Duriel's commitment to helping others heal comes through in this book. His passion is undeniable. I enjoyed the science-backed talking points, exercises, and resources. Usually the more spiritual aspects of some self-help books are off putting for me, however Duriel and I share some experiences in this regard, so it was easier for me to incorporate those points into my consumption of the book.

I do caution that this book is quite dense. Topics are covered in depth. Trying to speed through this book will definitely cause fatigue. Take your time with it and let all the information sink it.

I liked the idea of the book, and the subject matter seemed along with what I was looking to work on, but I just couldn't connect with the book

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I wish I had a physical copy to be able to write notes into it, and may decide to buy it for myself. Very good read for someone who struggles with self esteem issues.

Thank you, Llewellyn Worldwide Ltd, for the advance reading copy.

The themes and concepts in this book may sound laborious to many but I am sure unless you try you will never know how useful and how effortless these activities are once they are carried out.

The contents are well planned and to the point.
The writing does not waste words. Three sections of the book that anyone will find something useful and practical from each section but I will suggest you to read in order from the first section to the last.

I did find the second section the best for myself. It is everything. The affirmative talks are the best. They touch most important topics I would say for everyone, for all age groups.

Do pick up this book. It’s really helpful.

I immediately was drawn to the title of this book because I’m currently on a self-love journey at 44 years old. I enjoyed how the author gave very detailed information about tools to achieve self-love such as using affirmative language and also various exercises to work with Spirit. I would suggest this book to someone who is familiar with healing terms and language as it was a bit wordy at times.

The book is a bit harder-leaning than I had hoped. As much as I like some of the messages embedded within. Mr. Duriel has a very passionate voice for his area of interest (helping people) and it comes through the book clearly, but it is also always accompanied by his intense internal spirituality. This is not a problem when it agrees with your own outlook, and he tries hard to make it a broader idealogy- I just can't make the connection with that requirement on the material. If you are looking for a highly spiritual self-affirmation guide, this is the book. If you are looking for a fresh take on CBT and positive self-imagery, be prepared for the additional context.
