Very cool experiments you can do with stuff you usually have at home already. This was a fun, educational way to bust the “I’m bored” Saturday afternoon.

I love books like this! Food Physics is a great way to teach kids about science and experiments. The experiments are fun and things that can be done with things you probably have at home (with adult supervision, of course!). The science fair ideas are a great touch too. I'm definitely going to try that buttered toast experiment! I highly recommend this for classroom and school libraries. It also might help get reluctant science students to take an interest in the topic.

A very good book for kids. Introducing them to science. Science that can be done in kitchen with the help of routine stuff. It has detailed explanation of various experiment that a kid can do at home. Aot to learn. Well systemised format that is uniform throughout the book. A nice recommendation.

This is a nice, basic, somewhat generic book of ten simple food related science experiments for kids. There are good illustrations. I had hoped for a bit more but it will be a good library read for homeschool families looking for inspiration.

Food Physics shows the fun you can have with food in your own kitchen without having to buy a lot of products. Showing kinds science experiments is an important part of fun especially when the days are long during summer and school breaks.

I liked how this one broke it down and made it simple so the kids could read this while you were getting all the supplies together and had them keeping track of everything that was happening during the experiment (this is good for the older kids, not so great for the younger ones.) One thing I would suggest is for them to include worksheets for the kids so you can make copies of them and have them ready to go in advance because most kids won't want to take the time to make the log, they just want to go right into the experiment and have everything ready ahead of time.

The one that I personally found most fascinating was the one to do with the microwave as even kids nowadays by the age of 4 can pop a bag of popcorn in one.

I cannot wait to get a physical copy so I can do these physics science experiments with my nephews and niece during thanksgiving break!

Great collection of experiments! Can't wait to try them with my 9 year old, he will love experimenting with popcorn! Great for the summer holiday or just a rainy weekend activity idea!

This is a nice resource for middle grade homeschooling parents and for teachers that might want to pull a couple of these experiments to use in class. I can also see this being used as a supplemental lesson maybe making an at home project to try and increase parental involvement.

The book has good organization. There are key concepts, background, materials, step by step directions, observations and results. There are good clean up tips. It would need adult help, but has good activities.

Great way to make science class fun. I will be trying all of these before the school year starts, starting with marshmellow expansion.

I enjoyed how ideas of using the experiment in science fairs where includes and what type of science the experiment includes.

Really fun education tool
