If you’ve read a Leslie North book before and enjoyed it, then you’ll enjoy them all! I absolutely love every single one of them, so much I only wished they were a bit longer because once you start getting into the story you won’t want to leave

Although I enjoyed this book, I didn’t think it grasped me enough to continue with the series.
I found it empowering that Sofia would stand up to Ian and knew her own mind but it was a similar story line with some slight tweaks.

A sexy romance story with a bit suspense but enjoyed every minute. Definitely a page turner and definitely would recommend. I absolutely love Ian in this story.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Sofia and Ian. They meet at a bar and have a one night stand. There was an instant attraction. A few months later they meet again when Sofia’s student has a seizure in class and is rushed to the hospital. The student is Ian’s son. Sofia tells Ian about the increase in students have medical problems in school, she thinks it drugs. Together they team up to try to stop the drugs. In the process they find out that Sofia is pregnant and fall in love.

While I generally like Leslie North's novels very much, this was only okay.

The love-story was fine (even though accidental pregnancy isn't my favorite set-up), but the whole drug cartel action did nothing for me... It felt rushed, and there were just too many details that didn't make sense.

I really hope others enjoy it more, and I look forward to reading the next one. Fingers crossed for book two being a better fit for me!

Full of intrigue and angst, I love a good SEAL book! Ian and Sofia enjoy a one night stand and part without exchanging information. They run into each other, realising their worlds are more closely linked than they knew. Short and entertaining!

Ian and Sofia have a one-night stand which was just supposed to be a one-and-done. That was until he receives a call that his son is being rushed to the hospital after having a seizure at school. Arriving at the hospital the person there with his son is Sofia. It turns out Sofia is also a chemistry teacher at the high school and is looking into the drugs being sold. She also finds out that she is pregnant with Ian’s child who is having issues with being a father but not taking care of the child. Ian is also having problems with his own teenage son. Sofia though is having more and more problems with Ian and then with the cartel until she is kidnapped. A fast quick story with good characters.

I really enjoyed this book! There were great characters and a lot of adventure. The chemistry was steamy and this was a fast read!

I can't wait to see what's next for Bronte Security Service!

I am a big fan of North and usually love her books as they are short and sweet and always full of romance. However, this one did not feel like Norths usual style. There were parts that were definitely too far fetched and I did not like any of the characters. The storyline felt to rushed unfortunately.

I enjoyed this book, but really it had some parts that were totally beyond belief. No offense, but since when does a high school chemistry teacher have access to a mass spec? Those costs 10's of thousands of dollars. That part was totally out there-but otherwise a fun read. 3.5 stars

Sophia and Ian meet in a bar, each being a wingman for their friends tinder date. They have a one night stand. Ian gets a call from his son’s school that his son had a seizure. It was laced marijuana induced. The teacher that comes with his son Gavin to the hospital is Sophia. Sophia is pregnant from their one night stand. She is worried about the drug situation at the high school.

The heroine is a smart science teacher who wants to stop the drug problem in the school. The hero is an ex navy seal who works for an investigation firm. He is struggling with civilian life. They are trying to navigate their relationship as well as the investigation. There is hot sex and danger. The book kept me on the edge of my seat. I read it in one sitting. It was great.

When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect books to snuggle up with on any day. This one took by surprise! Leslie North is one of my favorites!

I really enjoyed this read, even though it was shorter than I expected. I thought the ending was quite sudden, and I’m assuming that is because the background story in this book will continue in future books featuring other characters. I think this would be a great holiday read, a kind of feel good read, with very likeable characters. It was very well written, engaging and had an all too believable plot line. I look forward to reading the other books in this series in the future.

Another awesome SEAL book. The chemistry between Sofia and Ian was off the charts. I enjoyed their story and the plot surrounding them. Truly enjoyable and highly recommended. Loved it .

Sofia is a high school science teacher who has discovered there is a big problem going on at the school she works at. Many of her students are ending up in the hospital from tainted weed. When she has to ride in the am with one of her students she never expected the student’s dad to be her one night stand that ended up with her pregnant. Ian is shocked to see that the one he can’t get out of his mind is with his son at the hospital. His son had a seizure from using the tainted weed and he is determined to put a stop to this before anyone else gets hurt. With the help of Sofia they are able to get a great start but this has also put Sofia on the radar of the drug dealers. Will she be able to form a relationship that will last with Ian while shutting down the drug cartel?

This was a quick and easy read. I liked the characters and would enjoy reading the future novellas about the other former SEALs.

I really enjoyed this novel!

The main characters, high school teacher Sofia Popov and Navy SEAL turned security specialist Ian Campbell, were kind of awesome together. I liked their witty banter, sizzling chemistry, and their story arc. This was a solid romance novel and I found it to be well written. The plot was engaging and the pacing moved swiftly.

This book starts another fun series started by Leslie North that I cannot wait to read.

The focus of this book was split between Ian and Sofia's relationship and the drug problem at the school that Sofia works at. We got a pretty good idea of the two of them and I bought into their quickly falling in love it was done well and not like other books where it falls short and you don't feel like its realistic. It's an ice start to a new series.

This is the first book into a new series. It was ok. All of this the members are all former Navy SEALs. This story follows Ian and Sofia. Ian is a single dad of a teenage son who missed all those precious years while he was serving his country. So He gets to see him while his ex is away, but then he get’s the call from his sons school. His son is in the hospital after a seizure. At the hospital meets his sons teacher. Sofia, Ian’s one night stand and the woman who is going to have his baby.

A romance and detective story in one, after a one night stand Sofia meets Ian again when his son gets mixed up in the spiked drugs being sold in her school, as a chemistry teacher she wants to get to the bottom of who is putting her students at risk, Ian introduces her to Brontë Security services, they dig out and solve the issue, and when Sophia is kidnapped Ian and his team turn up to save the day and his girl. Nice start to a new series.
