Very cute and funny, I loved the art a lot. I saw some other people complain about repetition, and while I did see some, really I felt like it wasn’t the worst. A good read to indulge in if it piques your interest.

The concept for this manga is quite different. It is wholesome and calm from the first chapter. The art style is interesting and appealing to look at while reading. I particularly like the way miss kishi is drawn. She gives off a very neutral and comforting aura. Although her expression doesn't drastically change she still feels to be a very expressive character.
The fact that the cool and rich male lead is also a clumsy person trying to make sure miss kishi is happy adds humour to the manga.
Overall there isn't really anything to complain about. I will definitely continue reading this series.

Not my normal cup of tea to read but I did enjoy reading it. Its always good to try something new and this is a great illustration of that. I have since recommended it to some others who are more suited to reading it and they also agree it is a good read.

This was so fun to read!
Miss Kishi and her Boss Hayase are hilarious. He is clumsy and she is silent and cool..a perfect duo. I laughed out loud much and want to read Volume 2, too.

Summary:

Kiichiro Hayase is extremely wealthy and successful, but he wouldn't survive a day without his maid, Miss Kishi. The truth is that he is an exceptional klutz, so his maid must follow him around and clean up after him. It's a perpetual problem.

Recent events have made Kiichiro painfully aware of how much he relies on Miss Kishi. He must do something quickly if he wants to keep her from walking away.

My Review:

When I call Kiichiro Hayase a klutz, I feel that doesn't fully cover the depth of his situation. He can't touch anything without finding a way to destroy it. He likewise can't remember anything, including critical paperwork.

It's easy to see why he may require a team of people to help him be a successful businessman. Enter Miss Kishi, his maid (the title probably gave that away!). Miss Kishi does everything a maid is expected and then some. She's more like a personal assistant (with damage control skills) than a maid.

All things said and done, My Maid, Miss Kishi, Vol. 1 is a light and interesting read. I loved seeing Kiichiro realize the value of having Miss Kishi in his life, though he does a horrible job of ensuring her happiness. But hey, a for effort, right?

While I really enjoyed My Maid, Miss Kishi, Vol. 1, I feel it is pretty solidly summed up in one volume. That makes me curious to know how the story would continue. Will it continue with these little individual events, or will it find an overarching way to continue?

Highlights:
Cute
Chaos/klutz
Attempts to appreciate an employee
Comedy/Romance

I loved every single bit of this manga, it was SO cute! My Maid Miss Kishi follows a rich klutz whose maid, Miss Kishi, is an ice queen who seems singularly devoted to him with no reward. Over the manga he tries to see her smile, and causes a lot of hilarious hijinks in the meantime. If you love lighthearted manga with just a touch of emotions and a hint of rich boss/maid romance, you'll eat this up.

I spend my time sitting on this review because I can't really make up my mind. On the one hand the art is fine and it’s an entertaining enough premise (while not massively unique). You have the rich clumsy guy who everyone things is so together but he can’t function without his maid.

Miss Kishi is calm and practical and nothing Kiichiro thinks is the perfect gift is something she cares about. That is every chapter and after the first couple it gets boring. I’m not sure how this story grows over the coming volumes but don’t think I’m invested enough to find out.

3.5 stars

This was cute!

I'm not sure what else to say except that I enjoyed reading it even if I found it a little slow in the beginning. I like slowburn romances but this one was a little TOO slow in that regard, even though I very much found the end super cute.

If I could snag the rest of the series for a really low price, I would pick them up. Miss Kishi is a fun maid and the "Master" is a hoot with how clumsy he is because of how OVERLY clumsy he is. Ha! Plus they have a really nice dynamic to their relationship that I like and makes me want to see Miss Kishi smile too.

So overall, a pretty fun read that I would like to see what happens next in how this romance will unfold!

This is a very enjoyable manga. It is funny with clear drawings and amusing characters. It ended on a cliff hanger which is to be expected because volume two and three have been published and I wanted to read them at once.

Kiichiro Hayase is a wealthy, dashing and highly eligible character but he is extremely clumsy and a walking disaster. He is constantly saved by the interventions of Miss Kishi, who is is straight faced, calm cool and collected maid.

Kiichiro gets it into his head that his maid may one day leave him and he sets out to make her happy so that she will stay with him, not that she said that she is unhappy or leaving, but that is part of the fun of the story. It is the kind of manga that would make a good anime and it was fun to read.

I really enjoyed the art for this particular manga, I'll say that first of all. I also thought it was enjoyable enough given that it was quite entertaining, funny and even sweet at points. However, I did find it a little bit repetitive and I honestly found my attention wandering because I wasn't that hooked into it.

A quick and entertaining manga with great drawings, the first volume was fun but I want to read more to decide if it was for me.

While I did smile a few times I didn't find anything to make me keep coming back for more. It wasn't bad but there's so many manga out there that I don't want to spend time on this one.

I couldn't personally get into this. The genre isn't something I'm pulled towards nor did I care about the characters. But the story telling was fun. I think if you like romcoms you'll enjoy this quite a bit.

I was really excited to read this. I loved the idea that it would be the man being clumsy instead of the woman. Unfortunately, this manga just missed the mark a bit. A lot of the chapters were pretty much the same scenario over and over again. Just slightly different. Kiichiro makes a mess and Miss Kishi picks up after him. I honestly cannot even imagine how the next volumes will be. It sounds exhausting a bit.

The characters weren't bad. I did like Kiichiro. I loved that he was clumsy, but I do wish he wasn't so obtuse. He kept trying to buy Miss Kishi gifts as if that would win her over or even give her insincere compliments so he can have the gratification of her smiling. It never felt like he was doing these things for her. I liked Miss Kishi. None of the chapters are really from her point of view. I do think the manga would benefit a lot more if Kiichiro's point of view was broken up a bit.

Overall, the idea was there but I will not be reading further into the series. This was just a pass for me.

I did not really enjoy this manga. It just never fully captured my attention and I grew bored pretty quickly. It’s a lot of shorter stories surrounding this rich man trying to win over his favourite maid.

It seems like it might be headed towards a real relationship but I have no desire to continue on with this series unfortunately!

2/5⭐️

A very fun book with a main character who just can't grasp what will it take to please the maid that is assisting him. Plenty of funny moments and character interactions.

Review to come October 8th to blog/goodreads.

I received this book from Netgalley/publisher in exchange of an honest review.

I just cannot resist a manga about maids. Add to that some romance. Some randomness/humour. Sold!

In this book we meet the wealthiest, sexiest, most eligible bachelor named Kiichiro Hayase. He can get any girl he wants.. but all he wants is to make his maid Kishi smile. Yep. That is right. Most of this manga is about him trying to make her smile. To make her happy. He tries so hard and at times I was just laughing at his efforts and how he totally couldn't understand that Kishi... likes him back. Yep. It was clear from the start that she has a soft spot for her employer. But she just doesn't show that. As you can see on the cover she looks like she is just not impressed. Maybe even a tad frustrated. But actually? She is quite happy with him. And it is just cute. But back to his efforts. They were just over the top for most. Like what you get with many of these stories about rich guys. Buying all the stores? Maybe sweet, but a bit too much. But I did like that he at least tried to figure things out. And I loved that, at one point, he just went to see what she does daily (and if she takes enough rest). What follows is a hilarious chaotic few hours of him trying to check out what Kishi is doing... then hiding... then failing at that, but thinking he did a good job. While we, the reader, and well Kishi as well, see clearly that that is not how you hide. XD

But LORD he is a klutz. For real. I wonder how this guy even survives the day. I mean, he breaks a window by just pointing at it (and this is window in a very high building). When in thought he breaks all the vases in the houses and doesn't understand why his accountant is crying. He breaks his neck daily over little things. At times things just topple if he looks at it causing some silly situations. It made me laugh though because each time I thought it couldn't get worse it got even worse. I felt for maids in the house, especially Kishi as she is the one who is closest to him and the one to fix things. She doesn't seem to mind much, she must be an angel (or really love him much). Seriously, if my employer was so clumsy and caused me even more work? I am not sure I would stay there long. I am sorry.

Kishi was a wonderful character. I really love how stoic she is, but at the same time is showing some fun emotions. Plus, I love seeing her move. She is very agile. You will get it if you read it.

I really liked the art of this manga. It really captured the personalities of both characters.

So this manga was just hilarious, over the top, silly and I just want to know... will they get together? Will she smile when he is around or just keep that to when she thinks of him and isn't near him. XD I want more! I need more! I cannot wait to see what is next for this couple.
