I absolutely adored the setting of this story. I could just imagine walking the streets of Paris in December. With the bitter sting of the Seine hitting my face. I could also smell all the amazing food, fresh baguettes, pastries and I could feel the laid back nature of the French people winding its way through the book. The storyline is a lovely festive, romantic read. With great characters and a storyline that is guaranteed to put a great big smile on your face.

Paris itself is a character as the setting of this book, which is going to be fabulous for Francophiles (of which I am not) and / or folks who speak French (which I do not). As a non-French-speaking reader, I could have done with a bit better translation, or even contextual clues, to the phrases dropped here and there. It made it a difficult book to read. It's a classic trope of rich girl / poor boy, their romance, and how they must bridge the divide between their socioeconomic statuses to live together happily ever after. If you're into Paris, this book will be a great escape!

💕All the romantic vibes, and at Christmas too🗼

This was my favorite Leonie Mack romance to date. She takes lovely destinations and brings to life the romance of the setting. Paris in December: she made it magical!

The main characters were great, especially Sasha, the Parisian male lead. I don't believe that poor little rich girl Ren could have stumbled upon a more earnest, selfless, better fellow to help her spread her wings and experience everyday life. His background and poignant attachment to his father brought a bit of somber depth to him and enriched this modern romance
of a couple battling against a deep socio-economic divide.

Total recommend from me.

Thanks to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

Opposites attract, Paris at Christmas, what is not to love?! Ren and Sasha are enjoyable characters and the Paris-setting was a complete delight. Highly recommend!

I love a Paris-based romance, and a story set at Christmas, so I really enjoyed this story. Fun Roman Holiday vibes with an heiress going incognito, a loving family, and lots of exploration and adventure. Ren's family drove me crazy but I know that was the point... I really enjoyed spending time with this couple!

A very intense love story. Set in Paris.. Ren was interesting main character. Hated to imagine having that much money. I loved how she discovered normal things. In these difficult times I really enjoyed it.

I am a sucker for a Paris setting and was drawn to the cover and title. But I struggled to connect with the characters as I read the story. Thank you for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Twenty-One Nights in Paris is my first book by Leonie Mack, but I certainly won't be my last! I adored this slow burn, opposites attract holiday romance that is so reminiscent of Disney's Aladdin. Ren, a thirty year old heiress, lives a sheltered life, controlled by her grandmother and Ziggy, her grandmother's right hand woman. Ren is a constant disappointment to her grandmother, whose harsh reprimands made my heart hurt for her. Ziggy's high handed instructions regarding what Ren was permitted to eat and the size of her thighs made me want to throttle her! When Ren's broken engagement goes viral on social media, her grandmother pushes her to return home to London for damage control. Stuck in a traffic jam on the way to the train station, Ren throws open her car door into the bicycle lane, colliding with an oncoming bicyclist. The hot tattooed man with gorgeous eyes laying on the wet pavement will change her life forever.

Gentle, honest, proud, intelligent, not to mention exceedingly attractive, Sacha comes from humble beginnings, the son of a Lebanese immigrant father and a French mother. He is the last man Ren's grandmother would accept as a romantic interest. What better excuse to stay on in Paris a bit longer than an unacceptable new boyfriend? What starts as a fake relationship to give Ren some breathing room before dealing with her grandmother, shareholders and the press, becomes so much more as Sacha introduces Ren to the Paris she has never experienced, a sense of family she has never known, and a confidence in herself as their feelings for each other grow. Can two people from such different backgrounds find a way to make a life together?

Ren and Sacha are engaging, easy to connect with, and even when a happy ending seems impossible, I was still rooting for some way for it to all work out. If you are a fan of Disney movies, as I am, you will love Ren's off-hand references to some favorite characters! I also enjoyed the history of Paris, and of his family, that Sacha shares with Ren. The love and bonds of found family are beautifully exemplified by Jospeh, who became a father figure to Sacha following the loss of his own father. Sacha challenges Ren to look more critically at her belief that sharing blood makes someone your family.

Leonie Mack is a master at making the characters' emotions felt by the reader. My heart skipped a beat, my breath caught, I laughed, and I cried. The Epilogue is perfection, but you'll get no hints from me, you will have to read the book yourself!

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for gifting me an ebook copy of Twenty-One Nights in Paris. This is my honest review.

The setting of the story gave off strong Paris vibes and the plot was well thought of. Both Ren & Sacha were caught up in insecurities but whenever they saw themselves through each other perspective, I could feel how much they adored each other. It was a wonderful and light-hearted story, I finished it in the matter of just a few hours.

Rin is The face of $1 billion Internet company but when her fake fiancé‘s girlfriend blows their cover on Instagram her grandmother demands she comes home to London but while in route to the train station she runs into Sasha… Literally! Despite Sasha‘s reluctance, Rin persuade him to go to the doctor and after I get to know you drink in an almost kiss she believes she’ll never see him again. The next day however when her best friend saves her from binging on crêpes in too many Disney movies they pop out to get some fresh air and when returning to the Ritz hotel her heart does a somersault when she sees Sacha again at the Front Dess. Unfortunately she has to get ready for tea with her grandmother, because she wants to convince her to let her stay in Paris. So seeing Sasha gives her a great idea. She’ll get Sasha to pretend to be her boyfriend. Sasha doesn’t it all believe in love so when she tells him her proposal for the fake relationship he cannot see the harm in one afternoon with her grandmother. Despite her grandmother in Ziggy her grandmothers assistance critical comments and gestures Sasha makes it through the tea. It’s the next three weeks when he finds out that Rin is an accident waiting for a place to happen and that every time he’s around her he gets injured he also notices how he gets dizzy in his heart palpitate every time she’s close and when she’s not close he wants her around. But when he sees a poetry book in a poem by Barone that he knows he’s in love. But there’s no way he could be with someone who is rich as her even though she gets along great with his family and loves being around them it doesn’t matter though because their time is limited time is running out. Will Rin convince Sasha they can be together or will her trip to see her grandmother in the investors be the end of their romance? I absolutely love this book. I recently started reading romantic comedies and it seems everyone I read is a A hilarious book. I didn’t know how much I would like this one when I read the premise but OMG it’s hilarious I loved it, Rin it’s so innocent and so sweet and you just wanna protect her and walk out for her. I just love this book and highly recommend it I mean what more can I say it was great it was funny you should read it! I received this book from NetGalley I am the publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

I received this book via NetGalley and give it my honest opinion

A bit of a slow burner, but a pleasant read. Well written with an opposites attract theme running through it. Romance and Paris what more can I say, read it and see what you think.

I request a ARC through Netgalley and Boldwood Books in return for providing my feedback and opinion. I can say this book was not great but it wasn't bad either. I enjoy an quick holiday read and this was it. I found the characters likeable and those that weren't so much in the beginning, you found yourself loving at the end (Ren's Grandmother). I enjoyed the fake dating aspect and really flew through this book. I would recommend as a fun and witty holiday read.

I am always down for a fake relationship trope, and Twenty-One Nights in Paris delivered. In a subtle Aladdin retelling, the love story unfolds slowly under our eyes. It was a delight to read.
It described two diagonally opposed worlds, and despite the festive setting, I was surprised by the depth of the story and themes touched on.
Yes, it's a holiday romance set in Paris with a grandiose setting, but it's something more. The clash between Sasha and Ren's worlds are masterly challenged. There's some more delicate subjects like the racism Sasha faces from Ren's family, but it was needed to be representative of an Arab man in France.
I loved how it didn't follow the cliché of the everyday French man and showed us another reality in Paris.
I also loved to see the more glamourous setting from Ren's perspective. The balance between the two sides is perfect and threaded together in a wonderful love story.
Needless to say, I adored this book and finished it in two days as I couldn't put it down.

The story
Ren (short for Irena) is the privileged heiress to an old-money auction house. The cultivated image of her supposedly perfect life is shared on social media as the face of the business. But when the truth about her failed engagement is about to come out, and threaten the merger of two powerful families, Ren needs to leave Paris and get home to London. An accident with a cyclist derails her plans. Sasha comes from the other side of the Paris tracks, but is worldly wise and knowledgeable, even if he is not Ren’s ideal type.

My thoughts
I adored Leonie Mack’s two previous books set in Italy. I took a while longer to get into this story. There is initially a type of fairy tale quality to the story (it’s intentional), which later plumbs deeper and darker places, also a bit like fairy tales. I loved the serendipity of the accidental meetings between Ren and Sasha, the Christmas backdrop and how Paris was almost its own character in the story. I also really enjoyed how both Ren and Sasha ended up knowing themselves better after spending time together. ❤️

This story sounded so good, but I found it so slow and didn’t want to pick it up…the characters were likeable, but such a slow story for my liking.

Nice rom com book. It was a little slow for bit and I didn’t feel like I really connected with the stories but still made it through and overall thought it was a decent story. Pretty cover too.

The plot is really interesting but sadly this book didn't work for me. It actually started well and I liked the protagonists and their conversation, but then it turned really slow and I began to lose interest. The writing wasn't engaging enough to hold my interest. Thank you, Netgalley, for the ARC.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

Ren, is a Heiress, and leads a posh lifestyle, staying in places like the Ritz and wearing expensive clothes.

Sacha, is leading a life which is so different to Ren. They meet, one night, as they collide into each other, but they were meant to meet.

She wants to understand why she can’t make her own decisions and is always doing as others want her to. Whereas Sacha is getting over his past.

In getting over her broken relationship, Sacha has been trussed into helping her, which doesn’t go down well with her grandmother.

Soon, that acting, becomes reality. But what happens in the journey to it becoming a reality is what the story is about. It’s got poetry and probing of feelings.

I really enjoyed reading this, and it’s made me want to visit Paris.
