I enjoyed their journey.
By the time this novel was finished I felt like I had a whole new family.
This was such fun to read and I had a really good time with it.
I couldn't put it down until I've finished it. I read it in one day it was so good.
I especially loved the cover as yellow is my favorite color.
5 stars for a job well done! I highly recommend!
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

This is book #10 in the Love Heart Lane series. I've read all the previous books in the series and have loved them all, so had no reason to think I wouldn't love this one! We return back to the delightful Scottish village of Heartcross where Jinny Birdwhistle has applied for the job of chutney maker! Jinny was a journalist in London working alongside her father, but after taking stock of her life and career she decides to take her life in a completely different direction - hence the long journey up to Heartcross! I loved Jinny's character, she was just so likeable and was someone who you could really relate to! Her relationship with her father hasn't been a good one since her mother died many years before, and you could completely understand her reasons for wanting a fresh start!

If you've read the previous books, you'll know how beautiful the little village of Heartcross is, and it was wonderful to be back there! It was especially fun to be amongst the honey and chutney making business and the author's descriptions of how this worked was so well researched! The descriptions of collecting the honey from the beehives was fascinating, but I could so understand Jinny's nerves even with her bee suit on! I would have loved to work alongside Gabe however, who was as hot as a hot summer's day. He did though seem to have some unresolved issues in his life, which were revealed as their stories moved on!

It was great to meet up with some of the other villagers who I've come to love over the course of the series. Jinny fitted right into the little community liked she'd lived there all of her life, and I loved the possible chance of romance and happiness for her! I absolutely loved this book and fell right into the storyline right from the first page - it was just like I'd never left! There was lots of love, life and laughter, and the beautiful scenery of Bumblebee Cottage's gardens gave me stunning summery images on this cold, windy day! I really do love this series, and am so happy to see that there are more books planned! Would recommend!

The Hidden Secrets of Bumblebee Cottage is the latest novel in Christie Barlow’s Love Heart Lane series. We are once again back in the gorgeous Scottish village of Heartcross with plenty of our favourite characters plus newcomers Jinny and Gabe.

When Jinny is pushed over the edge one too many times by her father, she gives up her home and journalism career and moves to Heartcross and embarks on a new career making chutney and honey under the watchful gaze of gorgeous Gabe. However there is more to Gabe than he’s willing to share and Jimmy finds her journalistic instincts kicking in once again and she uncovers a mystery that has links to her family.

I love this series of books and found this one impossible to put down. From the first chapter I was completely immersed in the story and totally lost myself in village life. Fantastic characters and a great plot line. I completely devoured each page. Thank you to NetGalley, Harper Collins UK One More Chapter and the author for the chance to review.
