A smoothly paced romance, full of laughter and love.
I was laughing from the first chapter.
Faking dating. Friends to lovers.
A fun story full of banter and witty unique characters.
The gradual relationship build between the main couple as well as between the main female character and the other tenants of the apartment block made it easier to get to know them and made them all the more likeable.
It didn't feel unrealistic or like the relationship was rushed as sometimes it can with romance novels.
The peak moment of their relationship although felt a bit randomly placed had a fresh outlook being from the male pov, much more impactful and refreshing compared to if it had of just been from the female characters pov.
The introduction of a problem in the relationship wasn't done in a typical way where an ex reappears. The issue was more thought out and a great way to show realism.
The unique additional development of side povs from auggie gave a nice break from the main story.
Overall the relationships and developments felt healthy.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review, which has not altered my opinion of this book. I would like to thank NetGalley and No Box Books for the ARC copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It was cute and I enjoyed the fact that the majority of it was them communicating, it's one of the few that doesn't have the miscommunication trope. Which is my LEAST favorite trope of all of them. These two were just the cutest. Justine is just adorable and is getting taken advantage of from bother her family and her boss, and makes a surprising friend with her downstairs neighbor, Xavier, who is a thoughtful person who is more than willing to be a good friend to his attractive neighbor. I love how their romance was shown, explore, and expanded upon.

The side characters were wonderful, and I enjoyed Katie and can't wait for her story!! Auggie was a true delight once I got used to her manner and I enjoyed the fact that the two of them were twins, it made the dynamics that much more interesting. All the inhabitants of the apartment building were so much fun, I loved Top and Sam were probably my favorite.

I highly recommend this book! There are several spicy scenes and I thought they were well done. The book was a sweet love story about two adults who have been burned in the past and are attempting to move beyond this. This book gets a 4 out of 5 from me.

Thank you very much for the privilege and opportunity to read this book. Full review to follow both here and on the blog. I live romantic stories especially those that exist around an apartment setting I just think they are so intriguing and fun. This story seems to feature a great storyline, cast of characters , and even a bonus short story! I can’t wait to dive in and share my thoughts even more.
