This book is so adorable! I loved learning about the different breeds of cats and the meaning of cat behaviors. As a cat parent, I appreciate learning a lot about cats and their behaviors, as well as their cuteness and differences. This one has a lot of pictures of adorable cats and I just am so happy throughout my reading experience.

Is there anything better than the love of a cat? If there is, I have yet to discover it. What a gorgeous book of cats in the wild and our every day spoiled house cats accompanied by insights into their quirky behaviors. This book is a must have for any cat lover.

A beautiful coffee table book filled with photos of cats. There are four main sections, wild cats, short haired, long haired and kittens. This is primarily a photo book. Each photo is given a small blurb of surface level information but it wouldn’t be useful for selecting a breed or knowing specific traits. This is a beautiful coffee table picture filled with stock photographs and small bits of information. It's divided into four chapters -- wild cats, short haired cats, long haired cats, and kittens. It covers a wide variety of breeds and types of cats and each photo has a small paragraph with information. It is primarily a photo book, though you do learn bits of things. The last chapter (kittens) felt more like a calendar than an informational book, since the same breeds had already been covered and it was just pictures of kittens in various breeds.

I was surprised and disappointed that the book recommended giving house cats access to the outdoors. This is neither safe for cats or wildlife like birds. I also got the feeling that a lot of people are now going to want to go out and buy specific breeds of rare cats since there was such a focus on the exotic. With the millions of "moggie" (mixed breed) cats needing homes, I wish there had been far more focus on appreciating cats in general instead. That said, it's a really beautiful, interesting book.

Cats is a beautiful coffee table book celebrating all that the cat species has to offer. Broken down to into sections about wild cats, domestic cats, behavior, and more this book features large full-color photographs of the majesty of cats. The photos are all captioned but most of these captions were very surface level. I wish there was more information on the individual breeds, especially ones that have specific behaviors or are hypoallergenic. I did get a kick out of all the cat's expressions. Everything from pride to embarrassment was captured on their little faces.

This picture book offers you gorgeous photos and plenty information about cats. Mostly catalogue about the origin wild cats and the breeds create afterfor based on their fur types. The photos are gorgeous and high quality but personally I need more substance information about the species i love so much such as treatment, diets, meds, training or healthy issues for each breed.

This book is perfect to cat lover who love light read and decorative books on their coffee table. Thank you Netgalley and Amber Books for let me read this book. My thoughts are my own.

Disclaimer: I love cats more than anything in the world, so I would enjoy a book with cat pictures taken with people’s cell phones. The photographs in this book are not regular pictures, but gorgeous and perfectly clear images of all kinds of cats, along with explanations about their origins, breeds and behavior. The first part includes the big cousins, the wild kitties who live in many different environments but who, overall, share many of the traits of our house cats. The rest of the chapters are devoted to domestic cats. I learned a lot about the different breeds, including that my parents’ rescue is not a Siamese, but a Wichien Maat. The texts are brief so most of the information will be known to cat people, but the photographs are amazing. A great book for ailurophiles and humans who don’t yet know the joys of kitty parenthood but want to learn more about felines.

I came for the pictures and got plenty of informations. It's perfect for any cat lovers as the pictures are gorgeous.

Have you ever heard of a Toyger? That's right, they created a breed in the 80's that is a Toy Tiger, combining a domestic shorthair cat with a bengal cat and they are adorable! This book fulfilled my childhood dream that it is indeed possible to adopt a tiger in your own home, just maybe not the big ones.

This book was a really fun way to learn about the diversity of the cat kingdom. It was divided into sections of wild cats, short-haired cats, long-haired cats, and kittens. Every cat breed had a beautiful picture and brief, detailed description on the origin of the breed and the personality traits. I found the descriptions of the breeds helpful, especially if you're in the process of learning which cat breed you'd like to adopt. I had no idea so many breeds existed. Read this book as a cursory course: cat breeds 101 with pictures!

I felt like the kitten chapter was repetitive because all of the kitten breeds were covered in the previous chapters. But kittens are cute and who doesn't love to look at and admire adorably fluffy kittens?

My only disappointment was there were far more pictures than information and I was wanting and expecting at least a few more pages of information (because it helps me as a cat owner to learn more about cats and cat behavior). It was still informative and I feel like I know a lot more about the many different cat breeds - wild and domesticated - which is interesting.

This book was filled with beautiful photos of so many different types of cats including wild cats and domesticated cats. Each photo has a caption with a little bit of interesting info on the cat. This would be a beautiful coffee table book to have around!

This was the most awesome book, and detailed book I’ve read yet on cats, all feline breeds. The graphics were the best I’ve seen for a reference book like this, original & in their natural habitats or house cats photographed at their very best and creatively. All the stars. Absolutely loved this.

Cats: A Celebration of Our Feline Friends is a wonderful book with beautiful photographs. It will be a delight for every cat lover and appropriate for gift. It covers wild and domesticated cats, short- and long-haired breeds, and some interesting information about cats. I learned a few new interesting facts about cats. A quick read. Recommended.

I read this in less than an hour and it absolutely made my day. Learned so much about cats! I did want to see more technical facts about cats as advertised on the back (like tail flicking meaning etc) - this was more an informative book on different breeds. Nonetheless, super fun read with amazing pictures!

I'm a proud mom of 4 cats and love reading about these magnificent felines. This book is a short encyclopedia about cats, with tons of gorgeous photos, and quite a lot of interesting information. From different breeds to cat behavior and facts about kittens.

Absolutely gorgeous book, full of beautiful colour photos of lots of cat breeds. It has brief descriptions of each breed, their behaviour and social interaction. All cat lovers need this book! Highly recommended

I'm a cat auntie to a Russian Blue, calico and tortoiseshell, so it was cute to see those represented.
