First off.... WHY OH WHY IS THIS SERIES NOT ON AUDIBLE!!!
Yes I'm aware I'm yelling at you!!

This is the first time I've heard of this author and I really enjoyed this book.... So much so I wanted to listen to the first 3 in the series but... Well see my screaming at you above!!

I did end up buying them from the Kindle store and if they come out in audio I would probably listen to them again.

Nice winter read. Predictable but nice.

The Narrator is very squeaky for one of the characters - a character who is annoying any way as she is whiny so that narration does not help.

Bit baffled about how a random female they dont know is expected to save a wedding by upcycling a room with no qualifications or experience in touching items which have been in the buildings for hundreds of years but! If you dont over think it it is a nice read.

A Winter Wedding at Willow Tree Hall
Alison Sherlock
Skye swings by Willow Tree Hall towing her silver Airstream trailer on her way to see her sister. She has little experience pulling the trailer and damages Will’s expensive car when she backs over it. Skye inherited the trailer from a friend that was like a grandfather to her. The Earl of Willow Tree Hall explains to Skye she is now co-owner of the lodge. Will the second in line to the Earldom owns the other half. Will was known to be a playboy. He had no idea the lodge was only half his. He has had a hard day; he just lost his job, and now this woman damaged his car and owns half of his lodge. Will takes Skye along a path from the hall to the lodge, she trips and injures her ankle. Skye had planned to head to her sister’s right away but with the damaged ankle that is no longer possible. She comes to love the lodge, hall and the family that lives there. She and Will work together to renovate the lodge. When a storm hits the area they assist the people in town, work to repair the Hall, and plan Will’s brother’s wedding. Will and Skye slowly grow fond of each other. Will doesn’t believe in love or marriage…until he meets Skye.
This is the third book in The Willow Tree Hall Series. There were several times when I had to remind myself this is not a Victorian romance. Both Skye and Will are multidimensional characters. I liked watching as they fell in love. Skye arrived at Willow Tree Hall homeless with only the items in the Airstream trailer and the car pulling it. Her sister seemed a bit uncaring. Will is a delightful character with more than a few flaws. I took delight in watching Will mature. I admit much of this tale is predictable but that didn’t stop me from enjoying every word.

Could not stand the voice of the narrator. It was too high and squeaky. The story was cute and heartwarming and the perfect Christmas/holiday book.

So cute! Skye crashes into Will's life, literally, when she backs her airstream into his aston martin at Willow Tree Hall. He is furious and even more furious when he finds out that she is supposed to inherit half of the lodge on the estate property that he has thought was all his. While she stays there to figure out the co-owning of the lodge, they are forced to spend time together and grow to be friends and potentially even more.

This is a sweet and wholesome story like what you might see in a Hallmark Christmas movie. It mostly revolves around family, as the romance doesn't really start to kick in until about 75% in. As far as romance novels go, the pacing is pretty slow, but I did enjoy the storyline and never once got bored. The narrator did a wonderful job portraying Skye as humble and sweet, and Will was a real a$$ in the beginning. I think you will love this book if you enjoy the following:
-Opposites attract (rich boy and girl from humble beginnings)
-Grumpy/Sunshine
-Hallmark Christmas movies
-Dual POV
-Setting in England
-He falls first
-Family Dynamics

Thank you Netgalley and Saga Edmont Audio for this gifted coy. I will post my review on Amazon, Instagram, and Barnes and Nobles closer to release day.

Oddly, this one reads exactly like a historical romance: second son of an Earl, a bit of a famous rake, doesn't believe in love because he witnessed his mother kissing another man. Both his parents die in an accident and his brother inherits the title and the family property, minus a small cottage on the lands which he believes yo be his, only to find that half of the property was lost as a gambling debt and now he shares the property with a untitled woman. It was cute but I couldn't stop thinking how much better it would have been as a Regency or Victorian romance 3.5⭐️

A wintery, romantic romp through an estate in the English countryside. The friends-to-lovers get to know each other as they fulfill their unknown needs of  friendship, family and belonging. A sweet tale to satisfy the cottagecore-seeking lot.

While I was sitting through another heat wave I couldn't think of a better escape than a book about Christmas in the English country! This was a cute romance book in the winter at Willowtree Hall. It's simple and straightforward, sometimes thats all you're looking for. This felt like reading the script to a hallmark movie! Cozy and cute!

Thanks to #NetGalley and #SagaEgmont for gifting me an advanced copy to the audiobook to listen to!

This was another book I really wanted to like, but I honestly felt like it was super predictable. I’m trying to give it the benefit of the doubt though. Maybe if I had been reading it in winter I would have been more in the mood.

🌀Synopsis
Skye has a trailer to her name and that’s about it but after a twist of fate (and a smashed car) she ends up with half of a lodge as her inheritance. The only hang up is that she has to share it with playboy, Will.

Skye’s plans to leave the lodge immediately are spoiled when she hurts herself and is forced to stay. Turns out she actually grows to love the place and the people that surround her. On the second time she is supposed to leave a large storm rips through and destroys her plans once again.

As she and Will work together to renovate the lodge, help repair the town, and help plan someone else’s wedding their fondness for each other grows. Turns out there will be more than one wedding this winter.
