It was good to be back at Blackberry Farm again. It did take me a bit to remember who was who but once I did then the first book came flooding back to me.
Lizzie is now at the farm waiting for her and Tom's house to be finished.
Tom and John are fighting the war while everyone at the farm gets on with life. Pam and Arthur hold everyone together.
The family go through the mill in this book as there's heartache and joy around every corner.
There's an evil presence throughout this story which has you wondering if something 's going to happen and who will be in the firing line if and when it does.
Once again a brilliant read from Rosie Clarke as we follow the lives of the people who live on Blackberry Farm.
I couldn't believe it when I got to the last page as there is so much more I want to know,but I'm guessing there will be another one, well I'm hoping.

Having read the first Blackberry Farm book, I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to read this one and I was not disappointed! There was drama, romance, and more than a few tears! As always, Rosie has told a brilliant story that had me engrossed from the very first chapter. I can't wait to read the next one in the series.

If I could give this series 10 stars 🌟🌟 I would. The author writes about her characters in such a way you almost feel you know them as friends , or at least would want them as friends. I also very much like how Rosie captures th era and gives us an insight on how the people coped during the war.
A wonderful read.

It's not just about a farm it's about how people cope how their loved ones are away at war. It's a emotional and touching book.
You will feel for the characters as their happy. Sad. and cope with everyday life while their loved ones are away. I am not goin to give any storylines away because that wouldn't ruin it.

I like this book. I really like this book. I cannot wait to read the next one in this series...although there are many many characters, the author writes in a way that makes it easy to discern which character is doing what...historical fiction...family dyanmics...love and romance...happiness...grief...love and loss...friendship and marriage...children...mystery and intrigue...this book gives us all of this...and more...I could not put it down. The book was sent to me by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy. The author is talented and gifted at her craft. I hope the next one is released quickly...I would give the book more than five stars if possible. Do not miss reading about Pam and her family and friends.
