City boy meets country girl. This friends to lovers, who start off as roommates whilst backpacking in Spain is the fourth installment of The Miles High Club, and in my opinion Swan has saved the best till last.

Christopher has his own reasons for embarking, incognito for twelve months on his travels, however he soon realises that the life of a backpacker is far more chaotic than the privileged life he had been fortunate enough to be living, up until his recent sabbatical. He soldiers on with things and amidst the chaos he makes friends with the others he bunks alongside, there’s one in particular who catches his attention, Hayden Whitmore and despite their initial clashing they go on to become more than just friends.

Falling in love wasn’t something Christopher nor Hayden had anticipated, but as their relationship progresses, love blossoms for the pair. During their twelve months backpacking there’s lots of back and forth banter between themselves and others, honestly you’ll feel as though you’re amongst good friends whilst reading this, you’ll laugh and you’ll cry, your heart may even hurt a little, but it’s all worth it, I promise. We also get to witness the brotherly love and banter between the Miles siblings along with a brief yet entertaining interaction with the whole family when Christopher and Hayden return stateside, introductions are made to Hayden’s family also as the pair have some decisions to be made which are then followed by issues they need to overcome, which they do in a realistic way even though they do take their time in doing so. Then there’s Eddie… Eddie, Eddie, Eddie 🥹🥰 I dare you not to fall in love with that boy, you’ll fail, he will steal your heart just as he has done mine. Eddie captures the hearts of Christopher and Hayden, he plays a fundamental part of the story and their journey together, especially towards the end.

I loved everything and more about The Do-Over, it’s my favourite book from the series, and I’m sorry Tristan you’ve been evicted from the top spot, Christopher and that filthy mouth of his has taken poll position as my Miles man. I highly recommend this book, the whole series in-fact, if you haven’t already started read it now, you won’t be disappointed.

This is the forth book of the Miles High Club Series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but you’ll enjoy the banter between the four Miles brothers and cameos from T.L. Swan’s Mr. series a lot more if you read in order.

Dual PoV/Friends to Lovers/Slow Burn

Christopher Miles is 31 and the youngest of the four Miles brothers, running their successful worldwide operating family media group, Miles Media, with them. He is entitled, insanely rich, insanely good looking, a player, who never had a serious relationship in his life, and having women practically falling at his feet. His life feels great. Until it doesn’t. Something starts to feel shallow, culminating in a meeting with his three older brothers, all reformed players who are now happily married, two with kids, harassing him for being way too selfish to have a family himself.

Christopher feels hurt and misunderstood. He feels he needs to prove something and makes a snap decision to take up on an old idea to take a one-year sabbatical going undercover, with no name and money to him.

Hayden Whitmore is 25 and the only child of hardworking farmers in upstate New York. She is still not fully over the breakup with her high school sweetheart two years ago. She believes in romantic forever love and abhorres players. She had booked her flight to Europe for a gap year as a distraction to the break-up and nearly refuses to go, but her mom and best friend fiercely insist.

Let’s just say Christopher and Hayden’s first encounter in a backpacker hostel in Barcelona isn’t exactly ideal… but it doesn’t take long for both to realise there is more to their relationship and they genuinely like to spend time with each other. Hayden blocks Christopher’s advances for more than friendship for quite some time as she senses that giving in could easily end their friendship and she ends up just being one of his numerous forgotten conquests. But Christopher for the first time ever wants to prove he is more than that. And Hayden learns to live in the moment with Christopher, being less uptight and just go with it.

It is a sweet love story and I adored Christopher and Hayden and I loved how protective and territorial Christopher could get in regard to Hayden, whom he lovingly nicknamed Grumpy or Grumps.

There was just a little downside to the story and nearly took the fifth star away: Sometimes Christopher acts like a child in a tantrum, it was unbelievable, I could have beaten him up, like is he truly 31 or just 5? Honestly, how did he ever hold a key position in a world wide company with that attitude before this trip? He makes up for it in a big way though in the end.

Except for that little flaw I truly enjoyed the story and highly recommend it. If you have not done so yet, indulge in the complete Miles High Club Series. You are in for a treat!

Oh what a book!!! My heart is filled with so much love

Christo aka Christopher what a swoony mofo. He was pure Perfection. The Mile's brother are everything and more. They feed off eachother.

Banter, swoon and so much more with a journey to find himself Christopher will have you eating out of the palm of his hand.

What a way to end the Mile's series. Hayden and Christopher's story was everything and more. I laughed hard with tears then cried hard with emotions.

I laughed so much to the point i nearlly wet my self. The yacht scene had me good and the end omg the tears i cried my jaw hurt so much.

Christopher oh how he shows his emotions. When hes having a freak out moment everyone knows about it. The love and care he has for the people he loves is what made me love him the most. His love for Hayden and Eddie swelled my heart.

Let’s me start by saying wow wow wow. With every book I’ve read in the series I would state I love each brother more but now all brothers have their own book, I must state Christopher is my favourite and can I say want more? Oh yes and the whole Valentine’s Day novella is going to be an instant download. I’m not saying I don’t love them all in their own way but Christopher depth and just how beautiful he is of a person shone through.

This book had me glued to my seat and I read it within one day but I must say anything tl swan writes makes my reading life happy. Tl swan has this way of pulling you in and not wanting the book to end. This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions, one minute I was laughing which I’m sure my neighbours heard and then next thing I was an emotional mess. If you haven’t read the other brothers books I do recommend it even though they can be read as standalones but you’ll have a better understanding of the bond and the relationship between brothers and how supportive of each other they are. The best way to describe this book for me - emotional, raw, passionate and one of my favourite reads so far this year and probably top read of Tl swan.

What I can say about the hero and heroine. Christopher decides he wants to go backpacking for a year without anyone knowing who he is and just be free to travel and discover himself until he meets the beautiful and smart heroine who instantly have this chemistry off the charts and there is a continuous push and pull. This is a must read and highly recommend this book. If I could give it 100 stars I would.

I received an arc to give an honest opinion.

I honestly don't even know where to start with this review, I mean loved every single bit of this book!

I swear you will not regret reading this wonderful book and it gets infinite stars from me❤️

Christopher Miles is officially my favorite Miles brother
He honestly surprised me a lot throughout the book.

When Christopher decided to move out of his comfort zone and go backpacking for a year, I just knew I was in for a treat because I didn't think he'd do well 🤣

This book had me cry laughing so many times, but my absolute favorite would be Christopher fainting when he saw Hayden with her hand in a cow🤣.

Second to this is definitely the yacht 🤣IYKYK

I haven't read the books for Sebastián and gang, but you best believe these men are now sitting in my ebook library🤝

But if you were to ask which moment I would never forget from this book and absolutely won my heart over...

It would be when this man went back for Eddie. I was ugly crying at this point 😕

Rating : all the stars⭐

Thank you netgalley for this arc copy. ❤️

5 star writing; 3 star plot

I love this author's writing style and I've loved each of the previous books I've read in this series. This one, however, just didn't quite rise to the standard set by its predecessors.

The writing is, as anticipated, extremely well done. I was hooked on the compelling story and vibrant characters right from the start. The problem, for me, was that Christopher was set up for a redemption arc that never really materialized. Instead, we're left with a former playboy who chooses to become monogamous but remains as self-centered as ever. Even when he's trying to see things from Hayden's point of view, he just can't quite figure out why she's not as happy as someone who gets to be with him ought to be.

Hayden started out as a wonderfully strong, independent woman who didn't take any of his attitude. She has standards, and it's clear that Christopher is not capable of anything close to what she deserves. Yet, apparently their "chemistry" is strong enough to compel her to overlook months of lying, weeks of being ignored and even "handled" by his assistants because he's "too busy" to call himself, and eventually it allows her to forego any remaining desire she had for her original career. To see a once-strong woman reduced to arm candy was disappointing, to say the least.

I honestly couldn't put this book down - the writing really is that good - but by the HEA, I was left wondering how such a shallow relationship could possibly go the distance. If not sleeping with other people is the only standard a girl has, then Christopher is that girl's Mr. Right.

If you've been following the Miles family in this series, you probably want to read this as much as I did. Just know that he's not the hero his brothers are. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Thank you to Net Galley for this ARC! I I have loved the Miles High Club series by TL Swan along with her other books, so I was SO excited to have the opportunity to read Christopher's story!

I liked that the majority of this book had a completely different setting than the rest of the series because Christopher decides to take a break from his family's company to backpack Europe incognito. Christopher always was the most mysterious of the Miles brothers, so it was nice to finally see his personality on its own.

I did enjoy the push/pull between Christopher and our female MC Hayden, who grew up on a farm and actually calls Christopher out on his spoiled ways. However, even after everything they've been through, he slips back into those selfish tendencies when he and Hayden have to deal with the ramifications after revealing who he really is. Luckily, because of their established friendship and some great groveling, they get their HEA.

Honestly, some of my favorite parts were the cameos from other amazing TL Swan characters from this series and others! While the Takeover still remains my favorite in the series, The Do-Over was great, and I can't wait for "Miles Ever After"!

Unfortunately, this writer's style is not for me. There was some good banter here and there, but it was outweighed by messy, and what felt like to me, inconsistent characters. But, I'm in the minority based on the overall Goodreads rating, so it's definitely a case of 'it's me, not the book'.

I was so excited for Christopher Miles and I wasn’t disappointed because his story was everything I expected and so much more. Christopher Miles the youngest Mikes sibling and Hayden Whitmore’s journey is the perfect addition to this wonderful series. Christopher ha decided it’s time to spread his wings and take off backpacking around Europe and he has decided to get the real pack backing experience by only having limited funds and staying in hostels….now that was always going to be a shock to the system for a billionaire. But add in getting scammed, getting his wallet, cards and cash stolen he finds himself in need of help and that’s when Hayden comes to the rescue. What follows is an entertaining, fun read as this couple get to know each other as they travel to different parts of Europe. Problem is Hayden knows backpacking Christopher not billionaire Christopher so what happens when his secret is revealed. One click now to find out. This book has it all, I laughed, I smiled, I held my breath and I swooned as I joined this couple on their trip around Europe. I fell hard and fast for Christopher and I adored the sweet and caring Hayden but what took this book to another level was the love, compassion and patience shown to the adorable Eddie a young boy working various jobs to keep his head above water. I highly recommend this witty and emotional read because yes I did shed a few tears as I came to the end of this wonderful read.

Christopher Miles has a lot of growing up to do in this one and the majority of the book revolves around his friendship with Hayden. I really, really enjoyed her character a lot more than I did Christopher. She was so forgiving of him and he needed her understanding soul. He's your typical playboy and isn't shy to admit it. I was hoping that it would be less of the storyline than it was, but overall it was a good addition to the series.

The book that I've been waiting for a year is finally here, and it totally didn't disappoint. Of course Christopher has A LOT of shoes to fill after all such amazing books in the series. But like always, I devoured the book, and couldn't put it down. I've been in a book slump, and didn't feel like reading much at all this month. Always happen whenever I read a book by TL Swan.

Without giving too much away, we know Christopher was going back packing around Europe for a do-over and pretty much to show his brothers that he's not spoiled and can pretty much live a life without money. Hayden was trying to get over her heartbreak so she decided to back pack also. They met at the hostel, and became good friends. Slowly they start to fall for one another, but Hayden knows she's bound to have to get another heart break from Christopher so she rather stay as friends.

I laughed pretty much throughout the book. A few times where my heart was hurting and beating so fast. A few times where I swooned so hard. One time where I wanted to throw my kindle. Lol I legit screamed so hard at one point.

I just really love this book. Now I'll have to sit here and wait until Miles Ever After.

This was so good! Although it is not my favorite from the Miles High series, it was still great.

I loved getting a little glimpse into everyone’s lives and FINALLY getting to learn about the spoiled, entitled Christopher.

This book was hilarious and had me laughing out loud, then turn around and I was crying. I was all over the place while reading this and I just enjoyed it SO much.

What a perfect way to end an amazing series.

❤️❤️❤️1/2

Enjoyable and entertaining for the most part.
Admittedly some areas felt a little bit slow to me, and I couldn’t help but skim read to the next page, but that could be me personally, it may not be like that for everyone, reviews differ.

One the whole the characters were interesting and involved, they had a good chemistry and I enjoyed their interactions.
Christopher takes a bit to get use to he’s a little entitled for my tastes.
I found Hayden too nice for him.

Is it worth the read? Yes most definitely, enjoy .

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

I've had The Do-Over on my most anticipated list forever. I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to read it. So what did I think of it? Well, I have a mixed opinion on it. I loved many things, but one aspect didn't work for me.

To close out The Miles High Club series, TL Swan delivers a funny, steamy, and emotional tale. As expected, the banter between the brothers and Christopher and Hayden is wildly entertaining. There's a good balance between laugh-out-loud humor and heartbreaking moments.

Although I adored Hayden and enjoyed her growth throughout the story, I never fully connected with Christopher. The little things that bothered me about him kept piling up. Christopher is very selfish and used to getting his way without regard for the impact on others. While Christopher redeems himself in the end, it was too late for me.

I definitely recommend reading The Do-Over. Overall, I really enjoyed Hayden and Christopher's journey and glimpses into the lives of the other Miles brothers. I'm looking forward to the recently announced happily-ever-after updates for all of the Miles brothers.

I'll keep this short and not-so-sweet: when the "hero" of a romance novel makes you nauseous, it's not going very well. I absolutely loved The Stopover, and it feels like every one of Swan's books since then has just upped the shock value, with "heroes" whose actions turn my stomach. As always, her writing is incredibly bingeable and each to devour, but this male lead is SO extraordinarily off-putting that I was left feeling sick to my stomach. The book is also unnecessarily long, so I skimmed a significant portion of it. I was not emotionally invested, and I didn't care if this couple found their happily ever after.

I’ve loved the Miles brothers (though my soft spot always will go to Jamieson 🥰) and though I felt this book was rather different from the others, it still hit the spot.

Christopher has always had everything come easy to him, though he genuinely doesn’t realise it. A true portrayal of someone who doesn’t know how good he has it, he only really finds out when he, in a fit of pique, decides to go backpacking for a year.

Meeting up with Hayden, there are lots of “feelings” but at mainly her behest they decide to try friendship (*snigger*, when does that ever work out!)

Obviously feelings, emotions and *ahem* other stuff happens and at the end of the year reality comes crashing down meaning our love torn couple have to try to find a happy mix between what was, what can be and what will be.

A fantastic love story before anything else, this book also contains a fabulous family dynamic (though not nearly enough of the other brothers as I would have liked to have seen!), giggles and high emotion.

A lovely conclusion to this series, I am crossing all fingers, toes and any available appendages now that the author returns to the Stanton world for her next book..
