This book is something that I will be buying a physical copy for myself for christmas. It sat on my shelf for quite a while until I found time to read it. I hope they make more in this vein, and I hope they send them to Netgalley so I get to review them. Was fun and entertaining and I was surprised by how much I didn't know.

This was a really good and interesting look into the actual science of monsters.

I really like the details and the different experts that explained the details and I even liked the arguments that popped up when the experts did not agree. (the aliens section made me snort out loud)

I would put this at a middle school/high school level as its not overly technical but it might be a bit too detailed for elementary school aged kids.

What a great read! This fascinating collection featured articles and interviews by varied sources, all around the topic of monsters (as one could guess from the title). Some of the sections were a bit repetitive, but there was at least some new information in each one.

Thank you for the ARC of this book!!!!! What a gem!!!! This book belongs on the shelves of the library of every highschool. The only thing that would make this book even better is pictures, e.g., of the fungus-infested ants. Young readers love pictures. Another bonus would be some links to (trustworthy) websites (maybe with a QR code for easy access). Sometimes the wording was a bit advanced for teenagers, but overall this was a great read.
