This book is one of the most atmospheric, and cozy books I've read in a long time. In a modern day where witches are known to exist & yet outcast and hated for their abilities, Iris hides her lunar magic whilst working at her mother's nature reserve. Emotionally able to connect with animals in due part to her magic, Iris's loathed coworker Pike becomes the target for an attempted curse, one that gets stolen; ending up with the two being tossed into a timed adventure to retrieve it before it's unleashed on more than just its original victim.

While the romance was a bit forced, every ounce of it was overtaken by just how enchanting Rachel Griffin's writing style is, truly dragging you into the midst of an autumn journey; the mood and environment absolutely perfect for a night tucked in bed!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!

I liked this book, but I didn't have as much connection to it as The Nature of Witches. The plot felt a little predictable. That being said, I think a lot of teens would really connect with this story, and I want to recommend this book for all 7th grade + .

I enjoyed the narrator of this book, and I think students will like listening to the audiobook.

After hard working days or heavy theme read, all I want only cozy book, enjoyable thema and easy to lost into. Wild is the Witch ticked all my list and fast enough become my personal enjoyment read this week.

I never read from the author and I started this story without any expectations. Actually I like the storytelling style and the audio narration delivered well. I can feel the hint of frustration teenage witch who tried so hard to hidden her talent whole her life. How mixed her feeling about magic she love and how that make cost her old life. The plotline kinda simple and mostly going like contemporary book with hint magic here and there. All the character likeable and the loathe to lover trope is interesting enough. But extra comfy points goes for the stunning setting with all those animals and the magic around them.

Thank you Netgalley and RB Recorded Books for provided my audiobook copy. I am truly grateful and all thoughts are my own. Published date 2 Aug 2022

I was given this audiobook ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was so excited to see this book as an ARC option. I’ve been anticipating it ever since The Bookish Box announced they were doing a Special edition of it in their monthly YA box. I’ve seen others describe this story as a cosy spot on a winters day and it totally hits that mark. Set in the Pacific Northwest, it’s such a cute young adult enemies to lovers romance with a magical twist.

Iris is a witch who is having to keep her identity a secret due to the hate surrounding witches. When she gets mad at her coworker, Pike, Iris goes to the woods to use her grandma’s tactic of “giving it back to the earth”. She creates a curse to turn Pike into a mage that gets intercepted by a barn owl. Now on the hunt to track down the owl and reverse the curse, Iris and Pike adventure into the wilderness and learn more about each other, and themselves, than they anticipate.
