Fasten your seat belts. Finlay Donovan is back and wants all the world to know she’s not a killer for hire! Finlay is already under a certain amount of pressure. Feliks Zhirov, the Russian mobster arrested because of what she told the police, demands that she identify EasyClean, the online contract killer he’s been mistaken for, before Zhirov’s trial begins in two weeks. And he isn’t kidding, Realizing when she sees evidence that one of Zhirov’s people is stalking her nanny, Veronica Ruiz, and her two kids. Vero has problems of her own, since she’s borrowed $200,000 from Marco, a loan shark with teeth, to pay off her other creditors, and the only way she has to raise that kind of money is to liquidate a slightly bullet-ridden Aston Martin she and Finn acquired less than legally in Finlay Donovan Knocks ’Em Dead (2022). How could things possibly get worse? As always Finlay Donovan is a delight to read, funny, fast paced and filled with a lot of action, it is a must read book!
Thank you Netgalley and Minotaur for the ARC in exchange of my honest review.

Love this series! So funny and the perfect cozy mystery with a bit of romance. Love all the side characters and I always laugh at these books!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Elle Cosimano for providing me with a complimentary digital ARC for Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun. The honest opinions expressed in this review are my own.
I’m loving this series! It feels like cozy mysteries with a little more grit. There’s always a lot going on. I enjoy the hijinks and shenanigans. Finlay and Vero are a fun duo. The Russian plot was fun. There was probably more filler in this book, but I still love the series. I’m excited to read more!
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys murder mysteries!

This book was super fun! It wasn't my favorite in the series but I loved watching Finlay and Vero go to the police academy for the citizen's competition and try and figure out who was the hitman. Like always, this was a super fun, super hilarious, super fast read!

Finlay and Vero are back! And this time, taking part in a civilian police academy, getting some “research” done for Finlay’s next book…or are they?
Still on the hunt for EZ Clean, they get in and out all sorts of situations you don’t expect from your average single mom of two and her nanny.
Just like in previous books, this one is funny and addicting trying to solve the mystery right along with the characters!
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book!

I really enjoyed the third book in the Finlay Donovan series. I thought it was fun to get a bit of a change of scenery, but appreciated that we still have the same great characters to follow. The story continues the situationship that Finlay has found herself in from the first in the series, and it gets even more twisted. I enjoyed that we got more of "hot cop" Nick in this book and love to see Finlay's relationship with him bloom a bit more. And, as always, I love the mix of Vero and her quick wit in the book. I enjoyed this third book and know that I will certainly continue to read this series because it is so good!
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced readers copy of this book. All opinions within this review are my own.

the weakest of the 4 of the series that I’ve read so far. While still fun, I didn’t have the urgency to find out what happens next like I did with the other 3.

This is the third book in the Finlay Donovon series. Finlay has to repay a debt to the Russian mob after a favor they did for her in the past. This book has much of the same charm as the first two books. It’s best if you spread these books out and read them when you start missing the characters. I do recommend this book if you’re a fan of the series. It’s a solid sequel.
Thank you, NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press / Minotaur Books for allowing me to read a copy of this book. The opinion in this review is my own.

Another fun installment in the series but I still do not like the main character as a person. Who is watching the kids - is she a mom or does she just liek complaining about how she needs more money to raise them?

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a free copy of this ebook to review. All opinions are my own.
Finlay is a master at getting herself into and out of trouble. Looking forward to more crazy antics.

Like always this series just becomes more absurd and Im here for it. I love how trouble never stops for this wild crew.
Thank you NetGalley and St. Martin's Press/Minotaur Books

This installment in one of the best new series to come out is even better than the last two; I didn’t think that was possible. Absolutely hysterical moments that had me literally laughing out loud, and this book is actually extremely suspenseful as well. Just a perfect combo for a perfect read! Finlay feels like an old friend at this point.
Thanks for the “read now” option. I hope the series finds new readers!

Took a while for me to get into this one because it's been almost two years since I read Finlay Donovan, so there was a lot I didn't remember. It took so time for this one to really get going and serve as its own book, but once the ball was rolling, it was a grand old time. All that is to say: Finlay and Vero, I missed y'all.

Finlay Donovan is at it again, and I couldn’t love her more! Between accidentally wrecking a luxury car, getting tangled with the Russian mob, and joining a citizen’s police academy, she somehow juggles it all—while still making me laugh out loud at every turn.
This book was just as fantastic as the first in the series, maybe even better than the second. I adored Nick in this one—his character development and deeper role in the story were exactly what I was hoping for. And Vero was an absolute perfection. She’s wild, unpredictable, and had me in stitches with her antics. The dynamic between her and Finlay is the heart of the series, and it’s as strong as ever here.
I loved the police academy setting. It gave the story a fresh twist with new challenges and hilarious moments while driving the mystery forward. The mix of suspense, action, humor, and romance is spot-on. And that ending? A total cliff-hanger—I’m already dying for the next book!
If you’ve read the first two, you’re going to love this one. If not, start with book one and enjoy the ride! Highly recommend for anyone who loves clever, funny mysteries with a side of chaos.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Man Elle can do no wrong with this series! Just love it. Face paced and fun! Love the characters. Can't wait to read the rest in the series.

Finlay and Vero are back, and let me tell you, they seriously cannot stay out of trouble. From the first page, I was like, how do they even get themselves into these situations? Russian mobsters, sketchy deals, and a citizen's police academy?? It's giving total chaos in the best way.
The antics? Totally over-the-top, but that's why we love these two, right? I mean, what even is a boring day for Finlay and Vero? The camp scenes were chef's kiss hilarious, and yes, there’s some serious sleuthing mixed with their usual shenanigans. Also, the little sprinkle of romance? Let’s just say the “hot cop” doesn’t disappoint. 😉
That said, it wasn't my absolute fave in the series. Some parts felt a teensy bit like filler, and I kind of missed the spark from earlier books. But honestly, it’s still SO fun and perfect if you’re in the mood for something light and laugh-out-loud funny.
Big thanks to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Book 3 in the series is just as madcap as books 1 and 2. Vero and Finlay are trying to discover who "EasyClean" is and they are given an ultimatum by Feliks, a Russian mob boss.
Vero and Finlay continue to look for EasyClean while trying not to let Nick, the "hot cop" know what is happening. No cop is above suspicion
I love Finlay and all her escapades. They are more outlandish in each book, but always fun! Looking forward to the next adventure!

Elle Cosimano and Finlay Donovan can do no wrong! All her books just leave me wanting more and more. By far, one of my favorite series!

I love, love, love the Finlay Donovan series. It's relatable, comical, thrilling and a LOT of fun. I'm very excited to re-read these in anticipation of Finlay Donovan Digs Her Grave. Publishing March 4, 2025!
Thank you NetGalley and St Martin's Press for re-opening the series, including the new upcoming book, for download!

well it’s for the fans of Finlay. 3rd book in what we can know definitely call a series and it’s clear there will be more. If you liked first two books, you will like this one, too. I adore the humor :)
