Incredible! Weird! So much I did not see coming in this novel about grief, mental illness, and *spoiler alert* cannibalism?! So messy and intricate and gut punching. Would love to know more of this world!

I’m not sure I’m a fan of the writing style. Maybe it’s just over my head or wrong timing on my part. Also this book didn’t really feel like horror to me. I absolutely loved the cover, but it seems the cover doesn’t really match the novel.

I can see how some would really enjoy this book, but not me unfortunately.
