I also love catching back up with Finlay and Vero. They are my favorite dynamic duo. I've always been team Nick, but this book solidified my love for him.
Can't wait to read the next one!
I received a copy for free, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you, Netgalley, for the ARC!
Finally, I am here to finish (or catch) up on this series.
Again, I loved seeing Finlay and Vero back in action. Their friendship is one of the bests I’ve read and their adventures at the police academy was incredibly funny. I definitely enjoyed the academy training plot more than the previous book. I loved the first book a lot and this one could match that for me (second book was alright).
Even if there wasn’t a B-plot, I would’ve loved a whole book centred on Finlay and Vero at the police academy.
I couldn’t put this one down. I was so much more invested in Finlay’s romance with Nick this time. (I don’t know why he was so much hotter in this book than the last two). I’m hoping we get some serious development in the next book.

I am addicted to the adventures of Finlay and Vero! Elle Cosimano did not disappoint me with her third installment. I laughed out loud several times and found myself on edge hoping for Finlay and Vero's safety. I will definitely be recommending this book to my reader friends. I want to go to Atlantic City with both of them!

4 stars
Probably my least favorite book in the series so far. Finlay and Vero find themselves at like a cop boot camp with their neighbors (is that a thing in real life?) where they are there to find out the real identity of Easy Clean (I listened to the audio not sure if I spelled that correctly). Finlay finds herself distracted by Felicks the mob boss, the antics of her children and her ex, and the hot cop Nick.
Sadly, of the love triangle set up in book one, Finlay seems to be choosing Nick and it honestly is taking away from my overall enjoyment of the book. Aside from his career choice, there’s also just something off about his character that I don’t like. The antics of Finlay’s children and her banter with Vero are what saved this book and series for me. I for sure will read whatever comes next, but this third book wasn’t as good as the first two (but it was still darn good!).

I keep reading this series expecting to feel half as good as I did reading the first. Unfortunately, these follow ups aren't cutting it.

This copy was kindly given to me by the publisher and Netgalley for review. All opinions are my own.
I seriously love this series. It is fast paced, hilarious and just out right fun. I recommend this series to patrons where I work all the time if they want a mystery that isn't too serious. I found myself laughing out loud and finished this book in just a day. I loved the slight cliff hanger and am excited to read the next in the series

I love Finlay and Vero, and this third book was no exception! They were up to some good, and some bad and I loved the side romance in between! I’m soooo excited Elle Cosimano gets to write MORE Finlay and I’m pumped to continue reading this series!

I love Finlay Donovan and her hijinks. No matter how hard she tries, she just can’t stay out of trouble. She doesn’t look for it, it finds her.
I can’t wait for the installment! If you haven’t read the Finlay Donovan books yet, please start with the first and enjoy!

This was okay. I think it was better than the second book in the series, but not as good as the first book!
There was romance, action, and some funny parts throughout this book— but you definitely need to read this after reading the first two. The ending left me intrigued, but I’m unsure if I will continue with the series.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced digital copy of this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Not my favorite of the series but Elle is just so fantastic at combining a variety of genres into one and creating this fantastical world. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

Continuing the fun, witty, and out their story. This third book in the series is a bit more “unbelieveable” than the first two but I still found it so fun.
Hoping it turns into a fourth!

These books are fun! This one took place at a “citizen’s police academy?” Which was weird? But I already understand that these books are completely unrealistic HAHA.

Loved this book and love this series!! Elle is so wonderful, she never disappoints! It was so much fun to read

Are something’s a little far fetched? Yes but I absolutely love the shenanigans that Vera and Finlay get into. The first book is still my favorite just due to the amount of humor but the Third book was still enjoyable. Of course the book ends with a major cliff hanger in what their next adventure will be and I can’t wait! Thank you NetGalley for a free e-book in return for my honest review.

finlay donovan books are always so much fun to read. you truly just have to lean into the absurdity of these situations and enjoy the ride! for me, i felt like this one dragged in the middle a bit and some of the ways finlay and vero found information seemed a little too easy and convenient. i did like that we got to dig into vero's past a little more and i'm looking forward to learning more about her in the next one. i do also want to note that there is lots of cop activity in this one (they literally go to a police academy and i didn't realize, because i didn't read the description before getting the book), so do with that what you will.
**thank you minotaur and netgalley for the eARC!

The third installment of the Finlay series definitely picks up — and because there is more action, I felt a lot more invested in this storyline. I was very confused on what a citizen police camp was though — is that a real thing? Do they really trust random people to attend a camp and learn firearms and other police tactics??
Just like Finlay’s editor, I also agreed with having more of the hot cop in the story and enjoyed the tension of having Steven still have feelings for Finlay, and Finlay choosing between Julian and Nick.
This one still didn’t compare to how much I enjoyed the first book, but I am excited that the series continues!
* Thank you to NetGalley and Minotaur books for this eBook ARC in exchange for my honest review. *

Finlay and Vero are back, back again! This is such a fun series and continues into this book. I really enjoyed the setting of this one in the policy academy. I found myself laughing constantly at Finlay and Vero's antics. I loved the twist at the end and only saw it coming a few pages before it happened. I also loved watching Finlay and Nick's friendship blossom.
Thank you Netgalley, Elle Cosimano and Minotaur books for the eARC!

Thank you to Netgalley and Minotaur books for the ARC of this book!
It was so much fun to be back with Finlay and Vero again! You have to suspend some reality to enjoy these books, but once you do – delightful.

Thank you Minotaur and NetGalley for the gifted copy of Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun! All opinions in this review are my own.
I absolutely loved Finlay Donovan is Killing It so it's hard for other books in the series to live up to it. While it is difficult to capture the hilariousness and general chaos of the first book in the series, Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun is a close second.
I liked the closed environment setting of the police training facility for this book. While there are parts of the novel that don't take place there, it kept the story from getting too large and outlandish, which the second book suffered from.
Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun combines hilarious moments with a mystery to deliver a fast paced read!

The Finlay Donovan series just keeps bringing the entertainment! I was so happy to dive back into the world of Finlay and Vero! It’s still laugh out loud funny with serious and thought provoking moments! I can’t wait for the FOURTH installment because this is a series I’ll forever love!!
