This is a straightforwardly written and illustrated true story of survival, particularly suitable for middle and high school students. A glimpse into Inuit life and hunting practices, it's a quick read and a good introduction to an indigenous people's life that will make curious readers seek out more.

This is a beautiful book about survival. It takes an incredible person to survive like the author is. He is very strong to keep going in his ordeal. Each page.as I was reading made me love the book even more. Its a fast read but a very beautiful read. This book is so worth reading!!
