Under showed a great parallel between Follow Me Under’s events but this time in our favorite CEO, Braden Black’s, perspective. I never knew how much I could appreciate a guy’s perspective in reading books like this until reading Under! The book made me know why Braden had to keep a big secret from his love, Skye, and how hard it was to live with that secret always, 24/7. The book also made me feel the frustration, joys, excitements, and anger that Braden felt which was such a great experience. Yes, that’s what I would call it. This book was an experience! The highs, lows, and cliffhanger… I don’t think I can wait for the next book! To summarize, you *need* to get this book, it’s worth your time, believe me. :)

Love and trust, can you have one without the other? Trust can be many things; faithfulness, recommendations, or total sexual freedom, to name a few. It’s interesting to read Braden’s point of view and his reactions to having a relationship due to his past experiences. Sometimes, Skye’s actions don’t correspond with her words. No matter how much love there is between them, total trust has yet to be achieved and it takes time.

I am a huge Helen Hardt fan and I admit that I haven't read books 1-4 in this series as I was gifted this as an ARC in return for my honest comments. Helen Hardt is always a 5 star read for me, so it pains me that I can only give this 3.5 stars which I have rounded down to 3.

I will start by saying that I loved that this book was from Brandon's POV. I really enjoy erotica when it is told from the male perspective. Having said that, the first half of this book reminded me so much of the three 50 Shades books from Christian's point of view that I had a hard time thinking Brandon and Skye. I truly love Dominants like Brandon and I was fascinated with his story once I got through to where I could see it as Brandon and not Christian. Even the cover while being maroon, Brandon's color, I was reminded of the covers of the 50 Shades books.

I have read many Helen Hardt books and I enjoy the way she crafts her stories, especially those in a series and the characters she comes up with.

I think I am going to have to read books 1-4 in the series and then reread this and see if my feelings change towards it. I would hesitate to recommend it new readers of the series at this time but those familiar with the previous books will no doubt enjoy this tremendously.

Under is told from Braden’s POV and it’s another addicting spicy page turner delivered from this author! I am so obsessed with these two characters I couldn’t stop reading it completely consumed me from beginning till end it’s hot intense and so addictive this is another five star masterpiece from Helen Hardt!

I really cannot get enough of these series. And even though I have read this story through Skye's POV, it is like reading for the first time with Braden. My goodness. I can't get enough of that man. His emotions that he fights with rips through me. You go through the emotional ride that he experience. Skye tested my limits but these two have a long road ahead.

Under is scorching hot and the chemistry was palpable. You could feel the heat through the pages. You do not want to miss out and I can not wait for more!!!

I wish I could have read the other books in the series to really understand everything going on.

Otherwise this was a great spicy read.

This is the Follow Me Under told from Braden's POV, this book will consume you, will drag you under the other side of the story, you will now understand his struggles, what he was going through and what made him fall for Skye. His past wasn't easy, he has that dark side that never shares, yet hard limits come in the way and make walls crumble. Such an amazing rollercoaster emotional ride, full of steam and a plot that will have you reading non-stop. You don't want to miss this side of the story.

Oh how I love this series and getting more of Braden’s point of view is everything! I absolutely adore Braden & Skye so revisiting them is like revisiting old friends. This series definitely should be read in order.

I've read many books by this author, and honestly maybe it has been one to many. This felt like "rinse and repeat." I guess I didn't need Braden's POV - he's NOT a nice guy. He was beyond controlling that's NOT sexy and on the fringe of almost dangerous.

And Skye, WOW could she be even more naive in his POV. I honestly couldn't believe she would be so forthcoming with giving him everything. Then, her friends are calling him rather than talking to her - are they truly friends? I just don't think this one is for me.

Under tells self made billionaire’s Braden’s point of view of the events in Follow Me Under and I have to start by saying I love how this author tells the story from the hero and heroine’s sides in alternating books, its interesting to read the same story from a different angle and gives a whole new perspective on things. Personally though I found Braden to be a little too overbearing in this book. Skye is willing to cede control in the bedroom which is understandable. It’s the whole crux of their relationship and Braden is definitely the more experienced one but it seems like its not enough for him and he’s pushing for control in all aspects of her life even though he doesn’t seem to consider her work as important . He tells her he has one hard limit but refuses to say what it is which just makes her push harder. Just tell her Braden instead of forbidding her to talk – if you knew anything about women you’d know we won’t just drop it!!!

When it comes to steam factor the chemistry between these two is a definite ten especially now as things are getting darker and they begin to explore Skye’s fascination with bondage and Helen Hardt has done a fantastic job developing this side of their relationship. Its just a pity the same cant be said for the rest of their life together. They love each other but Braden doesn’t believe that Skye trusts him. He needs to take a look at himself in the mirror as to my mind he doesn’t seem to trust Skye either and has no respect for her. I’m intrigued to see where this story goes next.

This series is the first that I've partly read by Helen Hardt. I read book one, FOLLOW ME DARKLY, then jumped to HARD. Since I have not read FOLLOW ME UNDER, this was new to me. I enjoyed UNDER and do not feel like I've missed anything. I look forward to the next book. I still wish I could read both points of view at once. If/when this series goes on sale or put in Kindle Unlimited, I'll definitely want to reread book one and continue on.

I've enjoyed the Follow Me series and taking this book to review was a no brainer. Or so I thought. Sadly, I didn't really enjoy this book. The heat is there. Tons of it. I don't read a lot of books with this much sex but the story through the previous books was good enough to keep my interest. This time it just felt too "been there, done that".

I think I actually like Skye and Brayden less after seeing life through Brayden's eyes. How? I'm not 100% sure but I think Skye put a rosier spin on their differences and disagreements. She seems like a real brat from Brayden's view and I never really saw why he loved her. He told us he did often but the actions didn't sell me. Brayden still doesn't give up what makes him the man he is sufficiently for me either. We knew about his mom's issues and death, his father's neglect and nothing new was really visited.

I'm sure lots of fans of the Follow Me series and Ms. Hardt will still enjoy this story. Erotica fans will love all the sex. I hate that I didn't love this book more.

UNDER by Helen Hardt is book 5 in the Follow Me Series. This continues the story of Skye Manning and Braden Black. So, you will need to have read the previous books to fully enjoy this one. In addition this one does leave us with a cliffhanger setting us up for more in their story. This series and book have been a page turning read. If you have read Ms. Hardt work before then you know you are getting a really good series. I can't wait for more from this author and series.

You know when you pick up a Helen Hardt book exactly what your getting into. Under is the fifth book in the Follow Me series. It had been years since I read the first few books so I hardly remembered them, but that's the good part, you could read any of them as a stand alone. I highly suggest if your interested in these types of books that you pick up the whole series because they will defiantly make you blush! Erotic fiction really kicks up the plot/storyline and I'm all about it. Author Helen Hardt does an amazing job at keeping her books classy yet a little bit trashy, and it's oh so good. Grab any one of her books and you'll feel inspired!

Braden Black doesn’t do relationships and he has a carefully made list of those dos and don’ts. But, after meeting Skye he is throwing caution to the wind one rule at a time.

This is book five of the Follow Me series- and I really enjoyed getting to see more of Braden. In other installments he has at times come off as cold or detached, but a glimpse into his head had me really enjoying the character more.

Skye, on the other hand, is not my favorite character. She goes back and forth between complying with his every whim and then fighting him. I’m hoping with time and character development that I’ll enjoy her more.

Overall- really am enjoying the series and the SPICE! Ohmylanta- you best believe you’ll clutch them pearls.

I cannot get enough of Braden and Skye!!!

I absolutely love how the Author is coming out with this POV books from Braden's POV! After reading Follow Me Under which is from Skye's POV this is where you get Braden's within the same book. It is hot, delicious and all the kinky smut!

I need more of this couple!!

Braden's POV, whoo 🥵. I loved it! This next installments follows the events that happened in Follow Me Under. The story follows everything that he was thinking as they unfolded, and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

Skye and Braden are still navigating their way around their new relationship. There are issues with Braden id not wanting to talk to Skye about some previous moments that have happened and it is really hard on Skye. They are supposed to be partners, and she doesn't understand why he won't confide in her. There is so much chemistry between the two and as time goes on it only gets better.

For me it was a little inconsistent in the beginning but smoothed out as the story went along.

This isn't a standalone and should be read in order. I initially thought that I could read it alone, but had to go back and read the previous books for it to make sense.

Under by Helen Hardt is such an addictive read!
I don't think I've read a book this phenomenal all year!
This series just keeps getting better and better!
The characters and story development are freaking fantastic!
Hardt is an amazing writer and she definitely know how to hook, link and sink her reader's from the very beginning!
If you haven't read this authors work yet! You seriously need to!

Braden Black is back!!

If you've been reading or read Helen Hardt's Under series then you'll know that UNDER is the second book told from Braden Black's POV. I'm really loving getting Braden's view on his relationship with Skye Manning, and everything else that was happening in his life. This man was an enigma in the earlier books, but now the intrigue and mystery surrounding him are beginning to be displayed. Braden is a much more interesting man than I first thought. He is a man who likes to be in control of all aspects of his life, including Skye, yet she challenges him in ways he never expected. She wants to know all his secrets, but he is not willing to talk about one aspect of his past which does cause issues between Braden and Skye.

UNDER only made me fall for Braden even harder than I previously had. He may not say much, but when he does you definitely want to listen because Braden does not waste his words. Braden's past is beginning to catch up with him, and seeing how he coped was the one thing I was really looking forward to, and Ms. Hardt did not disappoint. Heat, passion, suspense, mystery, and intrigue, UNDER has it all. This is a story that has held me totally captivated.

I am loving Braden’s POV in this companion book to Follow Me Under. This story made me realize just how much he is in love with Skye. Seeing it all through Braden’s mind you now know he is constantly thinking about her, wanting to not only control and command her, but also to please her, in every way. Her happiness is his goal.

“I want Skye’s trust. I want Skye’s safety. I want Skye’s love.”

Skye can’t seem to let go of Braden’s past and starts to try to manipulate him with games. She’s becoming lost in her relationship with Braden as everything in her life is changing. Braden is rightfully concerned that she is losing herself in his world. As she starts to exhibit an utter lack of any control. Will Braden’s love be enough to pull her back from destruction?

This was masterfully woven and filled full of steamy heat, and passion, that will singe your fingertips and keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to the end. I am totally under Braden’s spell and will be waiting anxiously for the next in this series.
