I had enjoyed the previous books in the Sarah Bain Barrett series, I had enjoyed the mystery in the previous books and the historical period. This book had what I wanted from this series, it had a interesting premise and I was invested in what was going on. Sarah was what I remembered from previous books and I enjoyed her character in this book. I look forward to more from Ms. Laura Joh Rowland.
