This is a really interesting book which is breaking many myths of leadership which is really good as it makes it seem that leadership is something accessible to anyone and encourages more people to try and become a leader. As someone who specialises in leadership, I know that the world of leadership is not confined to those who are "born leaders" but anyone can be a leader and everyone is a leader and I hope this book highlights that and much more to all the want-to-be leaders.

A whirlwind trip through leadership thinking, breaking down the myths one at a time.

This would be a nice gift for someone starting out in their leadership career as it provided a simple introduction and overview of some of the most popular leadership theories with source links for further reading.

I found that having read a few leadership books before I missed the depth of those within this book, but it only offers to break down the myths not to be an inspiring leadership book in it own right.

I was really hoping for something new and innovative but it was very similar to any other book about management and leadership. That said, it would be interesting if you hadn't read many management text books or were new to managing.

An easy read and a must for those who work in the corporate world. Scratch that; anyone who scrutinises LinkedIn thinks they should be more like the people who wake up at 3 am, run 20km and go to bed at midnight whilst being the best in the business.

Not only was this humorous, and it used many references to cite proof that you can do better than follow the 'leadership crowd'.

A recommended (and arguably a mandatory) read for anyone in a management or leadership position.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher Kogan Page for an advance reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
