Okay, I liked this book better than the first one! (is that an unpopular opinion?) I just adore Bennett and found their relationship so sweet. The series still hasn’t blown me away, but I definitely fell in love with the setting more in this one — maybe it was the baby duck?

4.25⭐️

4🌟 - I liked it!
I loved Lovelight Farms, so I was so excited to read this one! I always love the Gilmore Girls vibes of the setting. I LOVED Beckett! He was so sweet, but I wanted a little more of their connection. Overall the book could of been a little bit shorter and we would of gotten the same impact of the story. I am excited to start Mixed Signals soon!

I actually could not stand the audio of this and would not recommend it to anyone. The voices and slowness of talking (even at 2.5 speed) took away from what could’ve been a great story

I just don’t think this author is for me. I know others who rave and I love that for them! Thank you to my girls who buddy read this with me. I struggled with the identities of the characters after some controversy with the author and have a hard time looking past that. It’s 2023.

All the stars.

I can't recommend this series via audiobook more. The narrators do a great job of bringing Evie and Beckett to life.

This story gave me all the warm and fuzzies!

In the Weeds was an excellent audiobook and it gave me all the great feels! I loved Beckett and Evie love story and while I hadn't read the first book, but that didn't throw me off at all. Beckett and Evie wanted to pretend there was no love connection, but the harder they fought it - well, you read it and you see what happens! It i absolutely worth your time.. Thank you #NetGalley and #DreamscapeMedia for the advance audiobook copy for this complimentary copy I was asked to give my unbiased and honest opinion.

Evelyn comes back to town after burning out on her social media job. She just wants to lay in a field and get her head on straight and Beckett came by to ruin all those plans for her just by being a sunkissed snack. Beckett is covered from wrist to neck in stars and flower tattoos which is a lovely choice for a hero.

I just liked both of them so much. He gets overwhelmed by loud crowds and too many people and she started carrying ear plugs to make it easier on him without him asking. Tiny things like that make me swoon.

Thank you to Netgalley, Dreamscape Media, and B.K. Borison for a copy in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.

This follows Lovelight farms, in this trilogy, and there in lies the problem, a lot of the action for the book happens in love light farms. The meet cute, the re meet up, so by the time we get to this book, there are a lot of pages for what could actually happen in half the space. It is cute story, but it felt to extended. I love the concept of find my happy, but really there was a lot wrong in the end framing where finding her love was with a man - they missed a great opportunity of given more weight to other factors. Her new job could have contributed to her happy, but in the end her happy still seemed way to attached to Beckett. I did have a personal pet peeve in the audio, The use of Honey for their pet names. Be forewarned, this is very steamy (way more than I expected)

FANTASTIC!! Audiobooks are on another level! The story was immersive and overall enjoyable! The narrator was great! No complaints!

WOW. I enjoyed this SO MUCH MORE than Lovelight Farms! This fucked RIGHT OFF THE BAT and pretty much kept that up the entire book. 10/10 on that front. And their will they, won’t they wasn’t as difficult to, for lack of a better term, weed through as the predecessor since their story was Chance rather than over a decade’s long dance. I REALLY enjoyed this. Excited for the third!

I think I felt the same way about this audiobook as I did for the previous one I reviewed for the author, I hope it’s not repetitive!

This felt like a really enjoyable read, relaxing and kind of predictable but fun nonetheless! It gave me hallmark big career woman returning to a small town vibes, and I thought the chemistry was excellent.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

There must be something in the water at Lovelight Farms. As with the first book, we've got beautiful people who are clearly smitten with each other acting, who forget that other's can't read their minds and they actually have to vocalize what they want when it comes to romance. Let us roll our eyes collectively. BUT this series is so achingly sweet and charming that I'll keep reading every book.

This little town has it all, a phone chain where gossip flies, unintentionally funny folks, people that will help out at the drop of a hat, whether help is wanted or not. No one flies under the radar. Social media influencer Evelyn St. James met Beckett, Lovelight farmhand and part owner, for two unforgettable nights. Before she fled. Now she's run into him again, accidentally, when she's shows up to feature Lovelight Farms on her platform. They tiptoe around their past meeting, and then she runs away again. Only to return when her overwhelming career choices force her to rethink things. She is really running to Beckett but won't admit it to herself or him. He's not been able to forget her for one day so this throws both Beckett and Evelyn into angst-ville since they won't talk about how they really feel about their nonrelationship and won't address what they both really want from each other.

A fun, sweet, easy read full of adoration, love, steam, and, yes, the miscommunication trope.

Beckett and Evelyn were so much fun to follow. Beckett with all the animals-swoon. I liked how Evelyn took a step back from work and learned how to enjoy life again, how to discover what makes her happy. It was relatable. These two had so much chemistry that they couldn’t even trust being in the same room with each other. The narrator did a good job. Also, how cute is the cover?! Thank you to the publisher and the NetGalley for the opportunity to listen in exchange for a review.

I loved this book so much. It was so nice to read about Beckett and Evie. It was nice to learn more about Beckett and why he is the way he is, and what causes his gruff responses in book one. I wanted to know more about him and this book dives right into the character background that I so desperately desire in all my books.

One incredible weekend in Maine, and Beckett Porter is officially a distracted man. He's not unfamiliar with hot and heavy flings. He knows how it goes. But Evie wove some sort of magic over him during their tumble in the sheets. He can't stop thinking about her laugh, her hand flat against his chest.

IN THE WEEDS was really cute, and it was fun to get more perspective into Beckett's life. I listened to the audiobook copy, which was narrated by Pippa Jayne and Dane Anderson.

*many thanks to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review

B.K Borison absolutely exceeded my expectations as a romance author on this book. This was my first B.K Borison read after hearing so many good things and I can’t lie, I was so excited. She really lived up to the hype around her name. This cutesy, cheesy romance was exactly what I wanted it to be. My favorite quote has to be “did you find your happy today?” After a bout of depression and feeling lost, I feel that hearing this question in a book just made me so warm and fuzzy. Honestly a must read for anyone.

Well, well, well.... I knew I loved Beckett, he is very much my type, but I wasn't so sure I would love getting a closer look at Evie. Social media influencers do not interest me very much, but her journey to find her 'happy' was beautiful and relatable.

Though I enjoyed Lovelight Farms, I REALLY enjoyed In the Weeds! I loved getting a more in-depth look into Beckett and all of his ins and outs. I loved seeing Luka and Stella from the outside, and glimpses of all of our other favorite side characters!

Ive already started book 3... THANK YOU BK Borison for these characters <3

I enjoyed this one! It was a cute story that started with a one night stand with someone they would never see again (and they did of course!).

I'll definitely go back and read the first one in this interconnected series.

A one night stand, second chance, small town, grumpy x sunshine romance? yes, please, and thank you.
