While I liked Carty-Williams' first book QUEENIE, I absolutely loved PEOPLE PERSON. This darkly funny book took me by complete surprise and was refreshing in a way I didn't expect. The characters are all rich and deeply fleshed out, the story has ton of heart, and the writing (as we've come to expect from the author) is smart, witty, and cuts like a knife. I can't wait to see what's next for her.
