I tried so hard to get into this book but it just didn't hook me. Perhaps it just wasn't my cup of tea, but overall it just felt cumbersome.

I agree with some of the other reviews, this was hard to get into and there was a lot of set up before the book really got started. I kept getting a bit lost and confused. I did not finish this, made it about 30% of the way through but unfortunately I just didn't feel like it was worth more of my time.

This is a tale of espionage, terrorism, and counterterrorism. Robert Harland and Isis Herrick with MI6 need to figure out what links the murders of the head of NSA at Heathrow, a family at Uxbridge, and a group of refugees in Macedonia.

It is something entirely plausible and is a sign of the times we live in.

This ALC was an interesting listen. Matthew Lloyd Davis narrates the story well.

I listened to about 20% of this book. The narrator was good. The story just did not grab me. So I’ve set it aside. Sorry.
