Living A Miraculous Life

Kynan Bridges states that all his life, he wondered about God and the supernatural, from the first time he read the Bible, he knew intuitively there must be something more to this world than what he could see with his natural eyes. What are miracles? The author states that the Biible says that Jesus of Nazareth was “approved” of God by miracles, signs and wonders. “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know” (Acts 2: 22 KJV).

Kynan Bridges states that one of the most powerful keys to releasing miracles as exemplified by our Lord, is the key of compassion. The Bible says, “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd” (Matthew 9: 36). He, further, states that we must spend time in prayer so that we can cultivate the heart of God, because there is a connection between love and miracles.

Throughout this book the author talks about keys to walking in the supernatural power of God, primarily the importance of faith, and that he wants the readers to establish a foundation for what biblical faith is and why it is so necessary. He quotes the following scripture: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (11: 1).

The author discusses the fact that our faith starts and ends with Jesus, stating that He is the Source; He is the “chief cornerstone” (Ephesians 2: 20). He states thst not only must we have a solid knowledge of the Word of God, but we must respond to the Word of God with corresponding actions stating that James said, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves ” (James 1: 22). He also said, “Faith without works is dead” (2: 20).

The author provides the following practical steps to help readers acquire faith that isrooted in the Word of God:
1. Study and meditate on the Word of God.
2. Ask God to speak to you through His Word.
3. Release your faith for what He has promised.
4. Act on the directives and promptings of the Holy Spirit.
5. Thank Him for the manifestation of His Word.
6. Repeat.

The author discusses many other keys to walking in the supernatural power of God, such:
1. Hearing God’s Voice and obeying His Word. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10: 27
2. Prayer is our spiritual power source. "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5: 16 (KJV)
3. Action Activates Miracles, take the leap. "Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus." Matthew 14: 28– 29

The author discusses many other aspects and qualities that we need to possess and act on in order to release the power of miracles in our lives on a daily basis.

I enjoyed reading this book, especially, the fact that the author supports his his writing with pertinent scripture. As Kynan states Ready, Set, Go, and he provides the following practical steps for walking in the miraculous:
1. Availability
2. Belief
3. Compassion
These are but a few steps discussed.

The author provides summary questions and a heart-warming Miracle Activation Prayer at the end of each chapter. Highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to gain a better way of living by faith and learning to have more compassion through love.
