A book about accountability, which is of special interest to me, because of my work as an auditor! A surprisingly engaging read about how to take control or your choices and your life.

This book, Nobody Cares by Salem Thyne and Robert Hunt, is my 25th book I’ve read this year (2023).

Let me begin by saying this book is about accountability. To be honest, I didn’t have much expectation for this book. I thought it would be beyond boring. Accountability is not the most interesting topic to read or write about.

My expectations were blown away while reading this book. I’d like to say that if there was a guide to life, this book is it. I learned so many tools and gained valuable insight.

What I enjoyed the most were all the analogies, examples and exercises throughout the book. The main analogy was that being successfully accountable comes in stages, much like going up a steep mountain.

One of the other main premises of the book was that accountability is necessary to go from a victim to a victor. This concept is not only important in the business world, but also our personal lives.

I am beyond grateful that I chose to read this book. I learned so much.

This may be my favorite self-help book I’ve read (and if you know me, I read a LOT of them). Definitely giving this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I am so grateful to NetGalley, Salem Thyne & Robert Hunt (the authors) and Advantage Media (the publisher) for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.
