Mystery and intrigue...surprises...red herrings...friends...work mates...enjoy this book...This novel is written by a gifted author who has made sure it is a cannot put down mystery. This book was sent to me by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy. Although the story moves slowly at times, this character driven book is worth reading. Enjoy.

If you loved Jody's previous novel The Girls Weekend, you'll love her newest story!
The book itself was well written, suspenseful and had some good twists and turns.
This absolutely gripping and gorgeously written novel grabs hold and does not let go until the very last page. Gehrman's darkly atmospheric writing transports you right to the center of this amazing story.
Atmospheric, suspenseful and very much intriguing. I stayed up way too late finishing this book and I don't regret a thing.

This was the type of thriller I never knew I needed. One where you already knew the killer before the main character did and so you’re just watching them slowly put the pieces together.

However I feel the grand reveal wasn’t as satisfying as it should’ve been? That’s just me.

I still really enjoyed the book.
