Book #5 in the Wicked series, co written by Lisa Jackson and her sister, Nancy Bush. Whether reading one of their collaberations, these ladies are very good at building the characters, the community and the plots into excellent thrillers that keep readers engaged and guessing right up to the end. Wicked Dreams pits Ravina Rutledge and Detective Nev Rhodes against an ingenius killer who is trying to kill Ravina's family. As the troy unwinds, the tension builds and this reader had to turn a couple of more lights on to finish. Another great 5 star read from Jackson and Bush.

Ravinia moved away from the Colony, to start a new life, a job and to escape the past. When she returns there is a body on beach. Ravinia's number and a note saying, next of kin. The detective that is on the case doesn't believe Ravinia when she says she doesn't know the man. Ravinia and her sisters are afraid of man from their past named Goodtime Charlie who is bound and determined to rid the Colony of the Siren Song Woman. Ravinia needs to team up with the lead detective to solve the mysterious deaths that are happening.
I always been a big fan of Lisa Jackson and an added bonus was Nancy Bush. I love thrillers and well written stories. This book did not disappoint. The story kept me at the edge of my seat, and I wanted to rush to get to the end. Great characters and a well written plot.

Love these authors and love this novel. It is a great thriller that I couldn’t put down and did scared the crap out of me. Definitely a book. I would highly recommend that you read, especially around Halloween.

A unbelievable physcological thriller with twists you won't see coming. The settings and atmosphere are very spooky and left me with goosebumps.

"Wicked Dreams" by Lisa Jackson and Nancy Bush is a suspenseful novel with an intriguing premise. The story follows a protagonist haunted by her past and determined to uncover the truth behind a series of disturbing events. While the book has its moments of suspense and tension, the plot can become convoluted, making it challenging to fully immerse oneself in the story. Additionally, some characters feel underdeveloped, leading to a lack of emotional connection. Overall, "Wicked Dreams" falls short of its potential, but it may still appeal to readers seeking a light thriller.

Full disclosure - this is the first book of this series that I've read. However, I don't think that lessened my enjoyment. Since I'm not fully sure what would be a spoiler from pervious books, I'll keep my review vague on the story specifics. I enjoyed this story and the interesting cast of characters. I thought that the characters were well written and fun to follow. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this book and thought that it was well paced. There were definitely some twists and turns along, keeping the reader on their toes the way as the suspense builds.
I'm excited to go back and read the first books in this series to see if they give me a different perspective.

I really enjoyed this finale to the Wicked series! The setting, characters, and plot were a perfect send off to a series full of jaw dropping twists and turns. I really enjoy Jackson’s suspenseful writing and was sad to watch this series come to its conclusion. Well done!

I went into this book not knowing that it was the conclusion of the series. I was extremely sad after I found that out. This is one of my favorite series from these amazing sister authors and I will miss the women of Siren Song.

With the possible reappearance of Charlie, the women are now on guard. With all signs starting to point to his return, Ravinia starts to try and figure out Charlie's past and how they can possibly stop him before it's too late.

A fast paced thrill ride that will leave you craving for more. Definitely a fitting end to an amazing series.

I did not realize that this was part of a collection of books written about the "Colony" and I will need to go back someday and read the rest of the books to learn more about these characters and their backstories and learn about some of the characters that didn't make it into this book. With that said, you did not need to read the previous books to be able to enjoy this mystery. I appreciated that we jump right into the story with a body washing up on shore and we just kept moving through this twisty story of intertwined families and histories.

Looking forward to reading more books from Lisa Jackson & Nancy Bush.

Full disclosure - I just read the last book first! And it still worked! I will go back and read beginning of this series.

This book is full of twists and turns. Great characters. The cult-like Colony is definitely interesting.

I look forward to reading the beginning of the series!

I enjoyed this book. It’s the first one in this series that I’ve read. It’s pretty suspenseful but I wish there was more romance. Loved how there’s some psychic abilities in this book. Loved getting multiple points of view. Loved wondering how it will end, so many twists. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy and I recommend this book.

Lisa Jackson and Nancy Bush return readers to the setting of Sisters of Suspense in this gripping thriller.
Readers follow members of The Colony and outsiders as they explore a series of random but connected murders.

* I received an advanced reader’s copy of this book from NetGalley and Kensington Books in exchange for my honest review

An interesting enough story full of family drama and secrets with a splash of the supernatural.
There are quite a few characters and it was a little tough for me to keep them all straight, I was not familiar with the previous books in this series, so I was clearly missing a lot of background, but I was still able to follow along.

Thank you Kensington Books, Lisa Jackson, and Nancy Bush for the digital ARC of this novel via NetGalley.

This book is the final novel in a series. I didn't realize that. There is plenty of explanation so you don't necessarily have to read the others but I think I'll go back and read them.

It's a crime novel with a supernatural element. Some people call it a cult but Ravinia just calls them the siren song. She's not lying about the body lying on the slab but Detective Rhodes seems to believe she is.

The plot is lengthy but stick with it. It's a novel you can get lost in!

This is not a typical Lisa Jackson novel that I'm used to but enjoyed it nonetheless.

Thanks to netgalley and Kensington books for this ARC! I really enjoyed it.

Wicked Dreams by Lisa Jackson and Nancy Bush is the conclusion of The Colony series that they have been writing together for a number of years. I have mixed feelings about this book. It has almost all of the members of The Colony that we have met in previous books and it wraps up old ties but this series has gone on so long it was hard to remember a lot of the things that had taken place in the past and who everyone really was so it was hard to really connect with the book totally. Yes, they gave you some past history but there was so much history in this series it was hard to soak it all in for a farewell book to really enjoy it like it should have been. Too much time had past between books for me to really feel the good bye.
Overall, this book was ok for me but I just could not fall in love with it.
Wicked Dreams only gets three out of five stars from me.

Wicked Dreams was a mixture of Witchery, fantasy, murder and revenge. The problem I had with this book was the confusing multitude of characters. It was difficult to keep track of the familial relationships, thus causing me confusion and a lack of interest.
Sorry, I didn’t enjoy this book.
2 stars for the author’s effort
Thank you NetGalley, and Kensington publishing for the advanced copy in return for my honest review.

Would like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for letting me read this absorbing book

The finale in this series and it keeps you on your toes

The murders and intrigue go hand in hand with Charlie back on the rampage with killing on his mind and as the body count rises the colony have to gather their strengths to meet the threat coming their way

What an ending to this series

I have a penchant for honing in on books that are in the last part of a series, Wicked Dreams is the final installment in the series. A strange group exists on an island off the Oregon coast and it’s residents have an uneasy relationship with the community.
It took me quite awhile to sort out everything that was occurring because there was so much to digest.
Charlie was complete reprehensible. I liked Nev the best.
I enjoyed the lady part the best, the explanation Of how the colony came into existence, but the story is still creepy and bizarre.
