Another great Laurel Snow thriller! Who’s behind the brutal murder of women in Genesis Valley?? My mind was reeling and I was on the edge of my seat the whole book. It doesn’t hurt that the attraction between Laurel and Huck is alway simmering in the background.
I lover every minute and can’t wait for more. 5 stars!!

YOU CAN HIDE A Laurel Snow Thriller Book 2 by Rebecca Zanetti
This second thriller in this series is just as riveting as the 1st one. Laurel and Huck are on the heels of another serial killer who is always just a step ahead of them. There's plenty of suspects, twists, and turns. I could not put this down once I started it. This highly recommended book is 5 stars.

If you are looking for an excellent mystery/ thriller, pick up any book by Rebecca Zanetti. There are many books out there where the main character is an FBI agent charged with investigating questionable murders/ crimes. But how many of them are a certified genius with a sociopathic half sister that she just discovered. Got your interest? The book gets much better as it races against time and circumstances to prove her sister is not the killer and keep from getting killed herself.

A serial killer leads Laurel and Huck on a merry chase of intrigue and nail-biting action. Definitely a read that’s hard to put down.

The small rural town in Genesis Valley forms the backdrop for the work of another serial killer. Laurel Snow is on the hunt, along with Huck Rivers, even though her office and her team are still temporary. Everything gets more complicated when Dr. Abigail Caine sticks her nose in the case.

You Can Hide is more suspense than anything, but the budding romance between Laurel and Huck provides a little something else to focus on while trying to figure out who the killer is. And good luck with that, because the identity of the killer is a tightly kept secret right until the end and I never saw that coming. As for Laurel and Huck, they slowly make their way back to each other and I love the two of them together.

Laurel’s team is growing, adding a few interesting characters to the mix. Abigail is as scary as ever.

I love how Laurel clinically analyzes complex human behaviour and breaks it down so that Huck and the other people around her have no choice but to be honest about their feelings and thoughts.

Even the ending left me breathless in anticipation for what might happen next. It’s not a cliffhanger in the usual way, but still…

I can highly recommend this series if you like suspense, with a bit of romance on the side. It is better to read the books in order. The first book does an excellent job of establishing the characters.

Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with a copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

You Can Run was the first book I’d read by Rebecca Zanetti and I loved it. The brilliant FBI profiler Special Agent Laurel Snow is a fascinating character and her first adventure completely hooked me. So I was absolutely thrilled to see Laurel (as well as Fish and Wildlife Captain Huck Rivers) back in action in You Can Hide. And I’m delighted to say it’s every bit as gripping as the first book. A new serial killer is on the loose and once again it’s up to Laurel to track them down. Also returning is Laurel’s frustratingly enigmatic half-sister. The story is riveting and the action and pacing is spot on. I look forward to seeing many more books in this series for years to come. I’d like to thank Kensington Books, Zebra and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review an eARC of You Can Hide.

Holy cow this series gets better and better! This is a page turner I could not put down until it was done! The chemistry between Laurel & Huck is not confined to just the case, but they don't let it get in the way either. I love how direct Laurel is & Huck just rolls with it. The villain was so not expected, but then made perfect sense. I cannot wait for the next book! Well done.

This series is awesome and addicting. If you love Romantic Suspence and Thriller just enjoy reading Lauren Snow series, You Can Hide is the second book.
Laurel is a great FBI agent and profiler and one of the best heroine character written by Rebecca Zanetti. She’s so unique, smart and I really love how her mind works, how Laurel puts together all the pieces , unraveling the mistery and trying to stop the serial killer working with Huck Rivers, Fish and Wildlife Captain.
I couldn’t put down the book, captured chapter after chapter and also until the end I couldn’t figure it out who was the killer, and I read a lot of this kind of story in the past.
I love Laurel character, she’s a little a social awkward kind of girl, but she’s fun to read, I like a lot her really straightforward answers and approach with people and seeing their reactions, it’is great.
I love also her interections with Huck, their bond. There’s attraction between them, an explosive chemistry, but the best part, in reading them, is to see how is growing the trust in each other.
How Huck cares for Laurel and understand her.
Huck is protective with Laurel, but he respects her, he knows she’s good to take care of herself.
Despite their feelings the investigation comes first, their priority is to stop the murderer and I loved that.
I can’t wait to read more book in this series, and find out more about Huck and Laurel and her family.
You can read You Can Hide as a standalone, but reading Laurel and Huck from the start is so much better.

5 STARS

You can hide is the second book in a new thriller series by Rebecca Zanetti. It has everything that a good book needs – murder, mystery, and romance!

This book focuses on Laurel Snow, a genius FBI profiler whose job is to track down and hunt serial killers. She goes above and beyond to make sure that her team remains a step ahead of the killers and that they keep the country and its citizens safe.

Huck Rivers is a strong leader dealing with his demons. A former soldier and a trained sniper he uses his skills to help stranded people in the wilderness of Genesis Valley.

Together, Huck and Laurel must work to save her sociopathic half-sister Abigail and the country from the evil serial killer hunting them. This book is truly spellbinding. Rebecca Zanetti creates characters with such depth that you just can't help rooting for them

You Can Hide by Rebecca Zanetti
Laurel Snow series #2. Thriller / romantic suspense. Best read in series order for character development but can be read as a stand-alone.
A female doctor has been brutally killed. She had complained to the police about a stalker. A second body has been found. Both had black dahlia petals found on their property. Laurel’s sister finds the flowers petals frozen in her yard and another doctor thinks she may have a stalker too. It’s up to Laurel and her team and plus Huck to investigate and try to prevent another murder.

Thrilling and intense. Lots of suspense, suspicion, and secrets.

Oh, that Abigail is manipulative! I read a paragraph where she convinces Laurel that Huck doesn’t want to be with Laurel. Abigail clearly knows that Laurel doesn’t understand her own jealousy and I don’t think Abigail really wants Huck other than as something that Abigail has.
This is early in the story so I don’t consider it a spoiler as much as showing Abigail’s personality and Laurel’s somewhat naive emotional understanding.

I received a copy of this from NetGalley. I also purchased all format of this book to keep and share.

OMG! This book was unputdownable! I LOVED it. I loved seeing Laurel again and her very interesting relationship with Huck! I like Laurel’s awkwardness and the way Huck embraces it. It’s endearing. This book was action packed and another one I didn’t see coming. I was completely lost in this story and I can’t recommend it enough! Rebecca took readers on a journey; there was a lot to unpack here. And not only does Laurel have to deal with finding a serial killer but home life is also interesting for her. She has to maneuver the relationship with her half sister; a relationship she doesn’t really want. Go get your copy now!

Laurel Snow is still in Genesis Valley, possibly at the end of her stay when bodies start showing up again. Though she just wrapped up a serial killer case in the same area, these murder have a new calling card with unique details typing them together. Working with the team she has cobbled together as well as Huck Rivers of the Fish and Wildlife Office, Laurel must work quickly to follow the leads, sort through the suspects, and find the killer.

Laurel is methodical, brilliant, and a talented FBI profiler. But her social skills leave her misunderstanding the personal interactions she often faces outside of cases. Her social challenges might leave her feeling awkward, but she also is comfortable asking for feedback into the situation, which makes her endearing and intriguing as she files away each detail she learns for future consideration.

Huck Rivers is protective, reserved, and dealing with the PTSD from his military days in his own ways. He is quick to step in to assist Laurel, and often marvels at the way her brain puzzles through the cases they have worked on. Together, they are an interesting pair. Both somewhat outsiders, they connect in a way they haven’t found with anyone else before.

Once again, I was sucked into this setting and story quickly and it held my attention until I had reached the end. This feels like a suspense series with a romantic angle, but not that the romance is at the center of it. There are so many twists and turns, and leads that may be important or just another red herring.

As this series develops, I can’t help but question where else these characters will take the story. Laurel’s sister, Abigail, adds an interesting (and somewhat disturbing) angle to both Laurel’s cases and her personal life. I can’t help but wonder what her end game is in all of this. This book does end with some big questions about the future and I can’t wait to see where the next book leads.

You Can Hide is the second book in the Laurel Snow trilogy.
If you have not read the first book, stop now and go read it, these books have crazy twisted plots and you'll want the background of the previous book.

Special Agent in charge Laurel Snow is back in Genesis Valley tracking another serial killer. This one likes to put on quite the display. They are targeting Drs. There are suspects coming out of the wazoo, so have fun trying to determine who the psycho is that's stalking and taunting the victims. Everyone has the potential in this one. And never fear you get more Dr. Abigail Caine and her special brand of sisterly devotion. Plus Huck is as yummy and protective as ever. Make sure you set aside enough time to read this at once as you are not going to want to stop until you know the truth.

I just love Laurel Snow. She's different. She's way too smart. She's lacking in social skills. She's just so well-written and though she doesn't realize it, she's completely lovable. Huck is perfect for her because he doesn't see the odd, or maybe he isn't concerned with the odd since I doubt much goes unnoticed by Huck.. He's fascinated with all the other parts of him. Huck is healing and definitely getting better but Laurel isn't about fixing him or rushing his recovery. She likes him fine the way he is. These two and their attraction are just a side note to this vastly interesting suspense story. Again, in just a short time after her last case, Laurel's small hometown is in the center of a serial killer's stalking grounds. Again, women are being murdered but with no discernible commonality except their brains. Laurel is stumped and she's not used to nor likes being stumped.

I loved seeing everyone from the first novel back. I missed the teenagers this time though they're still helping some. Laurel's half-sister is back and is so adamant to get close to Laurel. And maybe get close to Huck. She's a distraction. Is she also being stalked? Is she the murderer? What is she?

I absolutely love this kind of story where the suspense and mystery are the main focus and a slow-burn romance is brewing. Zanetti has really given us a lot to enjoy in this book!

Thanks to the author, the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC.

Edge of your seat suspense, a thrilling mystery with a touch of romance…. You Can Hide is a wild read.

Laurel Snow is not your average female lead character and I think that’s one of the things I like most about her. She is beyond smart and holds more degrees than several people combined. She doesn’t see the world as the average person does. She doesn’t experience emotion in the same way that you were I would. It’s almost as if she can separate herself from them. It’s not that she doesn’t feel them. They’re just not the same to her as they are to us. With that being said, she is one of the best profilers the FBI could ever have on their side.

You Can Hide is truly a suspenseful read. It’s thrilling with a touch of romance and a lot of things that are making you think. There’s a psychological aspect to this one that really draws the reader into the story and makes them really pay attention. Or was that just me? Rebecca Zanetti takes readers on a journey of mind-boggling events that I thought I had figured out only to find out I was wrong. I liked the progression of Laurel and Huck’s relationship. With both their personalities, I felt that this was gonna be one that moved a little slow, but yet be intense at the same time. I enjoyed seeing them make the next step.

If you were looking for a read, that will have you on the edge of your seat and make you think look no further. You Can Hide will do all that for you and a bit more. I highly recommend going back and reading the first book in the series, You Can Run. I promise you you will not be disappointed.

This is the second book in the Laurel Snow series. While you don’t have to read the first to enjoy this book it will help. ( and it is an amazing story so, read it) I really am loving the dynamic between Laurel and Buck, the way they work together as partners, their outlook on life and their continuing dedication to stopping the killer. And of course their chemistry continues to be off the charts. There are so many twists to the plot that I definitely didn't see the ending coming. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, it can't come fast enough for me

I really like this series; murder, mystery, quirky characters, and suspense! With a dash of romance! Although, if Huck is going to be a wimp about how he feels about Laurel, I’m down for her to find someone who understands her better; I’m not tied to having them together. I want some more passion between these two! I did warm more towards the idea of them by the end of the story, so we’ll see. I like Laurel’s quirks and her sass. I like that she calls people out; it’s mostly because she doesn’t get certain things, but I appreciate her not taking any guff. There’s a serial killer on the loose and Laurel’s on the case! There’s plenty of possible suspects; including Laurel’s not so pleasant newfound sister. Love that each book has a different case to solve. Entertaining read! Looking forward to the next book!!

4.25 stars!

You Can Run released this week and I wanted to leave my review. Everyone needs to jump on the train and start this series because they’re so damn good. . I actually read my ARC way back in August immediately after I was approved. I think about this series occasionally, and I tell myself “dammit, why did I have to read the arc months before the book releases because I’m already ready for book three.”

And you can bet I will be requesting an ARC for book three.

Okay. Let’s talk about the actual book.

You Can Hide picks up a few weeks after the conclusion of book one, You Can Run. This is a continuing series so you definitely need to read book one before hopping into book two.

This book follows a new murder mystery with the same characters from You Can Run: Captain Huck Rivers and Laurel Snow.

These books truly do it for me because Huck and Laurel are such a great partnership. Huck and Laurel value the strengths of one another. I never felt like Huck was smothering Laurel, quite the opposite in fact, he valued her intelligence and the way she thinks.

Huck and Laurel have a slow burn romance brewing and I’m DYING for book three because the events of this book really foreshadowed a romance in book three.

It’s obvious Huck and Laurel have feelings brewing even though they’re in denial and have their own internal issues they need to work through. There are a few little moments where we see a jealous Huck. And the little moments where Huck protects Laurel as his partner, friend, and potential love interest.

I really appreciate that Huck and Laurel are two nature characters who communicate with each other. And I loved how Huck defended Laurel when she was called “different” and “weird.” Love that man. So excited to see what is in store for their romance in book three.

I only give it 4.25 stars because I thought the ending and climax confrontation with the murderer was a bit rushed. I thought there could have been just 10-15 more pages of development to this part and it would’ve been a stronger conclusion.

All I have left to say is…WHEN CAN I REQUEST BOOK THREE????

This is the second book in the Laurel Snow Thriller series. In this particular series, it would probably be better to read the first book before reading this one because of the backstory about Dr. Abigail Caine, Laurel's sister. Laurel did not grow up with her sister.

Laurel is a genius who started college when she was 11. Because she was a child who was mostly around adults, she didn't have the experiences most people have growing up - crushes on boys, dating, hanging out with a group of friends. She earned degrees instead, and her social skills are not the best. She is an FBI profiler, and has been called in to investigate a series of grisly murders. Several women have been found dead, with their faces mutilated and missing their hands, with flowers strewn around them on the snow. Laurel is once again teamed up to work with Fish and Wildlife Captain Huck Rivers. I was puzzled by that at first, but he is also a police captain with all the training and authority. The investigation is painstaking but the killer has left few clues.

Laurel's sister was introduced in the first book. Abigail is very different from her sister. She is a psychiatrist and excellent at manipulating people. She is also a sociopath and fixated on her sister, who doesn't trust her. Abigail tells Laurel that she thinks that she is also being stalked. The suspense ratchets up as the body counts gets larger. I did not guess who the killer was, and I usually do. There were clues that pointed to several people and I guessed the wrong one.

I received a review copy of this book from the publisher Kensington Books (Zebra) via Netgalley, and voluntarily read and reviewed it.

4.25stars—YOU CAN HIDE is the second instalment in Rebecca Zanetti’s contemporary, adult LAUREL SNOW suspense thriller focusing on FBI Special Agent Laurel Snow. YOU CAN HIDE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion as their is an ongoing plot line throughout.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from several third person perspectives YOU CAN HIDE follows FBI profiler Laurel Snow as she is temporarily posted to Genesis Valley and Witch Creek in Northern Washington State where she, and Fish and Wildlife Captain Huck Rivers find themselves focusing on the possibility of another serial killer. When Huck and Laurel begin their investigation, a pattern emerges wherein all of the victims are intelligent women with doctorate degrees. As our couple dig deeper into the lives of the victims, secrets reveal a possible connection to Laurel’s half-sister Abigail, a woman whose own proclivities are not as they appear. With the number of murder suspects and victims growing at an alarming rate, Laurel is at a loss, frustrated with the lies that are impeding their murder investigation. Everyone is suspect; the motives are numerous; the behavior is questionable from the Mayor to the local high school bad boys. The small town lives and mentality begin to shake Laurel at her core but when she and Huck become the target of the killer, Laurel thinks she knows who is controlling from the top.

Meanwhile, Laurel’s relationship with Huck Rivers becomes fodder for the local gossips and podcaster. Laurel appears to be on the autism spectrum, a woman with several degrees and doctorates who struggles with basic day to day interactions, often missing clues about her own personal behavior. Huck struggles with issues of PTSD. A former sniper, Huck wanted a quieter life but life in Washington State is anything but calm.

YOU CAN HIDE is a slow building story line that keeps you on the edge of your seat; an intriguing story of secrets and lies, power and control, betrayal and vengeance, manipulation and obsession, frustration and murder. The dramatic premise is thrilling, compelling and captivating; the characters are numerous, determined and desperate.
