Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

Brooke and her friend Felicity have gone into business together. They decide to head to Paris and take part in the Christmas market. None of them are looking for a relationship but will they change their mind when they find themselves crossing paths with Manin and Armand.

A great book of heartbreak and second chances.

I love Christmas books so much, especially this one was a cute one set in Paris. How perfect! I appreciate the opportunity to read and review!

I was really looking forward to a story about Christmas and two women spending the holiday season in lovely Paris sounded just up my alley.
Unfortunately I could not get into this book at all. I gave it a try, and then again and again but at 22% in, I give up.
It’s not that the characters or the setting are not enjoyable, it is just that nothing captivating has happened yet.. so far, the main characters have only visited some tourist places and I am not invested in their story.
In the meantime I have picked up two other Christmas books and do not want to return to the world in this book.

I am very grateful for the opportunity however to read an advanced copy but there are just too many books out there to get stuck behind a book that is not right for me.

Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the writing of the storyline in this one, might be a nice festive read for some but this book didn’t do it for me
Thank you for the chance to read

Very very slow burn and overly bogged down with descriptions of everything. If you are a big fan of Paris, you will like the story and the descriptions of the city. The characters are ok but did not particularly stand out for me.

I love Christmas and I love Paris, so this was a perfect read for me! This book perfectly captures the spirit of Christmas markets and you can almost smell it! A warm story of friendship and finding love amidst the glittering backdrop of one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

This was a typical slowburn romance about two friends traveling to Paris to sell their jewelry's at a christmas market. I really liked the athmosphere in this book. I could really imagine all the places that was described and they visited. If you have been to Paris, you know have beautiful it is. Unfortunately that was all that I liked about this book. The rest was quite boring and it was really a slowburn. Nothing special happened in this book. Nothing I will remember in a year that I have read.

This book sounded so good, and as a lover of all things Paris, I was very excited to read this one. Unfortunately, for me, this book just wasn't what I was hoping. I had a hard time connecting to anything and I couldn't get hooked or interested in the story. I had to DNF this book. I hope to maybe pick it up at another time to see if it's just a book for a different time. But this is not the time, unfortunately. Out of respect for the book and the author, I will not be leaving a review on social media.

This was a cute read. I enjoyed exploring Paris with Brooke and Felicity and seeing Paris through their eyes. Armand was a delightful addition to the cast and oozed charm and thoughtfulness.

However, I got bored throughout the middle of the book. I was having trouble staying invested in the story as it just became slow. It did pick up in the end and I am glad that I finished it. This is a nice little Christmas comfort read and is perfect if you are looking for something light and fun. I will definitely be trying another Tilly Tenant book in the near future. 3.5 stars

As someone who’s been to Christmas markets in Paris I was excited to read this book! It was cute, but the plot didn’t get too thick. It was all very “when is something going to happen?” Brooke and Felicity have a strong friendship and reading through their journey in Paris was fun, however! What happened at the stall?? We had like two more weeks before Christmas?? And the book just ended. Did they meet their goal? Were they happy with profits? Will they be coming back? The ending was not ideal.

Christmas in Paris by Tilly Tennant
Earc: NetGalley
Publisher:Bookouture
Publication Date: 21 Oct 2022
Genre :General Fiction, Women's fiction, Romance

Brooke and her best friend Felicity own a shop that sells handicrafts. They were planning to go to Paris in December and sell goods at his market at Christmas. But when Brooke's boyfriend of three years abruptly broke up with her - married someone else within months - she was heartbroken. I think the story has a lot of potential, but the plot was everywhere. Sometimes it felt like the story went on and on, and other times it felt like there wasn't enough explanation. My Kindle showed that the book had an hour left, so it seemed to end abruptly, which was a bit confusing (it contained part of another book). I got a feel for it, but I wish there was more explanation for some of the characters. A few minor character suspicions will leave you guessing where the story is going!

Overall a sweet and heartwarming love story. The story is a little long, so I'm worried about it.

The characters lacked inspiration or interest, but were intriguing enough to follow their relationships.

All in all, there's a lot more to come, from moving and authentic scenes to hilarious and embarrassing situations filled with romance sparkle and holiday vibes.

After a tough few months, Brooke is in Paris for work. Will a few chance meetings with Armand lead to more?
A great setting for a festive read.

I dont really know if I liked this book or not, there was a lot of repeating as in a character "thought" about something and then it was asked or said, the characters weren't great again can't really say what was missing they were just a bit bland, the story dragged on a bit and lost its way in the middle, I did want to know how it ended but then was very underwhelmed, sorry its not more positive.

Christmas In Paris is a fun, light read. I didn't get the Christmassy feel usual from this type of book but it was still enjoyable.
Brooke and her friend, Felicity, make handmade crafts. They head off to Paris for the month of December to run a stall at the Christmas market.
They meet some interesting characters and relationships develop, along with misunderstandings and drama!
This book probably won't make you want to visit Paris. Robbers, crime, violence and a stalker all feature in the story!

Christmas in Paris by Tilly Tennant is a gorgeously written, heartwarming read that feels like a warm, comforting hug in book form. My first festive read of the year, I can think of none better to start with than this beautiful tale set in snow covered Paris, the most romantic city on earth.

After splitting with her long term boyfriend, heartbroken Brooke is determined that her trip to Paris with best friend and work partner Felicity is going to be all about her. But then a chance encounter leads her to handsome Armand, with his dark wavy hair and warm smile, and she feels herself beginning to melt. So when he opens up to her and kisses her at the top of the Eiffel Tower, Brooke decides to give love a second chance. After all, doesn’t everyone deserve to grab a little happiness where they can?

But then Armand appears to change towards her and Brooke wonders if she has been made a fool of once again. So when he leaves Paris just as Christmas Eve approaches, Brooke tries to uncover the truth of what he’s been hiding. Who is the blonde woman who appears to be watching her wherever she goes? And why has Armand been lying to her about where he’s been?

Christmas in Paris is a wonderful, feel good romantic tale that has everything you could possibly need from a festive read. Tilly Tennant has written a book filled to the brim with not only tender and heartfelt moments but also fun, friendship and romance, all beautifully wrapped up in the perfect winter setting of Paris at Christmas time.

Pure escapism at its very best, I loved every word of this charming, gorgeously written and heartwarming story. The perfect read to kick off the festive season, Christmas in Paris is a book I would highly recommend.

Tennant is one of my go-to authors, so obviously it was going to be a five star review and that was before I even factored in the city of love and Christmas elements.

Paris and Christmas markets, two of my favourite things which conjure up the picture perfect Christmas card and are my idea of heaven.

Beautifully written with some adorable characters, Brooke and Felicity the best friends that we all wish we had.

Heartwarming, cosy and a definite winner on the festive fiction front.

Many thanks to Bookouture for my tour spot.
