The file never opened despite my telling Netgalley. I cannot review it unfortunately, though I really enjoy Guillem March's work

I got the collected Laura stories from Net Galley. The art is exceptional. The story, which is supposed to be a slice of life thing, is just, meh. The Irene story is the best one and it puts the Laura stories into perspective but still, this all feels a bit too leery.

Honestly? Guillem March isn't a comic creator that I typically gravitate towards. His work in DC wasn't my thing, but I did kind of like his indie series 'Karmen'.

While 'Laura & Other Stories' isn't something I personally loved, I didn't dislike reading it either. The art is good and I think the story will hit better for someone else.

I couldn't review this, as the file only contained the cover. I contacted NetGalley about this, who said they contacted the publisher, but as far as I know the file never was updated.

Difficult to review this, as only the cover downloaded. I reached out to NetGalley, who said they'd contact the publisher to fix the corrupt file, but nothing was fixed. NetGalley also is unable/unwilling to remove the glitched file from my account, so I have to leave a review for something I didn't actually read. Seems unethical to me, but apparently that's the policy here so:

The cover is very brightly yellow, with a well-written synopsis and two images that I found intriguing and informative as to the setting of the graphic novel.

Unreadable. I reached out to Net Galley that there was a problem with the file and they said they'd reach out to the publisher to get it fixed. It was never fixed. So I'm going to rate what I was able to read which was just the cover and a splash page.

Thank you so much Netgalley for approving my request but there's a tiny problem. The story isn't actually included. The blurb sounds amazing, the cover is quite pretty and I would have loved to read the book. A bit disappointed.

Despite contacting Netgalley and Diamond, I never got a version of this file containing the contents, only the cover. Mark is an average because I can't get this off the 'give feedback' shelf without one.

Laura is a young woman who cannot understand why the feelings she has for a boy isn’t in love with her but with another gal. She wonders if something is wrong with her. “Laura” is an investigation of the mind of a young woman who has experienced something most people have. Another story is “Irene” explores the nature of inspiration and creating art outside of one’s comfort zone. . “Muse” is about an artist’s search for a model ends up showing how a young woman is seen by her male roommates’ perception.

It’s an interesting book. It held my attention especially “Irene” and “Muse.” The artwork is beautiful. In”Laura,” it is unusual to find a story about unrequited love that feels honest in it’s telling of the doubt one can have about it.

My review copy was corrupted and I was unable to view anything past the cover :( Goodreads is making me give a star rating so I am giving 3 becuase I think I would have given at least that had I been able to read it.

Was unable to read it as the ARC only provided the cover page and the back page... sadly. Would've really enjoyed the chance to read this.

Cannot give review because the download did not let me read any of the content, it was merely a preview of the cover and the back of the book.

Life, sometimes, can just be that magical combination of awkward and amazing. What lovely tales. Wish to see more of Laura.

I just downloaded the graphic novel on the Netgalley Shelf app but I can only see the cover.
(Obviously the rating is not for the graphic novel that I could not read but for the format)

Much like the previous review pointed out, the downloaded copy only shows the front and back cover of March's graphic novel.

This book download only shows the front and back covers on the NetGalley app. It is improperly formatted, just a green square is below it, equaling two pages of content.
