This was approved by the publisher and netgalley for me to read and review this was a interesting book. At first it was about Rayne who owns her own business making wedding dresses. The one she was with Landon left her and took dresses and we'll almost everything.. Rayne ended up going to Ireland with her mother's. approval to meet her dad's side of the family more and even though she didn't want to to help she decided to stay in Ireland and even run her wedding dresss business from Ireland to help save her family's castle and it's meaning to her family. If you like a good story on family heritage and a mystery this is the book for you.

Ellie Brannigan has written an enjoyable mystery set in a well described and atmospheric Irish town.

Murder at an Irish Castle begins in L.A. where Rayne, a bridal wear designer, discovers her life is not at all what she expected. Reaching the big 3-0 she assumes her boyfriend will become her fiancee, that they will celebrate with a decadent meal of lobster and champagne, and where she would begin a new life as a well-loved woman. Life, as they say, had other plans.

Rayne's dream is not to be. While living through her disappointment she discovers that she has been left a castle in an old village in Ireland. Broke and despondent, she takes a flight to discover that this castle business is all about.

The run down castle, she discovers, comes with strings. Her uncle has demanded that she turn the castle around financially in a year in order to save both the castle and the people in the village. This is no small task.
As she begins her work she begins to realize that her uncle did not succumb to natural causes -- rather, it may well have been murder. As things continue it seems that Rayne herself may be the next victim.

Brannigan does a lovely job of bringing the village to life. The castle is just the thing to whisk Rayna and the reader to another land.

Enjoyable
